Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about the band: LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017. At this point they have already released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases. Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for best new band. Then came Covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023. Recently their album „Judgement Day“ was voted #15 in best metal albums of the year 2023 by readers of Metal Hammer UK. Also „Stand and deliver“ was voted on #15 for best metal song of the year. What are fantastic results for a still relatively unknown and foreign band. And they will appear at several huge metal festivals this year again, a world tour is just announced. LOVEBITES finished touring Japan in October. Earlier this year in March they played their comeback show, 2 evenings at the same venue. This was their first live gig since 2021 and the very first show with their new bassist Fami. There are 6 videos taken from both shows on their YT channel. One of them is „The Hammer of Wrath“ which I suggest for a next reaction. Playing live in front of an audience is their real strength! And also „Stand and deliver“ is a cool song, but rather some basic playing for them … The band members are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): Has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, also she is a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, she loves her pets and Star Wars Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, does songwriting for a few songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Best drummer in the universe (IMO), wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3, also the band was Miho‘s idea, she and Haruna were the founding members!
congratulations, you have just discovered the best band on the planet ! 😀 metal + grace + elegance + beauty + sympathy + great musicians + great songs = LOVEBITES
these Ladies are friggin awesome, pick a song, any song as there are no bad songs. Great music, great lyrics, great videos, LIVE is even better...welcome to LOVEBITES
They were never a cover band per se, though they did cover a few songs live when they just had their first EP out and not much else to play, among them, yes, "Love Bites (And So Do I)" -- which Asami has sung with Halestorm on stage at Download 2019 festival BTW. (It's a spectacle to behold--Lzzy Hale is a foot taller than her.) But now they have 60+ original songs (in just seven years!), they don't do many covers anymore. They _have_ covered Painkiller by Judas Priest and Eagle Fly Free by Helloween.
Welcome to Lovebites. Jump in head first into the rabbit hole. When you do, you will find more influences, more insanely epic songs, and finally an epic musical journey.
Lovebites are Metalheads' destiny. Lovebites simply happen to Metalheads. As soon as you get to know their music, it is highly addictive. 😁To me, Lovebites are the most touching and exciting world phenomenon happening to Metal since Iron Maiden appeared in the 1980s. Lovebites are personally influenced by world-renowned artists music-wise, and are themselves unbelievably talented in terms of music, too. They learned from the best, and belong to the best. Experiencing them producing and playing excellent music (merged with Classical music from time to time) is just _brilliant_ , _phenomenal_ . Metal without regrets. Their "sisters" or "cousins" in terms of talents and excellence are "Nemophila", another young and all-female Metal band from Japan. Just discover both of them, and you will experience amazement after amazement. The fact, that these unique and amazing bands are so "little" known in the world of Metal, is an _absurd travesty_ .
Thank you for reacting to Lovebites, one of the peak metal bands today and not only in Japan. Maybe you should react to a live video, "Judgement day" would be a good one. There you´ll see the band in their usual outfits and "natural habitat" 😉 And the next band you should react to is definitely Band-Maid.
Around the world? You may never leave Japan! And you just started with the best. Congratulations. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later. They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD-“”Hammer of Wrath”, “Judgement Day”, “Nameless Warrior” and “Liar”. All of them are barn-burners. They have also posted “Stand and Deliver” from the second concert. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing. In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ua-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/v-deo.html The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: “Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. “Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, from the same concert; "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html; Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html; And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. She is self-taught on the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor). Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. Finally, the audio tracks of some of the new album are up on youtube, and worth checking out. The band clearly came out swinging and wanted to make a statement. Every song on the album is a showcase of their incredible talent and songwriting capabilities. “Stand and Deliver” is a thrasher with a fun video of them in the studio. “Soldier Stands Solitarily”, the final song on the album, is being touted by some as the best thing they’ve done so far-I encourage you to see and decide for yourself! You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Welcome to the world of Lovebites music! This an awesome band! I really like the fire in your eyes during the reaction! This may happen in every reaction video you make, but it's so nice to see such engagement in the Lovebites music video! These ladies are usually dressed in white and high heels! But there are amazing long guitar solos in every song. I love these solos! If you are interested, I suggest you to watch their live performances such as "Holy War" and "Set the World on Fire" on their official UA-cam channel. Thank you for your reaction! More Lovebites on the channel! And welcome to the WolfPack! Another Japanese band to listen to is BAND-MAID with their live video "Domination"!
