Chrysler 300 Crank No Start

- My 2005 Chrysler 300 randomly died & would not start back up. I've replaced the EGR, the purge valve, spark plugs, vapor canister, gas cap, vapor canister solenoid, lower/upper intake gasket, valve cover gaskets, pcv valve, altenator & battery. The fuel pump was replaced 2-3 years ago & it does prime like it suppose to. There was a code for something with the evap sensor; something about the pressure & something being stuck opened or closed. I'm stuck at this point!
07 3.5L blew a head adding pwr parts , had exchanged/repaired ,1st no start put in new starter.no start just yesterday/today. does the exact, same sound. rev with one clicking. going to check valve spring, and fix it.
Check that your fuel pump is sending fuel to your fuel rail
Did you ever get it together? I’m hvn the same exact problem and did the same exact things you’ve done for it I’ve also done. I hv a 06 300 3.5 RWD Touring
Mine was my fuel sending unit. .did you change both sides or one?
I'm having the same problem. the 2.7 is not a good engine. I think mine along with yours could be seized up. It seems like the timing is way off and the engine turns over but the starter struggles to turn the crank. Ultimately, if you do not change the oil regularly these engines are known to seize up due to oil sludge. Probably needs a new engine.

You have two fuel pumps. Change the pump behind the passenger seat. Spray some starter fluid in the throttle body then try to start it. If it starts it’s the fuel pump 2.
Mine was the passenger side
Have you look at the relay
Look at the power cable in the passenger wheel well heard it’s able to short the TIPM should be crank faster if the timing chains not good
Nope it was my fuel sending unit the driver tank was out of gas but passenger was full. .transferred the gas & it cranked

Some one said my timing but I don’t believe that my car sounds just like yours did when trying to crank
On the 3.5 is timing belt. It can jump I just fix one 07 3.5 started after the first crank and died after 5 sec so stared 3-4 times and died after 5 sec. Now it won't crank nothing cero nada. Found blown fuse in the trunk that say ign. Replaced but still the same. The security light is blinking when turn ign on i reset the ecm , same thing no crank.
I'm going to do another video because I'm getting alot of comments asking how. .but remove the rear seat to expose the top of the tank. I saw the main driver side tank was empty & the passenger was full. I got a container & transferred the gas from the pass to driver tank & it fired up.

Call chrysler with your vin # there are some with a bad valve in the gas tank that are under warranty. I'm about to replace my primary fuel pump as my vin is not involved in recall. I have spent $16,000 on mine from new engine as they said it blew cylinder to catalytic converters and it still gives me stall problems. Might be time to get another car, i have to keep tank filled under 3/4 tank or it stalls and has electrical issues. I'm thinking problems with the wiring now ugh this car is so nice but a money pit. Yep stop now it is a sinking ship, had 5 mechanics diagnosed it as different things only to get a practically rebuilt car and still have to keep a siphoning hose and tow truck on call 😂😂😂
Mine ended up being the fuel sending unit under the passenger rear seat. .replaced it & boom go to go

it started right up
It Ran for 3 to 5 min and died
Ran the code checker now say Crank sensor P0335
This is like a dog chasing its a tale

@@joemorrow7691 my issue was the fuel sending unit passenger side. .sediments in the tank can clog the unit. .the best way to check to see if your injectors are getting fuel is to remove the rear seat & tank cap passenger side. .disconnect the hose running into the top of the unit place a rag underneath & turn you key from off to run & few times to see if the pump is priming gas to the fuel rail. If it is I am going to go out on a limb & say it's possibly a clogged injector, faulty ignition coil/spark plug. .if it is not sending gas to the fuel rail then replace the pump again. I'm on my 3rd pump

Timming belt definitely broke but not necessarily the engine is broke. I just experienced this same fix 3 days ago and my valves never bend. I changed the whole timming belt kit, and tensioner and serpentine. That’s not needed but if ur there why not guarantee the longer mileage

What happened to your wife happened to me it happen to be the timing that was bad and off. So I redid my timing belt water pump and pulleys inside
Check your starter relay.
Try the relays starter switch

@@jamondrake7834 then it's either your coils or spark plugs aren't sparking, your injectors are clogged or not spraying gas or your pvc valve may be clogged

My girl 07 3.5 300 died going down the road. I came to UA-cam to see if anybody went through this. Her car sound different. Your car sounds like timing chain. Stick a screw driver in the c.o.p and put it next to some metal not aluminum. See if they sparking. Spray starting fluid to see if you getting fuel. I'm thinking my issue is pcm
What if the serpentine belt is rotating. .so you still think it could be a timing chain?
So today I looked at it again & i noticed that my fuel pump primes but it isn't sending gas to the fuel rail hose. .I called the dealer & on eof the nicer techs said i probably got bad gas in the the tank. .
I removed the rear seat & the cover on the passenger side to reveal that plastic hose. .I removed it & it shouldve sprayed some fuel but it didn't. .I then left the hose off & went to prime the fuel pump again while looking in the back to see if that pump would shoot gas but nothing happened. .the dealer guy said thats not normal but its normal but the pump can prime but not provide enough pressure. .
@@taemarquis5243 that's all true I heard it coming on in your video that's why I asked if you've tried spraying starting fluid through the throttle body. I so far away but to me it sounds like it's not even trying to start.
@@taemarquis5243 the serpentine belt gonna spin as long as the engine crankshaft is spinning and the belts connected. Even if t.c broke or jumped.
@@eazydamonster1949 I figured it out 🙌. .its my fuel sending unit. So the gas was sitting in the passenger side tank but the driver side tank was empty. .so the sending unit isn't doing its job sending fuel from the passenger back to the driver side to pump out to my fuel rail. I took the gas from the passenger side tank & poured it into the driver side tank & primed the pump & wala it took a few cranks & some starter fluid but it fire right up. Now I've noticed a leak in one of my fuel injector seals. So I gotta fix that & it should be all good.
