Good explanation re: how to know if your intonation is correct - "blending of the sound" I like to demonstrate to my students the understanding and feeling that the sound lands on the ear whole and round. Also, the kinesthetic understanding of hand positioning amd visual feedback. Having said all of that, its a 'lifetime work in progress '
@@fordjubilee my bro there is a trick, think if a lion enters into your room right now, you will rememer that moment for the rest of your life because of how it made you feel now take a virtual piano, put a drone on C from youtube, and play each note of the scale paying attention on the feeling each one generate and how each one is different from each other. When you start noticing those feelings, name them from 1-7. And now (not now because is not instantly xd) you can replicate that feeling when thinking on the number of the scale (and yes, they are different, very dinstinct from each other, but feels exactly the same on each major tonality) After that, you will be playin exactly as always (actually more relaxed and with better tone because a lot of mental work wouldnt be needed) but your hand will be trying to recreate those feelings

I didn't get why think like that. Couldn't you tell if it's in tune or not just by listening to the beating between the two notes?

If someone were to walk in front of the pianist, she would challenge them to a battle.