Thank you for your reaction. I fell in love with a Wicked Witch, the song that is (as far as I can tell one of the less promoted on the same album). That said I already rated Shadow maker, Swan song and A Frozen Serenade as right out masterpieces (though I actually prefer the live versions of Swan song from Five of a Kind, that latest is great too), I have not heard all the songs and I have no doubt the wonderful wolfpack will guide you on your journey with Lovebites so listen to them. You asked for more Japanese bands so I suggest Band Maid, official live for Puzzle; ua-cam.com/video/zvuqmSQEnaA/v-deo.html Have fun! :)
First of the new year you met something good. These goddesses are the light of hope for the future. In this day and age, if you like rock and metal, you can't go wrong with paying attention to Japan. There is always a correct answer.
LOVEBITES - Stand And Deliver lyrics: Bet the time you got in this game ! Bet the time you got in this game ! You ready ? You ready ? Let the night go deeper than now ! Let the night go deeper than now ! You see ? You see ?
Scream until you break and rip out your heart Forget about everything that is just in your way Stand and deliver 'cause nothing's satisfying Stand and deliver and shoot'em down Stand and deliver 'cause nothing's satisfying Stand and deliver and shoot'em down
This is it, take all in your hand This is it, take all in your hand You ready ? You ready ? This, for me, is never enough This, for me, is never enough You see ? You see ?
Feel the shade that lays deep down in your soul Already know the craziness hiding under that face
Stand and deliver 'cause nothing's satisfying Stand and deliver and shoot'em down Stand and deliver 'cause nothing's satisfying Stand and deliver and shoot'em down We will bring something new to this world Speeding it up and we won't end
Bet the time you got in this game ! Bet the time you got in this game ! You ready ? You ready ? Let the night go deeper than now ! Let the night go deeper than now ! You see ? You see ?

Welcome to the realm of the Wolfpack (Lovebites fans from around the world) ! Like you have mentioned, you can hear the old school influences in this band. Having said that, they play a seamless and innovative blend of speed-power/thrash/prog/neoclassical metal/heavy rock/power ballads which makes their sound unique and contemporary. To experience how truly talented this band is, I recommend a neoclassical metal track - "Swan Song with Chopin intro" LIVE : ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html . These ladies are phenomenal LIVE ! Enjoy your Lovebites journey !
I hope you do more LOVEBITES because these ladies are phenomenal. Lovebites won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. This song was created to be a fun song to play at concerts and have the audience sing along with them. It isn't their typical style. The live song "Judgement Day" is more typical of what they play. ua-cam.com/video/yYEUGlFNBKc/v-deo.html

Welcome to the Wolfpack! You're right to compare them to Iron Maiden. They do power, thrash, speed and have a few ballads. You should check out some live performances from them. They're absolutely amazing. My favorite band currently. Maybe of all time loll.

Welcome to the 8th Wonder of the World!!! Their new live version from Knockin at Heavens Gate Pt 2 from March of 2023 is even better, as is all their live music!!! Other songs from that weekend are: Hammer of Wrath Nameless Warrior Judgement Day Liar Swan Song (the Five of a Kind version has the Piano intro) Stand and Deliver However, there is no band song from this band!! Enjoy!!!!
The Japanese rock/metal scene is currently the best in the world IMO. Lovebites has become my fav band of alltime. Elite musicianship from all. The 2 guitarists (Midori & Miyako) are among the best duo I've ever seen (Probably the best). You can get so many old school metal vibes from them, but it's distinctly their sound. Wait till you see a live video, they are incredible. There are many great rock/metal bands coming out of Japan dominated by the all female groups. Nemophila, Band-Maid & Hanabie are others you shoul;d check out. Dive deeper, it's a deep & incrediblet rabbit hole.
