I'd LOVE to have opportunity one time to be present and possibly speak briefly with you at one of these type settings!! Your way of thinking through all these issues is superb and very respectful. I'm not saying hy any means you handle weakly some of the science based arguments for God, but so many these students want to use evolution as creation with no creator....
Point being: I've a MS in chemical engineering g w minors in biochemistry and polymer science, and I've worked R&D and prepared my collective education toward researching in pharmaceuticals. I see a large percent want to use "evolution is proven so we d9nt need god"....when it's not proven at all. I'd LLLLOOOOOVVVEEEE to be able to address them in dialogue by asking them how they think first life arose....which usually they have no idea though they "know" that it happened this way which is bad thinking.
I know very well the chemistry of life and what it can and WONT DO, most general public havent been told truth of abiogenesis and how ridiculously impossible of an idea it is to think life arose on it's own. I love discussing these things because I know the chemistry and have studied abiogenesis and worked in R&D, and give the people the truth of it, and how overwhelming the scientific evidence is from the data that life COULD NOT HAVE just "happened" via random chemistry....chemistry doesnt work that way not counting breaking all the thermodynamic laws and where the information comes from etc etc....
Would there be any way sometime into the future Lords will were still breathing that something could be set up where I could join you one day at a campus and listen/interact with you that day in discussion, so if someone goes there to evo. Creation being "proven", i can show how the science of that actually shows how impossible it actually is, not supports the theory at all with details of the chemistry and why.
Would you do something like this? I e watched these videos for years and itd be such an honor to be able to speak with you and just be there in person how you so near perfectly address these people exactly how they need on each individual's basis. Much respect to you brother for doing this....I'd love to be able to do a tiny part with you where it might offer someone something to think on that reveals truth to them about Jesus. Just one would make all the effort worth it.
Someone please respond to me if this could he possible at some point down the road please. Thank you and god bless

Truth is a person not an abstract idea. The Hebrew language was oriented toward concepts being personal like turning your eyes upward or your feet being brass, personal truth about being a human being, not abstract truth that conflates personhood relating to nature or the cosmos introduced by the abstract philosophy of the Greeks or Egyptians. Truth is a person, Jesus Christ, who said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life...”

During Passover celebration. You learn about what caused all of the plagues. The Egyptian pharaoh was threatened that his people were becoming minorities over the Jews. The Jews were in a separate area when all of this was going down. They were still slaves but lived out of Egyptian city in their own little village. The Jews were where spared for all nine plagues, except for one. The most powerful one to persuade Pharaoh to stop his evil which is the killing of the firstborn. The reason why God had to go to such extremes, is because the Pharaoh every couple years or so he would demand that all his soldiers would go into those villages and slaughter their firstborns, slaughter their children to control the masses. It was awful and downright evil. God had told Moses to follow instructions this 2 weeks plan to choose the perfect lamb or goat and to eat it the night before Passover and smear its blood on the door panels and on the mantle. Which represents a cross. Which also represents Jesus our Messiah in the future. The people who knew who told and talked about what is to come and happen to have great faith in God that he himself would not swipe away the firstborn is to do those instructions. When God has taken away all those firstborns were to those who did not believe and who rejected God. Yes it was tragic. People must understand that our children are suffering the consequences of unsaved people. For example people will be in a building. A person comes and says the building is going to fall down everyone evacuate. Those who believed in him and saw the signs left the building and they were saved. And those who are unfortunate to not believe that this building would fall. We're also stubborn enough to keep their children in thinking these people are crazy there's nothing to worry about. The building falls and all parish. We must accept that we are in a corrupt sinful world an hour job as a living being if to pass on to our children or to pass on to anyone must pass on the word of everlasting life. If not then they shall perish. Not with just our bodies but our souls. May God have mercy on us all May you follow Jesus Christ and have him knock on your door today. Amen

Cliffe Knechtle,Your video describes your god as having a just nature or character.
Given that personality traits are DESCRIPTIONS OF HOW ONE SENTIENT BEING BEHAVES TOWARDS ANOTHER,how is it possible that a pre-creation event god could have possessed the INTRINSIC personality traits often attributed to him?
Before the alleged creation event, where societal INTERACTIONS were a thing of the future, the very concept of such personality traits would have had no meaning whatsoever.
So Cliffe, how could personality traits such as a just nature possibly be described as being already part of your god's CHARACTER before the alleged creation event?

I know it’s a little late but hear it goes.
Such a trait is possible with the God of the Bible because God has always had the Son or the Word, and the Holy Spirit from the very beginning, now that’s not to say that particular trait was exercised before creation like love but it is possible because of the unique relationship Father God has with The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Not telling the full story in order to make God look bad...what would be that first guy's motives for doing that? Maybe just to get the spotlight off himself (even if only to himself) & his own imperfections. Not telling a story from the beginning, that's what the haters & runners always have to do, because if you include the beginning, it always starts off with the part that God is Perfect & humans were deceived & fell. The Egyptians first imprisoned Joseph wrongfully, read the story from there. The second Pharoah was annoyed at how the Israeli slaves were multiplying whereas his own people were languishing. In fear he had ordered them to expose their infants & not feed them. Moses was saved by his more compassionate daughter. When God's mighty angel executed Justice it was exact & tailor-made to Pharoah's crime against Israel's children, & because He can make you a new body, you don't have to fear God doing away with the first one. I bet those first born of the Egyptians just went painlessly to Paradise, & if they accepted the Saviour when He came from Golgotha to preach to the dead, they went to Heaven just like any Christian & were given a reward for their trouble on earth.

