The Renovation results on an English Country Garden

This lawn was in the grounds of a medieval house in the historical village of Long Melford, Suffolk, Uk. The soil was not what o expected, loamy and really nice which would indicate to me that the lawn has probably over the years been used for the cultivation of vegetables or similar.
