Probably 3 generations tried to cancel this guy. He is the GOAT for that.
A month later they trying again
So true
Amen 🙏
The fcc and the fbi tried to cancel him and they lost in court 🤣 u think some kids are gonna be able to cancel him...hell just make a song about it 🤣
These offended things got to try harder 30 years after they still trying them/it will never do it 😂😂😂😂😂
This generation knows Lose Yourself Eminem. Us old folks know Slim Shady!
Facts
FUCKING FACTS !!!!!!!! They are 2 different people 😂😂😂😂😂
Back when shops were still slingin casettes! Damn, I miss that old D12 record
@@faultycommodity man I was just listening to Devils night and Instigator the other day.
If you grew up with rock bottom and kill you, then you are impervious to the weak bullshit people are on these days.
I have found gen z listening to Eminem. I know what I'm doing for the next 6 hours
Same. So fucking funny. We were blasting this at 10 years old
Yup! 😂😂😂
Yes!!
preach! work is about to flyyyyyyyy
Wait til they get to I'm back and the j lo line
Eminem been talking crazy nearly 30 years now and no matter what they haven't been able to cancel him. Has millions of fans from people in their 70s to teenagers so it is impossible.
If if he ever says anything about Jews tho guarantee he’s cancelled instantly and loses millions of dollars
And this is the secret. Cancel culture is just a majority of people saying "You suck" in unison. "They" can try to cancel anybody "they" want. But at the end of the day it's still capitalism. Dollars talk.
They had this man at the Super Bowl halftime show in the last few years and he’s got a whole album like this song lmao
Shady is the South Park of the rap game
And we love him for that
FACTS! HAHA
We grew up on Shady. The world needs Shady now more than ever. Everyone is far too damn soft.
True facts
41 year old over here...had this CD back in the Day and when everyone was freaking out over Houdini...I was like "haven't you heard Kill you?"
Houdini is TAME.
42 checking in. I can't wait till my young boys start listening to rap at some point. "that ain't rap, listen to this" and put on the Marshall Mathers LP.
My 11 year old likes Ice Cube...that was a proud dad moment
@BettyGoBooom it's a good song, but yeah, don't see why it is upsetting people
As someone who is a teenager at the time of this album being released, you have no idea how great it feels to see you reacting to this. It's the closest I will ever come to hearing this album for the first time again
THIS… is the reason I watch reaction videos repeatedly, it’s the closest thing I’ll ever get to reacting to it for the first time.
Facts i was 7 when i bought this album is secret because my mom wasnt having it and i fell in love with this record. That was such a amazing time. Mom tripped tho when she found the album in my walkman😂
@@onlyrealhiphop4637 My mother took all my CASSETTE TAPES that had explicit lyrics stickers on them when she found a notebook of rhymes I was writing with some really obnoxious lyrics when I was 10. It was before Eminem tho. This was in like 1992-1993. Luckily by the time Em was out I was old enough to buy my own CD'S LOL. I feel so old
Dude even the gay community went after him lol
Agreed i bene doing same lol
I feel so old knowing that a lot of people in their 20’s have never heard any of his old stuff
Casually rapping this in class. Ugh. The good old days
Same here , and to think that people actually say he suck’s … Eminem /shady are gold .
IDGAF what anyone says - Eminem is a friggin' genius!
Same
Watching dudes in 20s being shocked. I was 13 rolling around town with my walkman rapping along 😂
The song is a satirical portrayal of himself because the media was blaming him for violence the same way that they did with video games in the late 90s and early 2000s
And they blame it on Marylin and the heroin!!!
This album was one of the best releases of all time. I believe it sold 1.7 million copies the first week. 25 million total. My favorite album of all time. GOAT!
I think closer to 40M globally..
It's the 2nd best selling hip-hop record of all time I believe. That and eminem show and 2 and 4. Next to outkast biggie and Nas I believe
@@Spectrum0122 its the top selling album of all time in hip hop n actually by agh land slide !! no ones even close to this!!
outcast, pacs hits, biggie those are all double disced so one purchase counts as two sales!!
I have been a em fan since 97 I was 17 now I'm old and still luv Marshall
@@kingelingendingen4358And now that he just released his new album, people are backtracking and finding out that Eminem has been sick with the lyrics for 25 years and now the album sales are going to go up even more!! I absolutely love that the younger generation is going to relive what we experienced for the first time every time he released an LP.
Todays generation cannot handle the Em we grew up with.... and they say "Houdini" is hard... 🤣
Houdini is just slim dipping his toe in testing the temp of the water, he’s just getting started.
Yup! He had the President trying to ban him back then. I love it
Lol yep. "Ohhh he wrong for dissing Megan Thee Stallion....he needs to be canceled!" Like, what??? You all thought THAT was a diss?? The same guy that wrote "Kill You" just to clown on the industry??
Sit tf down and eat your crayons.
@@russelllong2974I’m hoping that’s true.
