This helped greatly! I bought the tumbler thinking that was the problem. Nope. Just wish I found this video sooner but at least I can drive it with this method until the parts store opens. Thank you man
This saved the day... and $$$ I have notice that your key was somewhat loose, just like mine, so I canceled the switch and the lock itself, just got the actuator pin. First, I took it apart as suggested, and I did found broken pin. So, confirmed it was broken, got the new pin in the store, replaced it, and got it working, all within 45 min. THANK YOU!!!
Turned out to be false programming ib key lost signal and last mechanic used bs software. Juat got a new key and had it programmed keep in mind i got a regular key to start car no electro bs on back and key to open driver door two keys total
You can take the relay for ignition out replace w the horn relay its the same # if that doesn’t work then you take the relay out get a paperclip and from the top left corner to the bottom right put the paper clip in but only with the key in n the on position and it may start! This will mean it’s not your starter and the problem is between the key and your relay. Actuators are usually at fault in crystler

I just got the new battery it worked right after i noticed my car started over heating so i went to get antifreeze put antifreeze in then waited for half an hour went to leave then when i started it cranked but didnt stay on .. After doin a few times NOW ITDOESNT even crank over makes no noise went back to where it was at from gate ... What is wrong ??
Ive just replaced my ignition switch (80 quid) and still having same problem. My key doesnt free spin tho it will spring back once i let go but the car sometimes doesnt crank other times it will start, ideas?
So i tried it and it wasnt it turned out my key lost signal due to being poorly programed. Last dude used outdated software i believe. New mechanic juat programmed another key juat had to buy new key from chrysler dodge dealership. Was under 200 bucks