Heloooooooo, I recommend you to check out their live performances, there you will see the enormous talent of these girls, you won't find a guitar duo as fast as these girls, I suggest you the song "Raise some hell"
Subbed, Andy. Great reaction and really nice that you appreciated them. Lovebites is an extraordinary band with no bad songs in their 60+ set list. No cover band though they have covered Painkiller and Eagle Fly Free. Regular gotos are: Swan Song - ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html (With Miyako playing Chopin as intro, considered one of their best songs in general) Epilogue - ua-cam.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/v-deo.html (The power ballad to end all power ballads) Edge Of The World - ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html (Ditto) Break The Wall - ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html (Slayeresque trash with contrasting guitar soli) Glory To The World - ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html (An anthem of epic proportions) Dancing With The Devil - ua-cam.com/video/mJGgLFTPME8/v-deo.html (A real blues rocker with Asami enjoying herself) Signs Of Deliverance - ua-cam.com/video/ZFNrk19fKgg/v-deo.html (Synchronised tapping and sweeping galore) Other recommandations from the Japanese metal and rock rabbit hole which is very, very deep: Aldious - We Are: ua-cam.com/video/sfkJT0rra-8/v-deo.html Mary's Blood - Marionette: ua-cam.com/video/MLM2unV0kwU/v-deo.html Doll$Boxx - Shout Down: ua-cam.com/video/FVfRwBeCnE0/v-deo.html Asterism - Dawn: ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html (Yes, that is a 7-string bass) Hagane - BlackCult: ua-cam.com/video/LCheI6-MWhY/v-deo.html FateGear - Headless Goddess: ua-cam.com/video/tLQbsoKQN-0/v-deo.html (Captain Mina from Destrose) Destrose - Fenixx: ua-cam.com/video/pOEX5BcFQ1g/v-deo.html (With Lovebites drummer Haruna and founding member Miho on bass and Marina Hebbiishi now with mardelas) Mardelas - Apocalypse: ua-cam.com/video/Wd8P7wTnWJs/v-deo.html Nigen Isu - Heartless Scat: ua-cam.com/video/CbI79e5iZKs/v-deo.html D-Drive - The Last Revenge: ua-cam.com/video/QtMumMQLWyE/v-deo.html (No vocals just excellent high level rock) Hanabie - We Love Sweets: ua-cam.com/video/G18yyvPCiTM/v-deo.html (Sweet and heeeaavyyy) Band-Maid - Domination: ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html (Rock being served...) Oh, you've done it now!! I don't really listen to much metal, and yet LOVEBITES is becoming one of my all-time favorite bands! And if you think they look cute and sweet here, wait until you see them on stage!
Your reaction to Lovebites is the first time I've seen your channel. I love it when knowledgeable people go on this kind of international journey. A friend of mine is into Ghost and I never could figure out why, so i watched your top 5 video and got a much better idea. So, thanks. Idk whether Lovebites will be your cup of tea. I see you've gotten a lot of comments with good reasons why it would. I'd love to see you explore them further before you move on to the other great bands in Japan. My journey into the heavy metal genre started with Judgement Day, their comeback song. Not knowing anything about them I watched the MV and my head exploded. I kept thinking I don't know wtf I just watched and heard, but I know it's a masterpiece and I need to find out more. I could tell that it was a brilliant performance of a dense, layered, complex composition, rich in musical ideas. They sing in English, but to get the full, gut-wrenching impact of their art I need to read the lyrics and see how the music expresses the ideas. Asami spent years in the U.S. (she says her biggest vocal influence was Alicia Keys and Aretha Franklin), but she still has a strong accent. After training as a ballerina, she decided she wanted to come here to explore jazz and hiphop. You mentioned Iron Maiden. People who know a lot more about metal than me agree that there's a lot of 80s in Lovebites' sound - also Metallica, Pantera and especially Judas Priest, and Lovebites' members freely acknowledge their debt to those groups. Many musicians who listen to them recognize those roots, and point to how they have infused them with modern sensibilities. Like with any great band, my favorite pieces of theirs change, often depending on what was the last one I listened to. Lately it's: *Swan Song (especially the live version, where one of their guitarists, also a classical concert pianist) introduces and closes the song with Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, an homage to Polish fighters who rebelled against the Russian empire in the 19th Century. Swan Song adapts musical themes from that and Dvorak's New World Symphony; *Under the Red Sun, reflections by these Japanese women looking to the future after the country was nuked; *Painkiller, Lovebites' homage to the Judas Priest classic, one of their very few covers; *When Destinies Align - there have been days when I looped it on replay all day. So beautiful and powerful; *Rising, the acoustic version, just Asami singing with Miyako (one of the guitarists/classical pianist) on piano... sublime (the metal version with the full band is also great); Incidentally, Miyako dropped an album this year of rock tunes that she arranged for piano and played in the style of classical music, from the likes of Metallica, Yngwie Malmstein, Gary Moore, Helloween. Album is called Etude Op. 23. There's so much more to say...
