It looks like a good product. Hopefully it holds up over time. The instructions included the Danco are hilarious- it tells you if your existing flange is broken to replace it first before installing this. That's literally the whole point of the product!
This looks like exactly what I need to fix my solvent welded flange that is cracked. Also seems like it would be ideal for new construction as a good measure add on. Great video. Thanks.
I'm ready to give this a go. I'm worried about drilling through my tile into the plywood subfloor. Any type of drill, drill bit, screws, etc I should use? I don't want to shatter the tile. I have an impact driver and a standard drill/driver.
Mine is done. Too easy. I did elect to use shorter wood screws and my wax seal did not have that rubber piece with it. I wonder if that is something that contributed to the compression issue you noted.
The Danco ...Did not work at all...the extra height caused the toilet to rock...followed instructions to the letter...the $5 stainless steel overlay type worked like a charm

Best part is you can easily remove the toilet ( to paint behind) without breaking the seal. These work very well

Great video. Thanks.
Glad I could help. Yes, this flange should take care of cracked flange. Thanks for the comment and have a great day!
Thanks, this is just a video we were looking for!
I put my ne flange on cockeyed, already glued, so this was an easy fixer for me

Use a tapcon screw
This is a great explanation. Thank you. If I have a wood floor, what size and length screw do I use to screw it down?
Do you use a hammer/impact drill to screw the HS flange fixer into ceramic tiles?
Yes, use a hammer drill if going through tile or concrete. You will probably use a tapcon screw to attach. Tapcon screws work great on masonry
Did it work? Also i seen where people say use only a plain wax seal without the rubber
I would agree to not use the rubber. Good point.
thanks!

they make plastic washers to hold the Johnny bolts in place while setting the toilet. ( time stamp at 11:40 )
great video!!
Do you put this on top of the old corroded flange? Thanks!
How does it fix a flange? Mines uneven. So it sits on top of the wax ring and you level it out from there?
I’m also on top of tile and concrete subfloor
I don't have the iron ring , can I cover the vax on the pipe directly .?
How do you screee this in if you have concrete instead of wood
Use a masonry bit to drill holes into the concrete then use Tapcon screws to attach the danco replacement flange
Directions say those wings are supposed to be 3/8"off the floor. I have never done this just wondering
Thx.
It looks like it’s hire do you have to shim the toilet now ?
Your fired
@@pineapplepissantyou’re fired two.
i gotta bust your chops for using ryobi when you're decked out in dewalt
That's OK. We have a mixed assortment of tools around here. The Ryobi stuff has performed pretty good for us over the years. Have a good day!

Nothing worse than music playing as someone is talking. ESP in a video you’re trying to follow every word
Please be aware of your camera position and don't place you body between camera and your work. Doing so makes your video professional!
YOU DOING TOO MUCH THIS VERY SIMPLE!!!!! YOU JUST SET THE HYDRO FLANGE ON TOP ITS DONE NO WAX IS NEEDED!!!! IT HAS A SEAL!!!!!
The Danco instructions say to use the wax ring like he did except just wax and not the one with the cup.
