i would love to buy a wheel and bucket seat and brake for 2grand they are incredibly expensive. before i get any backlash there are parts for that cheap out there it’s just i want specific brands lmao
@jonasforsberg8199 They’re smaller and lighter, so you can feel the road slightly better due to less leverage. Pretty pointless though to remove the steering wheel and airbag unless you’re seriously racing.

There are half decent buck seats you can get from junk yards and shit. As long as you get belts and can hold yourself in and your car doesn't have to.much power you can use one. I did plus it was a little more comfy.
Coilovers, get used tires, drift in the rain to start out so you dont burn as much rubber and arent as hard on parts. Strip as much weight as possible without ripping the dash out so you dont have to worry about wiring and shit like that. Seats are preference. Steering wheel is even more so preference than a seat. You dont need an ebrake to drift if you learn proper weight transfer and know the line. An ebrake is a total crutch.
If you wanna drift a z first thing you should do is weld the diff unless you have the lsd.. I wouldnt even say you need coilovers to start, seat for sure or your ass is gonna slide all over the place. You dont need an aftermarket handbrake to start out. Steering wheel if you dont like the Zs but its fine for me. Id get a plenum spacer and the larger tb, its a pretty big improvment to the throttle respone.
I’d get a summit racing seat for $100 Sport springs on bilsteins $1200 Bushings $350 Tires $1000 E brake setup $400 Aftermarket harmonic balancer $200 Upgraded rad and fan $1 million dollars
1k on coilovers 275 on bucket seat then 1200 on fdf mantis angle weld the diff and 650 on a clutch and light weight flywheel and 150 on test pipes then get a tune you dont need a hydro just learn to drive it
Being planted and having control is very important. The old leather z33 steering wheels are pretty slick and the seats are good, but not great for a track
I know absolutely nothing about drifting I’m not really into it even tho I have RWD but the idea that you need steering wheel, seat and handbrake is absolutely re*arded. Nothing to mitigate the traction, so no new slicker more durable tyres? Nothing to mitigate the constant high rpm that’s going to heat your engine badly, nothing that will help with air intake when you’re at high rpm but not moving fast? Guy knows NOTHING

First thing I always do is handling mods to handle any go fast mods. Tires, suspension and brakes first

Never welded my diff in my g35 and had no issues keeping it sideways.
The tcs is weird on them and stock you cant turn the tcs off fully