Great reaction Andy. Yes, the band gave the most influence to Lovebites is Iron Maiden, and yes old school, other bands from 80s and 90s such as Metallica, Slayer, and Dragonforce etc. They even wrote a tribute to Aces High of Maiden titled as The Crusade ua-cam.com/video/0guewPdnrKQ/v-deo.html. About Love Bites (So Do I), It's one of three covers they did, but it is much heavier and chunkier and harsher ua-cam.com/video/M-MD312vZ6M/v-deo.html.

This is an overview of LOVEBITES' 55 self-written songs and 3 covers (plus 6+1 covers by band members) with your reaction marked with a star (*). All of them are awesome, not a single bad or medicre song, no fillers at all. Take any of them (best live), and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. LOVEBITES plays Power Metal, Thrash Metal, Symphonic Metal, classical Heavy Metal, etc. All 5 of them are masters of their crafts, they play tight, fast, powerful, relentless and effortless. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy your ride!
NOT a cover band - around since late 2016 with over 60 songs - all self written - ALL epic. they have done 2 or 3 covers in 7 years but for fun. this is THE most amazing all female band you will ever see. don't stop now and go with some live songs to see an amazing variety of styles and genres. any song - you can't lose - and there are a lot of live concert videos out there.
Not female fronted, all female. If you have the choice ALWAYS go with a live vid for Lovebites. No, they are not a halestorm cover band and never were but they have done a few cover songs. Most notable Painkiller by Judas Priest, Eagle Fly Free by Helloween There is concert footage where Asami (singer) from Lovebites is on stage with Lizzy Hale to sing, Lovebites and so do I. New to Japanese bands huh? You have stepped into a HUGE rabbit hole. Here is some suggestions to skim the top: MAXIMUM THE HORMONE - Yoshu Fukushu A VERY influential band in Japan, many bands would not exist without MTH. Band Maid - Real existence Babymetal - Megitsune Nemophila - Dissension Hanabie (Ha-Na-Bee-Eh) - We Love Sweets Unlucky Morpheus - CADAVER/REVADAC They play the first song CADAVER, then play it backwards note for note REVEDAC. They also have a heavy metal violinist who does Van Halen covers. Bridear - Light In The Dark DOLL$BOXX - Take My Chance Galneryus - Angel Of Salvation (live) Li-Sa X Band - Looking Up To You Li-Sa X is a legit child prodigy on the guitar. Mary's Blood - Marionette Yōsei Teikoku - Astral Dogma Iron Bunny - Three Shots Thruster Amazing guitarist and his costume will blow you away. Wagakki Band - Senbonzakura (1,000 cherry blossoms) They use traditional Japanese instruments and western ones. Stereopony - Hitohira No Hanabira Melt Banana - Shield for Your Eyes, A Beast in the Well on Your Hand Bit of a wildcard here, they can't really be classified just experienced. ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! - Live at Iron Island FES. 2018 They don't play instruments. They play CRT's, electric fans, code scanners Let me know when you're ready to experience Bloodywood from New Delhi. Yes, India has metal bands.
"Love Bites (So Do I)" by Halestorm was the song, that singer Asami used on a demo to introduce herself to the new band. A much better name for the band than Powerslaves...
And you ain't seen nothing yet ! I'd suggest if / when you do any more Lovebites you , where possible , do the live versions ( TBH the same applies to most Japanese bands ) . There are SO many ( mostly all female or female fronted ) bands in Japan worth checking out - Nemophila , Band Maid , Gacharic Spin , Hanabie , Doll$boxx , Trident to name but a few - the list is almost endless ( and NONE of them disappoint ! ) ENJOY !
Lovebites is easily the best female metal band in the world. This is to show that polite cute little women can be metal stars. Not aggression, not bad words, not pretending to be “bad” or “evil”, no tattoos, no drugs. These girls are a great example to new generations. There is a great rock band (female power trio) you should react to. They are also very polite and they make great rock music. Their name is “The Warning”, you can start with the song “Choke”. Thank you for your reaction.
@@tackle47 All Japanese female bands are great, but any of them are at the technical level that Lovebites has achieved. That’s very clear. You can’t put all these bands in the same basket because they play differently. LOVEBITES plays metal, the others play rock. Lovebites is the best Metal band, they have no competition in Japan or the rest of the world. The bands you mention play great rock music, but is not metal. That being said, I also have a favorite band in the Japanese rock category, The power trio “Trident”. Outside Japan, the best female rock band is “The Warning”.
