This was a fun video to listen to! I enjoy learning about the technical development of vehicles. And I learned a bunch here too :) I did not know that there were 'lost' hulls of the Porsche Tiger series. Interesting story for sure! I am glad to see that you are getting nicely settled in to your new place. I am in the same position now.
Hi Kai, it's very nice learning of Porsche's Tiger kits history. Perhaps, we've ever watched all of them, but few modelers wold done all.
Also, I know your deep insight, so it's very interesting building series. Looking forward to the next video. Have a good week end and stay safe my friend. Greetings, NOB
Thank you NOB. I do like to build vehicles that are linked to each other more than just building single sculptures : ) I hope I can build them in packs of 4 - if that works we will find out soon.
Hello, I'm modelist from Russia, you are cool Master, good luck!!!!
Nice to see you back. Great video and very informative. Thank you.
Thank you Monty. I#m looking forward to do some modeling again soon - the whole story has already taken too long : )
Hallo Kai.
The new apartment looks good with the display cases. Now onto Moscow!
Thanks mate! Looking forward to Moscow, but as a tourist : )
@@Tankbrusher Kubinka is waiting for you)) Although they now divided their tank collection between Kubinka itself and park "Patriot". Actually "ЦМВС" - Central Armed Forces Museum is also worth a try.
I kind of wish they would have stayed with Kubinka, Patriot Park is not worth visiting for me for the only reason: You can't get close to the vehicles. If I can't take pictures from all sides I don't go there. There is another Museum in Moscow, they have the only Autocanon SMK Typ 2 for example.
@@Tankbrusher You need to have a look at a fresh photos when you decide to trip to russia. Kubinka/patriot is constantly renovating. Rebuilding hungers, bringing more light, unfencing tanks etc. I've heard they removed USSR toilets :D
I was under the impression they are locking more and more stuff away behind barriers and fancy presentation plattforms : /
Great information Kai, and from what I can see the place is coming together nicely!
Thanks Ron! Sry mate, took me a while to get back to you on Patreon but now the stressfull part is finally over. My new place is a huge improvement, finally can get my work done and enjoy my hobby without one cutting into the other...
@@Tankbrusher no worries man, I have been busy and traveling myself, so no problem at all!
Thanks for the lection. I didn't know about "bergeferdinand" before)
Thanks for watching mate, glad I was able to show you something new!
Great explanation. Nice builds too. Thanks
Thank you Pete!
Nice video with great history and insights. Looking forward to your next. I always learn something.
Thanks Rick!
Good video! I wish there was a 1/48 porsche tiger
Glad you are now settled mate. Nice to see you up and running again.
How long until them display cases are full I guess 2 years? Place your bets now :)
Thanks Vas. I did plan for 2 to 4 years of space. there will fit a lot of stuff in once I start with the bases and diorama stuff.
Hi Kai nice to see you have settled in your new home, and great to see you back with this fantastic video with loads of information and great to see you mention the various kits available I have most of the Dragon kits still to be built that you mentioned. And also thanking you for mentioning the books I'm sure these are available here in the U.K despite being in the German Language. I recently picked up a great book on the Panther tank "Panzer V Panther" by Walter Spielberger & Hilary Doyle. again in the German Language but a great reference book. look forward to your next video. 👍😎
Thanks Paul. I'm still a fair bit away from doing modelling here again - stuff is still all packed and stored away but it is going along now. Spielberger books are great, I've got the complete collection of them the Panther and newer Panzer IV are some of my favorites. On the Panther, the one by Jentz is a very good supplement for the Spielberger one.
@@Tankbrusher Thanks Kai I'm learning more and more about the technical stuff which thanks to you for the encouragement and of course when you are ready will look forward to your next build. 👍😎
Just bought a 1/16 4501 P and need to change the turret roof. :P
That RC model? If so, it does need Zimmerit, it's trying to replicate the 003 command tank.
Just starting the baby,VK3601.
Excellent vehicle and kit. I did build/convert the revosys - it does sit around 90% done, need to come around finishing it soon.
@@Tankbrusher I built it when it first came out,I enjoyed the build but didn’t do it justice.Just finishing up second Panther with Rochm models detail set so should be a breath of fresh air, your build with 3D parts is what got my brain working.Probably the best proto panzer builds the 3001&3601.
Kai = Porsche Panzer Lehrer (PPL).
You know, if you keep that pink neon light on your VK4501's, I'm gonna call you a Girls und Panzer fanboii 😂
lol I guess Girls and Panzer is source of many misconceptions xD There is actually a rebox of the Italeri 45.01 in G&P style. xD
@@Tankbrusher Yeah) That is) My girl said: "this is a boy and a girl" when she saw vk 3001p and 3001h stay next to each other))
@@CatEatsDogs If they drive onto each other we end up with a VK16.02 ; )