@GhostWatcher2024 man, if they think kill you is bad then steer clear of Kim and '97 bonnie and clyde 😂
As a 48 yr old mother of four, I was quite shocked at just how many of the words I know to this song 😅
My mom is now 55 and I'm 30. we listened to eminem on repeat. If you're one of the moms that bumps this with the kids, your a real one.
This was the golden era of Shady.
Yep. It was.
What do you call now, then. The platinum era?
Eminem is not just a rapper, he’s a comedian, which is what makes him original and very talented
He's highly influenced by Redman, who is also a hilarious rapper.
Hi I’m her som
It’s only been 30 secs into the Eminem song he already spitting crazy😂😂😂
For context, after the success of The Slim Shady LP Eminem was a lightning rod for controversy. He was criticized by Conservatives for vulgarity, entertainment media for dissing celebrities, feminists for being misogynist, LGBTQ activists for being homophobic, the rap community for being white, and got sued by his mother.
He followed up with the Marshal Mathers LP. There was big anticipation since The Real Slim Shady single was release a month prior. Kill You was the first song on the record and was basically a double middle finger to all his critics.
Everybody is a gangsta … until the quiet one in the room starts humming this …
😂😂😂😂 facts
No one can tell me otherwise, Eminem Is HANDS down the best lyricist that's been born of this century! You can't tell me otherwise!
It is true. The reason is because he had an unlimited vocabulary. Can you imagine any other rapper talk about putting his Guinea pig in a microwave because his mom
Took his bike away?
Technically he was born in the last century.
Aesop Rock
Bro, broaden your horizons
@Sakatirinja im with ya, however ems wordplay, flips, schemes fucking everything is great and everyone can get something out of em, where as aes is so fucking complicated, i love rap and how the words fit but i need a fucking 10 yr scholar to explain aes lyrics to me while im reading along.
Tldr, em is more easily digestable
one of my favorite em songs! “you don’t, wanna fuck with shady (why?) cause shady, will fucking KILL YOU.” fire reaction as always! 🔥
Looks like you discovered Shady. It's the Em we had 30 years ago. All y'all young bloods know is Eminem. Dont wake the beast.
Eminem was pure savage back then OMG love the video keezy stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
Love him or hate him, no one can deny the man is a rap legend. The way he weaves words together is unparalleled.
Watching all of the younger people react to the greatness of Eminem is awesome. I grew up with Em. He will always be the GOAT. 🐐🔥🔥 Great reaction! 😁🙏
And now you know why GenX can't be f'ed with. Em was our soundtrack for life.
Gen x and early millennials ***
Nobody can compare to his LYRICAL ARTISTRIC BRAIN
This is one of my favorite Em songs ❤ I was a teenager when this album dropped. I used to say, "You don't wanna fuck with Jodi, cause Jodi will fn kill you." 😂😂😂
Bro I used to say the same thing with my name 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dre always getting overlooked in Em's old stuff but regardless of how dark the lyrics are, Dre always got you bouncin for real!
I'm just glad I grew up to Em. Listen to alot styles but def long stretches where Em cd didn't come out the cd player in HS. Crazy people still getting to enjoy his greatness.
When he talks about the radio shows inviting him on to argue with them cause their ratings stink... You should watch his 1999 Howard Stern interview. He also refers to this interview subliminally in "The Way I am" when he says "keep askin the same fuckin' questions, what school did I go to , what hood i grew up in"
Yeah, Howard was being mad disrespectful that interview. Eminem damn near looked like he was bout to cry.
Man, listening to all this stuff but from his live concerts is on a different level, im tellin u🔥
The Up In Smoke Tour - Watch it all the time to this day 😂
bro, i gotta say, its so much fun seeing you have so much fun with ems music haha
1st lol. I vibe with you on your reactions. Can you PLEASE do Eminem’s most underrated verse (song) that every reactor sleeps on. D12- shit on you
I’m just playing Diddy, you know I love you
Another great reaction! Slim Shady really is crazy, lol!
Thanks gang 🔥 and facts yo 😂
Nostalgia at an all time high with every Eminem reaction video!!
This is definitely my favorite track on this album. His cadence is out of this world!
I remember hearing this when it first came out back in the day - I was laughing so hard I couldn't get off the sofa.
i love slim, i love how there is zero chill with slim and it's just full on pedal to the floor the whole song
Pedal to the floor verbal violence 🤣🤣🤣 I love it!!!!!!
Hope we get this Slim for the rest of the new album, Houdini was so TAME. I need the real Slim Shady not some watered down version.
BANGIN' LIKE A BISCUIT!
Love the reaction ❤
You need to do a deep dive on the Slim Shady LP and the Marshall Mathers LP. There is not a single song on those albums that miss.
This man really gets it. Respect
Cold wind blowssss!!!!
really enjoyed your reaction😂😂❤❤❤
It brings me joy to see youngins appreciated the GOAT. This is my young adolescent years. Raised by shady
I had a youngin ask why congress would get involved in an artists career, I pointed him to this song as an example.