@@Ruisu-San best is totally subjective to what you enjoy. What are you measuring technicality, song structure, originality or what you like the best? I absolutely love Lovebites and really like all of them outside just their music. So absolutely no shade on them but they are the most technical, have the most complex song structures nor originality. Also sorry but Nemophila and Hanabie are most definitely metal.
Lovebites have no bad songs, all of them are at least this good or better. Other Bands to check out: Aldious, Mary's Blood, Band Maid, Trident, Asterism, East Of Eden, just for starters.
They recently released a live version of this song ua-cam.com/video/cNi-OEjzMdA/v-deo.html. LOVEBITES fans generally agree that their live videos are even better than their music videos.
So for the typical deep dive into the Japanese rock and metal scene, there are many bands that are highly recommended (the J-metal scene is exploding, especially with all-female bands), but there are five that are absolutely vital: Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid, BABYMETAL and Hanabie (pronounced with four syllables: ha-na-be-eh). Lovebites play several genres, with most of their material falling into the power metal vein, but they also have several classic NWOBHM-inspired songs (such as the one you just watched, which was inspired by Motorhead, though you weren't wrong when you said it also has Iron Maiden vibes). They also have several straight thrash songs in the vein of Slayer, Metallica, etc. And they also have a number of symphonic metal and prog-metal songs. Guitarists Midori (blonde) and Miyako (dark hair), bassist Fami, and drummer Haruna are among the best virtuosos in the world on their instruments). Miyako is also a world-class concert pianist. Nemophila (pronounced neh-mo-FEE-la) is known for their covers of 80s and 90s classics, including covers of Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Journey, KISS, AC/DC, Nickelback, Pink, BABYMETAL, Skid Row, and many others. They also have two full albums of original material, with a third on the way. Their original songs are typically metalcore, nu metal, thrash and classic metal, with a combination of clean and harsh vocals. Guitarists Saki and Hazuku, and drummer Tamu are among the best virtuosos in the world on their instruments (Tamu is also very skilled at keyboards and saxophone). Nemophila "Adabana" - ua-cam.com/video/AxYiOwsu6wU/v-deo.htmlsi=AoJ-OPQ-LoqvbHCT Band-Maid is more hard rock than metal, but they do occasionally cross into heavy metal territory. They combine a maid image, based on Japan's popular Maid Cafes, with a hard rock sound. They bring a mix of rock, metal, jazz, funk, punk and pop. The lead guitarist Kanami, bassist MISA, and drummer Akane are among the best virtuosos in the world on their instruments (are you starting to see a trend here?). Band-Maid "Domination (Live)" - ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.htmlsi=v8nEroiNs3J7ZDiF BABYMETAL is a rather unique concept that blends J-pop vocals and image, choreographed dance, and heavy metal backing music (pretty much every genre of metal you can think of, they have it). Officially just the three ladies who are a dance and vocal trio, but they have two backing bands. The Eastern kami band ("kami" means "little gods") consists of some of Japan's most renowned session musicians, and they back them for their Asian and some European shows. The Western kami band, which consists largely of former members of the American Star Wars themed metal band Galactic Empire (who they met when they toured together back in 2018, along with Sabaton), backs them for their shows in the Americas and some European shows. BABYMETAL "Metali" (featuring Tom Morello) - ua-cam.com/video/hkij4LvACZ0/v-deo.htmlsi=W-1uXml0vPjEidYH Lastly, Hanabie (pronounced ha-na-be-eh, with four syllables; the last syllable has the same "e" sound as in "net," NOT an "ay" sound) are a very energetic and colorful band that started out as a Maximum the Hormone cover band (another major Japanese band, though they aren't female, except for the drummer). They describe their genre as Harajuku-core, which blends metalcore and deathcore with the colorful and wild fashions of Tokyo's famous Harajuku district. Their music combines punk, thrash and nu metal with cutesy anime-like vocals, clean pop vocals, rap, and harsh death growls. Hanabie "Pardon Me (I Have to Go Now)" - ua-cam.com/video/fuFbQ-Mewfw/v-deo.htmlsi=F6HhPSXQeQ4GX143
Thanks for your reaction. LOVEBITES writes their own songs. They have released 55 original songs and 3 original musical compositions ( 2017-2023). LOVEBITES also occasionally performed live covers of other bands' songs (including HALESTORM's 'Love Bites (So Do I)' ) and piano covers of works by classical composers. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, LOVEBITES and HALESTORM interacted at several music events in 2019. So we can say that they have a friendly relationship. Asami ( lead vocals) performed 'Love Bites (So Do I)' with HALESTORM at Download Festival in Japan (March 2019) and Download Festival in UK (June 2019). There is a video on YT. LOVEBITES also opened for HALESTORM's sold-out concert in Tokyo (December 2019). Lzzy Hale of HALESTORM has been a big influence on Asami. 💥You should definitely check out the LOVEBITES song 'Raise Some Hell' (Asami & Miyako) ! Miyako (brunette, guitar) said that this song was inspired by LOVEBITES' communication with HALESTORM.
