The tone and the feel is the most important aspect of theatrical type guitar playing and playing with backing tracks... You have to make the entire track your very own; or you will be stuck on repeat ... meaning, you won't play with your fullest mindset of everything that needs to be played, no matter what; within your own vocabulary, that is..... Especially if you hardly cover any other players music and only do mostly your own, like I do. Your abilities, should match your emotional creativity... That's the best way I can explain it....
