A leap back into photography after a few years out, this time with a difference
Before I lost my passion it was all about the mega pixels and sensor size, and I became all consumed with getting "the shot", instead of enjoying the location, the walk, the company, this time however its different, its about the adventure and going back to the beginning, relearning film in 35mm, 120mm medium format and 4x5 large format.

Music is very distracting it's hard to listen to what you have to say.

I have come accross the odd video with no music and it's much better

You really really really need a microphone. Either that or kill the music and learn to never turn away from the camera.
Alternatively, learn sign language. Photography is a visual medium, after all!
😂 thanks Michaelshrck5099, I have a wireless go which normally works really well, but failed me on that day, so had to resort to my back up which is a shotgun mic… clearly need to invest in a updated version for the wireless go or DJI mic system… sign language is a good shout also 😂
Great shots, don't worry about the water noise on the video, it's part of the scenery. Mind you the music isn't and not required in my openion

Are you shooting the video in LOG but didn't apply a LUT in the post process?
I have to admit, it was the first time using DaVinci resolve and on a new IPad, I normally use Premiere on my MacBook using a monitor when grading V-Log footage, it looked fine on my IPad, but just watching some on my iPhone and I does look a little washed out… will have to do some more practice grading on my iPad

Thanks IainHC1, unfortunately my wireless go let me down so had to resort to my back up which is a shotgun mic, I might have to invest in a new system, I was looking at the DJI version but keep spending all my money on film instead 🫣

I think you missed an opportunity there to showcase the tree in its environment, instead of a close up portrait? It could be any tree anywhere... so not really telling a story. Not sure what lenses you have.... why didnt you include the whole pool of water and so the reflection isnt cut off? Compositionally, its too tight and unbalanced.
Music is way too loud. Keeps blocking out your speech.