@@rainerzufall42 I watched (listened to) the acoustic version of 'Rising' several times in 2023. Today I watched Acoustic 'Rising' again. It appeared from KARI H. I haven't seen the acoustic version of 'Raise Some Hell' yet. I could be wrong, but it seems to me that there is no acoustic version of this song.
@@rainerzufall42 They are on good friendly terms. 😊 In 2019, Asami carried herself confidently. She already had a lot of experience performing on stage by this time. Asami performed (backing vocals) with many top Japanese bands and musicians before becoming a member of LOVEBITES
@@GrayFox14 That acoustic version of 'Rising' is extremely gorgeous! It's on a whole other level than the other already awesome versions of 'Rising'...
Our LOVEBITES song is only complete when we play it live." These were the words of vocalist Asami to the audience before playing this song on the first day of the revival concert. This song was originally written with the idea of having the audience join in the chorus once the restrictions imposed by COVID were lifted, masks were no longer needed, and loud voices could be heard. Fortunately, the restrictions were lifted for the revival concerts over the past two years. Just before the concert started on the first day, the staff informed the audience and all the members of the band about this, and everyone was overjoyed at this surprise.
Japanese GIRLS BAND is 30 years ago HARD Rock, SHOW-YA, POP Rock, princess princess. It started with Japan is, The best in the world It has become a country with many GIRLS BANDs. Welcome to the WolfPack you have been Lovebitten yes Founder Miho the ex bassist was a huge Steve Harris fan si Maiden was one of the bands they were inspired by. This band has only done 3 cover songs Judas Priest Painkiller Helloween Eagle Fly Free and they did a cover of Halestorm Love Bites and so do I. The rest over their over 60 song catalogue are Lovebites original songs and not any bad ones Also check out the other Video that came out from this album where they are dressed in the formal Lovebites clothes and not just casual dress Judgement Day ua-cam.com/video/IF3NLN4D6a4-/v-deo.html For other Japanese bands I'd say Band Maid, Nemophila, Show-Ya,Aldious,Mary's Blood,Bridear,Fates Gear, Gacharic Spin, Hanabie, and Hades I'd also recommend East of eden, Unlucky Morpheus, and Asterism.
Listen to the live performances and buckle up. Here's another, listen to Band Maid DOMINATION live. Band Maid is hard rock. These are the two best all female Japanese bands in my opinion.

Next bands since you asked should be Nemophilia-Oiran live is a good start and Hanabie-Pardon Me I have to go now mv. Both are way different from each other and Lovebites but fans generally just love all 3. If you wan5 good hard rock Band Maid-Real Existence live is awesome stuff.
Check out Aldious We Are music video. Aldious is the first successful All Female Japanese Metal band since Show Ya from the 1980s. Formed 8n 2008, they were th first to chart. They have 9 studio albums all of which made Bilboards top 100 list for the years that they came out. About 80 songs I'm their Discography and noton bad, lame, mediocre or filler song in the bunch. They ate the model for which all Female Metal bands have sought to emulate. Other Metal bands may have co.e first but none succeed. You can pick any Aldious sing and, they play many genres, and have great songs in every one. They have performed with different singers all of who have had top vocal talent.
Hi, first all the best songs of Lovebites to watch on YT are live (also this song). I could suggest like the second view a different song: "Swan song" with the Chopin intro on piano "Revolutionary etude", but not the version of 2023, the version of 2020 in Tokio or the "Frozen serenade" (2021). Thank You.
If you liked this video, I'm not the type you like, You should definitely see it I would like to introduce three more girl rock bands. BAND-MAID / DOMINATION (Official Live Video) NEMOPHILA / REVIVE [Official Music Video], Gacharic Spin “MindSet”, You won't regret it. If you're interested in the songs from 30 years ago that formed the foundation for an all-girl rock band, プリンセス プリンセス “GET CRAZY!” Show-Ya - 私は嵐(Music Video) You can get a good idea of the level of Japanese girl rock bands.
