Self care doesn't always mean skincare. Especially so as a minimalist. Within minimalism, frugal living & and sustainable living we can think of all kinds of natural homemade remedies within our own home. This not only cuts down on clutter but also aids environmental impact. It is also much more zero waste.
Here I discuss some strategies for minimalist skincare and self care but how the two don't need to be considered the same thing. Moreover, neither does spending a fortune on any kind of product or item for that matter. It is simply overspending and not true self care in my opinion.

I've started to realise that self care isn't just buying material products it's also doing things for yourself mentally and emotionally too. It could be as small as taking a walk in your favourite place, meditation, hobbies and crafts ,journalling. I absolutely love your videos!!! They have really changed how I look at everything now and your voice is so soothing too 😊

Yes this 🎉fed up seeing “ influencers” using like 10 things o their faces like really!! They need all that chemicals on their face and how can the skin absorb all that!
Definitely self care is more than skin care :) thanks for another great video :)
Green tea bags for puffy eyes (either warm or cold) ;) 🐄

Another great video, I totally agree with the less is more approach for skin care and have been looking into more home remedies so I know exactly what is going into the things I use on my body.

Skincare is one of my soft spots; I used to use 3 or 4 serums at the same time, but since my skin started reacting, I limit myself to one^^ I also use a cleanser for sensitive/dry skin, an eye cream, a moisturizer and a sunscreen :)

My mother had the most beautiful radiant skin I have ever seen. This was her daily skincare: stay out of the sun as much as possible (was before the days of sunscreen), wash face morning and evening with inexpensive bar soap, and lightly coat with Vaseline. I have spent many years trying out all the latest "miracle" lotions and potions. I have finally settled on these care products: sunscreen, a good cleanser, and moisturizer. I keep make-up to a minimum believing that the older you get, the less you need.

My nana has a similar routine and she swears by feeding her skin from the inside out, with an avocado 🥑 most days. 😊

Me watching the video just back from parapharmacy store 👀🙊😂
But you're right about skincare 😊 the fact is that maybe with seasons, the skin needs to be nourish differently (I put nothing in summer but I have lots of redness in winter and dry skin so I put cream).
I share stuff for people: vinegar for hair makes your hair shiny ✨😎, coconut oil for exczema, insect bites, dryness on body help a lot 😁 and a spoon of tea tree oil with honey for sore throat ☺️
Self care: sometimes if I have pain in my body I go 2h sessions on a thermal place 🫧 being in water is the best 😁 I wish to live in a beach place 🌊
If you think too much or be burnout, go for a walk in forest!! 🌲 You'll come back sooth and calm 😌
Have a good day Lydia 🕯️♥️

Just check your dragonfruit before you eat it - it might need some ripening time - normally they are vibrant pink when we see them in our supermarkets here in Aus (also they aren’t cheap here either - between $3 - $5 so you got a good deal!)

Hi, try drinking the water slowly and on 3 times not chugging it at one time, use your right hand, to be sitting down and to say Bismillah or in the name of god. That is way more healthy for you and it's Sunnah for us as Muslims. I Would love to see you try that out. I love you btw and I watch all of your videos. You give me so much inspiration to do things in life. I wish you a happy, minimal and clutter free life 😂. May Allah bless you ❤

I have used that Pixi product and forgot how much I liked it. When I run out of my moisturizer, I'm gonna pick it up.
