I have no intention of buying these because they’re way out of my price range but I still watch this video about once/twice a week on my lunch break just to watch this dude absolutely slay these drums! I wish I was half as good as this!

The Hammered Bronze Supraphonic complements the kit quite nicely!
When you consider this doesn’t appear to be close miked, the low end on the toms is amazing.
I have this same kit with the 24 in bass drum, this kit rattles the pictures on the walls. Low end is ridiculous on these things.

these have a huge presence. these are just like the ludwig keystone, but reborn and given that usa ludwig flair! especially with this beautiful finish. this kit sounds like a bonham kit!

Sooo much punch. The drums alone have such a nice punch and clean low tone. I'd imagine in a mix the attack would definitely come through the most. I want this in a 13x9 tom 16x16 and 18x18 floors and 24x14 bass. Basically drum tuned low but still with tone and Tom's tuned medium high. With coated heads and medium tuning I'd imagine this city would CUT. I'm saving for cymbals first probably a bit thicker cymbals maybe AAX or As that are medium or heavy because I crack small thin cymbals. That paired with these drums and either a standard 14x5 wood snare or a piccolo snare with dry but high tuning would be perfect for me. I'm saving up I'm 17 I've been drumming all my life. But I gotta buy damned tires first so I dont die lmao

This is it. This is the kit I want. Never had a kit speak to me before as much as this one does.
I felt literally the same thing as you. I've watched this countless times and each time I was equally amazed by the sound of these drums. There are two more sets that stunned me - Pearl Masters Maple/Gum (different sound, but also impressive) and Yamaha Live Custom.
Ludwig is incredible. Made in the USA!! The Classic Oak has tons of options from sizes to lugs, bearing edges now as well as colours!
I have a Ludwig Keystone X kit (same shell as the Classic Oak with fewer options as far as sizes) and they're amazing
@@rainsong7327 Classic maple warmer and slightly more resonant. Classic oak has more attack and low end.
I always wanted a set of Ludwigs made from OAK. They sound really good to me and thats without really good heads on them.
It's hard to conceive how those drum can sound like they're being played in a stadium. It's insane.
Hell yeah...I come hear to see these amazing chops and the drummers never fail to disappoint with their grooves.

This demo is more musical than most drum solos I've heard. And not played on some monster kit, just a 4 piece and single kick pedal.

I love the idea and look of oak but when I've played Yamaha oak sets I was very underwhelmed.
Yamaha uses pure oak and puts in a synthetic polymer ply so their shells sound a lot more attack-y and dry compared to this shell which is Oak and Maple.
The yamaha oak kits are great for fusion and heavier styles of music but I have the ludwig kit and can play just about anything with it.
Keystone ?
They do sound different. I think they would sound even better tuned up for jazz
I have one and it can do more energetic Buddy Rich type big band but might have too much punch for more mellow or free jazz.
Very musical drummer. I like the classic oaks/keystones. They're pricing themselves out of the market though. Same is happening with the classic maples.
How? These aren't very expensive for what they are, especially compared to other top brands
Ambassadors or Emperors?
They are pretty clear, so they gotta be emperors.. Ambassadors have a hazy appearance. They come stock on classic maple kits, I assume this kit as well.
