Hi Capt... the air-conditioning is one of the best items you added to your boat, especially knowing how hot and humid it can be in the Bahamas. I was born and raised in a north state and never even slept in an air-conditioned room until I was 18, after moving south to go the school. The first time I experienced air-conditioning was in a movie theater! Thank you Mr. Carrier for your great invention! ☺
@@andrewfyakim525 Wow, captain. You didn't have air conditioner.Where you were young. That is incredible.Well I can tell you that when I came from cuba at eleven years old I didn't have air condition are either so I know the feeling. And this window air conditioner for the money I pay for it and I've been using it.Almost eight years is incredible and a lot of people have problems when they navigate because of their water intake to cool the Ac But the window air conditioner does not have a problem with it because it doesn't take His water to cool the system down and Thank you captain for watching this morning and have a beautiful day
There was one drone scene of the Crooked Pilot House and the water was so clear that you could even see the prop turning on the Minn Kota. Love your videos and you make me hungary with your cooking.
I have been watching you for years and I have the same boat but much older and yep mine is a bit crooked as well. Every year I keep saying I'm going to add the a/c unit like you did but this upcoming year I'm determined to do it. Wish me luck! Thanks for the video keep up the good work. Palanté como un elefante siempre!
@@cityislandfish-adventures Awesome, captain. I'm glad to find somebody else with a crooked pilot house. And yes, I recommend you to get that air conditioner on captain. You will love it.You will never go back
@OutOnTheReef by the way any recommendations on a windlass and anchor. U have a install video? I lost an anchor ⚓️ last season plus my back is not allowing to manually bring up my anchor anymore. Palanté siempre!
@cityislandfish-adventures the lwemar 700 fish pro is been working great for me and I use a Delta imitation that you can get at amazon stainless for about $150 and it works amazing cap. Saludos
Skipp let's go halfies on that Island and create a deep drop lobstering camp, we'll bring all the yuppies from the main land and fleece them with 40 dollar fruity drinks. Once a year we'll hold a music festival and cover all our endz. We'll call it Out On The Reef music and arts fishing festival.
Always enjoy your videos of exploring the Bahamas. Just one critique though, you should try to avoid anchoring in the grass beds. It can take several months to a year or so to recover.
@marshallbrodie9974 very true cap. But the anchor was just laying on top amd not dug it since was no current But thank you for having a great way to think about saving our environment. You're awesome
@OutOnTheReef look around for some thick patches and see if that shrimp is hiding under it. It looks like the storms knocked everything down. If so start looking between where your sitting and the Atlantic ledge
@fishydubsfishing6516 I thought about that the other day but the water consumption would beat me to it, But I have another surprise coming up soon.Captain, I'm changing something on the boat. You would think it's an awesome Change
I have been really enjoying your videos. With all the long trips you do, I noticed that you don't have a kicker or auxiliary motor. Have you ever experienced situations when your main motor has not started? I am asking because I have a 2021 Yamaha F150, earlier this year, while fishing I turned off my main, and had trouble starting it. At the time, it had ~190 hours and turned out that the starter relay was going bad. Thankfully I was able to start it up and get back to my slip. After replacing the starter relay I've not experienced that again, but it just got me thinking about how you plan for these scenarios with longer trips? Thanks!
hello cap and i just replaced my engine 2 month ago and i have 25 hrs on it, the old one had 435 hrs and never gave me a problem, but i see your point cap. thanks for watching my channel cap.
Waking up to that dawn on a small boat with the warm air washing over you is an experience that few have.
We are lucky.

Looks good. I fully agree about cooking / preparing fish. Watch the bacon, though, you don't want to be Captain Cholesterol. LOL.

Captain what’s your method for pooping on board? I’ve seen toilet seats that fit on a standard five gallon bucket. That seems to be workable.

You say you have no spot for lobster. I’m looking at them rocks sticking up right in front of you. There’s gotta be a tunnel lobster in there.
need to check it out
coul dnot even daydream getting out of the boat in the middle of nowhere ..to be teased by land that never breaks through the surface.