Here's another way to put that. Let's say you're going to jump out of an airplane. And you've got no parachute no experience jumping out. And the person who loves you is trying to save you and say hey man don't jump. Because as soon as you fall you're going to die. But if surely I tell you this parachute you can trust Jesus you can trust and he's going to save your life. Then that person who is going to jump turns to look at his friend who's trying to warn him then says you're fear mongering me. You're trying to brainwash me into thinking my way of this is wrong. I know exactly what I'm going to do. And I don't need a trust in your parachute aka your Jesus to do it. Clearly that friend is not fear mongering he's trying to save his life. That is what Christians are trying to do with the lost sheep. We are trying to save your life. But we also know that it is a choice. We're not going to scream at you or yell at you or anything we are going to hold your hand until you let go as it is your choice. And we will either watch you with that parachute or watch you jump without it. As much as we hurt inside to see you do without it. We also respect your free will as much as God does.

..... The attributes of Jehovah God🔸️You should know that the reason Moses introduced the God of authority, God of ability, and God of judgment, instead of the God of love was to give the law to the Israelites and protect and raise heavenly people with the law. It was to accomplish the will of restoration to drive them to the land of Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey.
🔸️Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey, was a place that could be entered only by the reborn people who had received the Ten Commandments and the law and carried the Ark of the Covenant in the wilderness. God gave His words to the Israelites who left Egypt in order to recreate them as God's people, but when they did not follow His words, He appeared to them as a terrifying God who struck and punished them.
🔸️The Old Testament Age, in which Satan reigned as the king, was an age of the devil's power until the appearance of the Messiah.
Jehovah God therefore appeared to Moses as the God of fear, God of revenge, and God of jealousy, and struck with the law the people who had become servants of sin and mercilessly punished the violators of the law.
This was the Old Testament Age.
🔸️If you look at the attributes of Jehovah God of the Old Testament Age, He was a jealous God who terrified worshipers of other gods, a cruel God who ordered the Israelites to exterminate the seven tribes of Canaan leaving no survivors, and a merciless God who slaughtered the Israelites who had violated the commandments and law.
🔸️Could the God of love, who created the universe, have the character to feel such jealousy, exact such revenge, instill such terror, and exhibit the cruelty to exterminate the seven tribes of Cana❓️
🔸️This happened because the Old Testament Age was an age when angels, as mediators, served in the role of God. The revengeful legalism that says "a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot, a burn for a burn, a wound for a wound, and a stripe for a stripe" cannot stem from the character of the Creator God. God is the God of love and forgiveness.
🔸️God appeared to Moses several times: in the burning bush on Mount Horeb where He called Moses and also at the top of Mount Sinai where He gave him the Ten Commandments. To this day we have not known that the God who appeared to Moses was an angel; but if you look in chapter seven of the book of Acts in the New Testament, it is recorded that He was an angel:
"Now when forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush... you who received the law as delivered by angels and did not keep it."
🔸️The Jehovah who appears in the Old Testament Age this way is an angel and not God. The Old Testament Age is the age of the servant, and God cannot appear as a father to a servant, because he is not a son. When Moses asks God for His name, He answers, "I am who I am" and tells him his name is Jehovah. But, when Moses stands in front of the people, he emphasizes that Jehovah God is the God of their ancestors, that is, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Jehovah is an angel.
🔸️Since the Old Testament Age was the age of the servant, God could not reveal Himself directly. In the Old Testament, did God tell them to fight or not to fight❓️
Do you know that Saul was punished because, after winning the war, he went against God's instruction to kill all the men❓️ Why do you think He did that?❓️
🔸️If men of the satanic world were spared, that world would invade again. He did it because the survival of the satanic men would preserve that system as they took wives and continued as they had before. Yet cutting off their lineage would end the system, as the women and children belonged to God's side. That is why He did this.
🔸️Saul was punished because his failure to act as instructed allowed the invasion of the heavenly nation by the worship of gentile gods and by all their adulterous customs.

I would say there are quite a few flaws attached to Christianity. One being this question of 'free will'. Lets say I am on the street and i am offering people a free can of soda. You are under no obligation to accept the free can, and if you take it, as i say, it's free. That is what i would call a free will choice. The choice is entirely free, no strings attached. However, with Christianity I would not say it's a free will choice, if I reject the offer of Christ it comes with a caveat, or condition, If I reject it, it comes with a stipulation that by rejecting it, you have condemned yourself to eternal damnation once you die. It seems clear to me at least that a certain amount of coercion is being used here to sway me towards accepting Christ. A little like a Mafia boss asking me if I want him to protect me. If i say "thanks, but no thanks".. there will be unfortunate consequences to me saying no. My 'free will' has a proviso attached.