This wild that it’s your first time hearing this but I’m happy for it man real talk.
Em is the GOAT! From a generation when your feeling didn't fucking matter. Lol
Sick in bed binging on 1st reactions to my fav album that came out when I was 11!!!
Absolute goat
I love blasting this song out my car when Im riding around, windows down, sound up :D
It's simple but complex at the same time one of my favorites
You have phenomenal video audio quality. Earbuds in and I've watched like 4 reaction videos all at different volumes and none had super clear music audio, yours is so clear at any volume. Idk what set up you got but you doing things right brother 💯💙 edit; my earbuds are quality not cheap crap. So that speaks volumes in itself; ha ha get it; levels to my steament sometimes lmao 😂
G shit. OG em was something to witness. i remember the morning hi my name is dropped on mtv. was insane.
😂😂 gotta think Dr. Dre had the same reactions the first time he heard the song. What a legend the young angry Em was 🤣
This man’s Em reactions are priceless!
He was on the soundtrack for Scary Movie 2 with Royce da 5'9 back in 98. Bad meets Evil Scary movies
😂 this my fav song of all time as a kid growing up to him was so crazy in a the best way !!!
I love this song 😍❤
"Imma pull to this bullet and put it through you" 🔥🤘🏼
"Why's he coming so toxic"... you're just scratching the surface. had me cracking up with the "vile venomous" part haha
Scary movie by Eminem is another great one
Eminem the best.
I was 16 when i first heard this, really shaped my personality for life 😅 2024 im 39 and Eminem is still going, great time to be alive 💯
The marshal mathers lp was my first ever cd I know this song word for word
“Slim Shady” is savage. When he’s Marshall he doesn’t go berserk. He used to rap as Slim and then Emenim
I love that you youngins' can appreciate this art of rap that Eminem has mastered better than anyone anywhere anytime dead or alive
This album came out when I was 12 😂 copped the cd the first day and bumped it religiously, our generation is not soft 💪🏼
No one can do it better with the multi syllabic rhymes, this song is a perfect choice to showcase his lyrical ability.
Slim shady in his prime.
Memories .... ahhhh
Bro, this is what my folks grew up on!
The I’m just playin line is brilliant cuz it lets him off the hook
This album blew my mind as a kid and made me like rap and hip hop… still remember this track had me hooked! He changed music just like Elvis did! Eminem the goat of hip hop
Seeing reactions to songs from my teens is painful but im glad yall are learning about OUR Eminem!
Dat beat goes hard AF
It’s the beat by Dre that is fueling this rhyme. Shits crazy! What other rapper could have rhymed over this beat back then?
I rapped this jam lyric by lyric in the school bus in 5th grade 🔥🔥
best ever
This shocked me big time when it first dropped. Still thought it was sick and that was what 23 years ago. The GOAT
This one is a classic
Im 30 this year and my music these days is mainly metal. But i still have mad respect for Em. Man is the GOAT and this song was around when i was about 5/6 years old. I grew up with all aspects of early eminem. He made a statement and then some with this track
I was in high school when this album was released. I was smiling ear to ear listening to this song. I must have listened to it 3-4 times in a row before I moved to the next song, and it’s the first one on the album! Arguably Em’s best album, probably close or tied to The Eminem Show.
Shadys alliteration is hands down Second to NONE !!!
this song is straight fire horrorcore! thats what i loved about old slim shady!!
45 seconds in.... nah. Bro is definitely not ready 😂
I grew up on this man here! 💜
I was listening to this entire album in the 6th grade... ah good times
Shady a real one .. story telling lyricist
Eminem is just one of those people who will never be canceled🤌
I'm glad this new gen is going back to check out Em's catalog. He truly is one of a kind artist
My fav song oat the hook abt his mom always gets me hype and the his first words they say I can’t rap abt that because now he’s rich but it’s shady and he dgaf which is even funnier cause it’s his first song in that album and then the hook is so good one of the best hooks oat and then my personal fav verse in all of rap his 2 verse and it’s j a perfect song dude the best everything
It cracks me up watching gen z react to these are my favorite reaction videos we grew up on this
😂 this my fav song of all time
Okay, but that "serial killer hiding murder material in a cereal box on top of your stereo" scheme is one of my favorite on the album
Little did I know that hearing this over 20 years will still give me quality entertainment from the younger generation listening to this today
Seen the juice poster, instant sub 💪💪💪🙌🙌🙌 #999
I swear as a kid me and all my siblings/friends knew these lyrics by heart…😂
This is great. You react like Hamilton reacting to his son. Wholesome.
I was 14 when this came out. Fucking amazing experience
This was how I developed conflict resolution in my formative early teen years. Shit was wild back then.
This was the opening song to his second album. First thing people heard after he exploded the world with the first album. And everyone was suing him and acting wild. This is how he told the world what the fuck was up. The most significant cultural moment of my life probably. This album changed history forever.
