I have a 2005 Aniversary 3200 Xtreme with a 72” cut. I just replaced a hydraulic line and front wheel bearings. It has been a great mower. I just replaced all of the decals.
40 year old chain drive chopper still going strong
I bought a used one! Rough brake cable broke, drive belt failure and I had to replace the bulk head fitting on both tanks. New battery, tractor spring seat and some false grass carpet to line the foot tray. It is now good to go

I have a 60 inch classic had since 2007 but its a 2001 just oil changes grease the Kohler had around 4k hrs since I used it for landcare, bought a parts one with low hr Generac 27hp put that on. The Kohler still ran great but muffler was collapsing which happens esp in New England . I have had newer mowers but honestly didn't compare!
I remember sitting on that fast moving mower when you were sick the only problem I had was when i was mowing those darn rocks were bigger than they looked so I guess I understand why you didn't call me to help out with that mowing chore again. ....

I have a 2003 XT2800 60" Dixie with the Kohler 28 EFI engine. I don't know what you're doing to the spindle pullies to make them break like that, but mine have almost 3,000 hours on them and they are the original pullies. If you look at the key switch from the front of the mower you'll see a small white light just to the right of the light. If you turn the key quickly on and off and leave it on on the third key on, the white light will flash a series of codes that will indicate which part of the EFI to look at for a problem. If you get a 61 code (6 blinks, a pause, and then 1 blink) that indicates that the computer is not seeing any problems. If you get any other blink codes then you can look up the code in the factory service manual for the CV745 Kohler engine and see what the problem is.
When DC went down a lot of dealers went out of business so parts are hard to come by

@@GrowingABetterTomorrow Dixie Chopper built a few different models with the Yanmar several years ago. The 60" was likely a 26hp and the 72" could have been a 35hp or the turbo-charged 50hp.