***** Hi Kaz again, hope you are well my friend. Sin is a Christian concept as i see it. I don't believe in sin as such. Of course there is right and wrong, if we do wrong to somebody it's up to us to make amends to the person we've wronged. if it's a serious action, then we have laws which we must abide by, or we face the consequences, ie prison. You're not really answering my point concerning free will. Why can't I reject Jesus without being told I face eternal damnation when i die? My free will of not accepting Jesus is conditional it seems to me, which negates the free will. I can still be a good person and treat everyone with love and respect, but it seems I'm being told that I must accept Jesus or there will be dire consequences for me. Can't you see the coercion here? Always good to hear from you Kaz.

Cliffe failed to answer the question. If God is going to judge everyone who ever lived after they die, what's the point of anybody doing anything to make this world better? To try to make this fallen world more like heaven? The same world he will ultimately destroy? Talk about an exercise in futility! No matter what amount of good anybody does to help the world, benefactor and beneficiary will burn for eternity if they don't accept Jesus. According to the Bible, humanity will never be good enough for God's taste. If you sacrificed your every waking moment helping those in need, it would never be good enough for God.
We could potentially have a world where everyone helped everyone but no one accepted Jesus. This thearictical altruistic world would be a perpetual Hell machine! So once again...other than accepting Jesus, what's the point of doing anything?

    • @scabw

+1stOnehere //What's the point of anybody doing anything to make this world better?//
The point is love: "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit" (1 John 4:7-13).
And we are to be the light of the world: "“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:14-16).

So that's all you got to do is love and you get to go to heaven? Do you really think humans wouldn't know love if God didn't love us? God could just as easily created us for kicks and doesn't truly love us at all. The truth is people have no choice but to love. From birth we begin the process of learning to love. This first love that we all experience is shaped and nurtured by the attention and care of family. Unless your a person who has mental disorders, you have no free choice in the matter of learning to the human trait of love. It's in your DNA. Tell me one report of one person that choose as a toddler, not to love there parents. Once this first love manifest (which you have no free will to stop) it becomes second nature. You begin to love other around you who don't have to do as much as your parents to warrant it. Then you grow up and start the process with your children.
I know my answer is not fanciful and awe inspiring but it's the truth as I see it.

1stOnehere You are drifting from the original question.
//So that's all you got to do is love and you get to go to heaven?/
No. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, for he is the way and the truth and the life, and no one comes to the father except through him. His substitutionary atonement for our sins made it possible for humans to be in the presence of a holy, perfectly good God who is without blemish and without sin. Love is a fruit of being filled with the Holy Spirit. And if you don't love then that's a sign that you are not in Christ, and therefore not saved.
//Do you really think humans wouldn't know love if God didn't love us?//
It doesn't say that, does it?
//God could just as easily created us for kicks and doesn't truly love us at all.//

//Unless your a person who has mental disorders, you have no free choice in the matter of learning to the human trait of love. It's in your DNA. Tell me one report of one person that choose as a toddler, not to love there parents. Once this first love manifest (which you have no free will to stop) it becomes second nature.//
If God is love, and if God is the creator of mankind (and also animals), then shouldn't we expect that his creation is filled with love? But sadly, people (and also angels) do sin and mess the creation up, and they act against what love commands. People freely choose to not love one another all the time, which is sin, a transgression against God.

+bonnie43uk many people can't imagine that other sentient beings have the ability to love. Frogs, sharks, birds, apes and many others species possess the love trait. We are constrained by are limited humanistic imagination. We think we are the end all be all of life on Earth. The truth is life and love will live on with us or without us. I'm just glad to here to experience the beauty and splendor of the world we live in.

+Nathan Kruz How is it false doctrine that you need to repent???? Are we supposed to continue to sin?

+Nathan Kruz Repentance is something that WILL happen at the time of being saved. You cannot have true saving faith without repentance. They are different sides of the same coin.

+Jeremiah Nortier If that's true, then maybe God would not want us to cure cancers then if he's deliberately put cancer here because of mans sin. He might be furious that we're curing cancer.

If we find any 'cure' for cancer it will be temporal because things are looking worse and worse. God, by his grace, may allow us to discover these remedies but know this if He didn't want us to discover something...we wouldn't lol

    • @bonnie43uk
      @bonnie43uk 8 років тому

Jeremiah Nortier well, we *have* found cures for many types of cancers, it's not the fatal disease it once was, if detected early there is a very good chance you will beat it. You say things are getting worse and worse, actually, that's not really true, people live longer nowadays, there is less war happening in the world than at any time in living memory. If you focus on the bad things that do happen, yes, it may well seem that way, but as i said, it's not actually the case. And as i said, we can cure a lot of the ills that used to kill millions of people years ago.

I don't think cliffe knows what the hell he is talking about. Brainwashing was brilliant, Cliffe just describe religion. Your parents intimidated you as a child to not play in traffic and look both ways. Cliffe was defeated by this college student using cliffes own words against him.. Cliffe claims to know things about god that he couldn't possibly know unless he was outside of space and time too.
