    Scott,
    I just wanted to say a few words that you are one of the best UA-cam creators I have ever seen on motorcycles. I have watched all your videos and you really are the best in all aspects that include high quality videos, clear explanation and an indescribable relaxation from your personality. You honestly deserve more and more views and subscribers, but I am confident that you will rise very quickly by continuing at this level. Have you ever considered introducing Scooters? For example, Honda PCX, Forza 125/350, Yamaha Nmax, Xmax 125/300, etc. I am very convinced that there are a large number of people who are very interested in this type of models. You probably don't like scooters in general, but it certainly has a public interest.
    Thank you very much for your effort in providing us with new videos with the latest models explaining all the features at once while entertaining us.

      Thank you, I am humbled by your words.
      I've been considering doing some scooters, it's not that I don't like them it's just that I'm not sure I'll get very many views, although it may attract a different audience, younger, and I usually get comments from the young guys that I talk way too slow. So I'm kind of cautious when thinking about 125, 300, 400...etc. See the problem is also that each video that I do takes about 25-30 hours, so I'm really wasting my time on a video that gets only 10,000 views. This is what I fear about a scooter. But I'll give it some more thought over the winter and maybe come spring...I'll take a look :)
      Thank you once again and it's for guys like you that I started doing this channel,
      take care,
      Scott

      @@NothingToProve I think that talking slow isn't a problem. Not everyone can be Busta Rhymes. If someone thinks you talk too slow they can change the playback rate to 1.5 and voilà. We come for content and in the world where everything is rushed and must be immediate it's nice to see and hear your calming approach. Your videos are great 👍

    You're having fun riding! Thanks for doing your F900XR videos, you helped me decide on a 2021 F900XR, rode it home 2 weeks ago, parked and waiting for spring! Tried the Tracer 900 triple, but really like the BMW parallel twin feel and sound. Replaces my MT07.

    Nice video, as always Scott. To be honest, when myself and the family passed through Geneva on a European holiday a few years back, we were excited about it (maybe it was the "Lake Geneva Shoreline" from the hard rock song of my generation which was bigging up the romance of the ocassion) but, and apolgies to the Swiss viewers or affiliates, we thought it was a bit of a dump. Sorry to be unsophisticated and blunt but that was the family verdict.

    Great ride, beautiful scenery, I can’t wait to be able to ride again next year. There is one thing though, what on earth is your pal getting his bike “up to temperature” for? The engine heats up much quicker on the road, you’re just wasting petrol idling the bike. If you were about to race on a track, I’d agree, but for street bikes, this is completely unnecessary (and that’s not an opinion, but a fact).

    I liked it a lot! What app have you used to see the route that you have been doing? Thanks.

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  3 роки тому

      Ah, it's not an app, it's a full map animation program that is way to expensive (300 euros) in fact I regret buying it. I should have just did a snap shot of google maps and draw a line on that. But since I spent 300 on it, I wanted to use it in the videos.
      Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you! Ah, 2 hours on the stock seat and 5 hrs on the comfort seat. Cause after just 4 days of riding 10 hrs a day is all I could take on this, and after that all I wanted was to not get back on it. I did a 10 day trip with this and when I got home I did not ride it again for over 3 weeks. Just could not look at it and think, "oh, I want to go for a ride".
      ride safe,

    Looks like you had an awesome time, thanks for sharing Scott! So question on the ride: Do you think you had a better time on the F900XR than you would have had on the Duke?

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  4 роки тому +1

      Well, the SDR IS more fun, period. In fact I believe the SDR is about the most fun that one can have on a street legal bike, on the street. With that said, yes, the SDR is more fun but after a few hours in the saddle the noise, vibration, no wind protection, tight suspension...etc. get's old and that is where the 900XR becomes more fun & enjoyable for the longer rides.

  • @jorgsteinberg6160
    @jorgsteinberg6160 3 роки тому

    Are you using the original seat, or did you replace it? Just asking because of the very long ride you did. I heard the original would be quite hard.

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  3 роки тому

      On this trip, I still had original, now I have the comfort seat, it's way better...I ordered it before I went on this trip but it came 2 weeks after I got back from the trip...figures!

      @jorgsteinberg6160 3 роки тому

      @@NothingToProve Thanks. I heard it in your other Video now. Are you satisfied with the BMW comfort seat? I wonder whether the Wunderlich seat is maybe even better.

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  3 роки тому

      @Jörg Steinberg I have not tried the Wunderlich as of yet, not even seen one but other guys say that they are great too. And price is about the same so it really comes down to which one "floats your boat" 😁
      edit: oh yea, very happy with it too

  • @barrykrakovsky756
    @barrykrakovsky756 4 роки тому

    Is that the stock seat or the Comfort seat? And if it's the stock seat I'm curious how it and you are holding up after all those hours in the saddle.

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  4 роки тому +1

      That is the stock seat and it really got hard by the 3rd day and by the 9th day I was really sore and glad to get off the bike. Now I have the comfort seat and it's much better. So I'll have the comfort seat for the next trip :)

    • @barrykrakovsky756
      @barrykrakovsky756 4 роки тому

      @@NothingToProve Thank you for replying. For my next bike I've narrowed it down to the Triumph GT Pro 900, the BMW that you ride, and the 2021 Yamaha Tracer 9 GT. I was curious about how the stock seat performed on the BMW, although I can't say I'm surprised. Keep up the good work. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos.
