It is an amazing fishing destination, roughly 80 to 120 miles west off Hudson FL! Anyway, I learned about 10 years ago that fishing offshore on the Gulf is a young man's game, though there are ton's of fish to be caught! However, if I got a boat like yours, I could easily return! That is one amazing fishing machine you have there, bro! I'm quite jealous! 😊

I loved being underway in the middle of the Pacific when I was in the Navy. So peaceful. No light pollution to skew the heavens. Seeing clearly planets, stars and constellations. Ofcourse, Mother Nature can go from serenity to anger in the blink of an eye😂😂😂
Thank you for your service to our country.... Being offshore is the best place to see the stars! I've spent a number of nights offshore fishing and it's hard to describe how bright, and how many stars are visible. In the mid 1990's I was given the opportunity (Thank you Peter and son Pete Fleming) to cross from Honolulu to San Diego as a 'guest' on a Spruance Class destroyer, the USS Fletcher DD 992. Part of that trip was in the tail of a typhoon, (hurricane winds and 60' seas). Nature went from angry to major-pissed-off! We lost two helicopters and three men doing 'practice' maneuvers on that West Pac. (not during the storm) But the other downed copter was found/recovered and all on board were rescued. Goes to show how dangerous even 'practice' exercises can be.
