The only thing these Tigers have going for them is it changes up where you need to shoot. Many players will just shoot at the flat hull plate like usual, while the actual weak spot is the turret
well you know you are in fuckin trouble when you need to risk a shot at a tiger turret
I use half of my entire life , to shoot tiger turret , but it never penetrate frontal turret.. except the side
Turret is trolly, also turret neck is a good place to shoot or that massive cupola(if you have APHE)
i can confirm this; but i can also confirm that being in my Tiger's i've bounced more then got thwacked/destroyed. It just depends on the usual aim and the luck of the shell/shot sometimes.
I usually try to shoot the cannon barrel if I know I can't pen the hull for whatever reason. Cannon barrel>track then whatever is available for me to shoot at like the commander's hatch(if running aphe) or just drive to their side and shoot.
As Mexican, I find the 14:52 "scape to Mexico" joke F-ing hilarious, loved it

You can angle the Tiger P effectively when peaking around corners. Have one corner of the tank hidden behind the wall.
It's even more effective if you hide your whole tank behind the wall.

i have learned one thing about the porscha tiger its really good at angleing when next to solid cover you can go up to 400*mm of armor
If you cover that weak spot on the angle they can't do anything except go for the gun
So basically play it like light tank but also angle and you will be invincible

This is why the porsche tiger is good! With its frontal armor and electric transmission it can ve really effective. Even if you use the one with less armor you can use the engine as protection. Like you would do with the is-2.

Imagine if the tiger had sloped armour like the t34, that 100mm would turn into like 178mm, what a beast
It would’ve been 200mm exactly if it had a similar layout to T-34.

coming from WoT, thats the first thing I shot...but also had to loose the bad habit of aiming at lower plate. Got tired of destroying the transmission and get OSed back lmao

The background music in 8:44, as DOLLAR gets shot and got his turret ring damaged, the background music's BPM dropped or maybe the speed of the song slowed down. I dont know if it is DOLLAR's wonderful epic tiny detail editing but if so I really loved that since it cant just be a coincidence.

You did really well, given that your normal process is to angle, lots of those guns couldn't get through your front plate regardless. Was pretty dope.

Love seeing people play both this and the VK45.01 since most inexperienced players will shoot the Porsche tiger (command variant) and then be surprised when their 76mm Sherman or 17 Pounder doesn’t pen. Keep up the good work Dollar, love seeing people play tanks that’s rent talked about much in War Thunder. Porsche Tiger is my favorite tank ever only cause it’s such a weird idea for a tank but it’s cool cause of it being weird.

When playing this tank, I always place some bushes on the hull to make the enemy think that my hull is a normal Tiger 1's hull

One really good tactic that you can use is angling but hiding that corner plate via a building or tall rock. it'll hide the weak point on the other side while making sure all the rest of your armor is as thick as can possibly be. I've literally bounced some of the highest penetration rounds in the game by doing so

Been focused on naval battles for a few years and never caught on that you can change the torpedo run depths until I caught one of his vids. Now my interest in tank battles is rekindled.