Love Bites is originally a Def Leppard song, not Halestorm. 3 other Japanese bands(2 all female bands) Band Maid - Thrill Nemophila - Rise BabyMetal - Megitsune
Song "Love Bites" by Judas Priest, 1984 Song "Love Bites" by Def Leppard, 1988 Song "Love Bites" by Grace Jones, 1996 Song "Love Bites (So Do I) by Halestorm, 2012 & Won Grammy " Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance " One could say, originally a Judas Priest song, but I suspect there have been other songs with this name, but it was this Grammy-winning Halestorm song that inspired this band to name themselves LOVEBITES (one word, all caps). In album credits & u2b videos it is written in all-caps, and all band members names in album credits are in all lower-case, no capitalizing, to emphasize 'ensemble'.

Welcome! Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES. Very nice feedback. Please spread LOVEBITES to the world through your channel. Great to hear you are checking out bands from Japan. Baby Metal was the gateway for a lot of fans from outside Japan, myself included. Without them I would not have discovered these amazing, female and female fronted bands which are really taking off in Japan over the last 10 years. Lovebites are a primarily metal band and I go to them if I feel in the mood for some speed metal. My favourite band however is Band Maid who I would recommend for your next reaction try 'Domination' the official live , it's a great first introduction to the band. ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html
Thank you for checking out this band. Lead singer ,Asami, has joined Lzzy to sing Love Bites (So Do I) at Download 2019. Miyako and Midori (blond pony tail) on guitar, Haruna on drums. And here you see new bassist Fami, she joined Oct '22, replacing band co-founder Miho, who left in 2021. This video they are in just street clothes, normally the wear beautiful white dresses to perform. Some songs lean toward power metal, and some lean to thrash, and some ballads. Some of their influences do include Iron Maiden, as well as Judas Priest , Metallica, Slayer, and Helloween. They are great live too. When you come back to them, try "Judgement Day" or "Hammer of Wrath" live at Knockin On Heaven's Gate 2023. "Holy War" , "Thunder Vengeance", "Break the Wall", or "Swan Song" (with Chopin piano intro) live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020. More Japanese bands: Nemophila , Band Maid, Gacharic Spin, Ningen Isu, Doll$box, Unlucky Morpheus, Asterism. I'm most familiar with Nemophila, so I'll recommend "Oiran" , "Revive" or "Seize the Fate" official live videos. "Adabana" or "Dissension" music videos.
Enjoyed the reaction. I'm a huge fan of these ladies. Yes, they're rather old school metal. They list Iron Maiden as one of their major influences. You asked about other bands and said you prefer more modern. Give Nemophila a try. They're another all female metal band from Japan. But their sound is more modern metal with 7-string guitars and more "extreme" vocals. My favorite of theirs is "Adabana".
Ok, now you should be ready for BABYMETAL. Different but so unique. Take a video from Budokan live video. I suggest „Gimme chocolate“ or „Headbanger“ and get a fan of them.
After you listened to the suggestions I already made on BABYMETAL, do the next step: Watch „The first take - Monochrome“ of BABYMETAL. i promise you will cry because of the beautiness and meaning of that song and performance.
You asked for suggestions? Well, OK...Go on with... - Band-Maid - Nemophila - Asterism - Whiskey Dust - Tokyo Groove Jyoshi (If you like Jazz-Rock and Funk) - Mary's Blood - Doll$Boxx - D_Drive - Fate Gear ...and Wagakki Band There are at least 20 more fantastic (mostly female or female fronted bands) out there in Japan, but this will be a good start!
Please react to Hammerfall and the song called Brotherhood or Hammer of Dawn, thiey are a Swedish band from 1993, Very catchy, good musicians, Amazing vocals
Japanese girl like you have never seen 【 JUNNA 】Through The Fire And Flames / DragonForce - Drum Cover ua-cam.com/video/UKr1H4Jv6is/v-deo.html OR Painkiller / Judas Priest - Drum cover ua-cam.com/video/b_nXz4uyQVY/v-deo.html ENJOY.
Babymetal is more a dance group with studio musicians behind them and not a real band. They even play with different musicians when playing in Europe or the US, not with the original Kami band from Japan …
Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥
Here some information about the band:
LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017.
And also „Stand and deliver“ is a cool song, but rather some basic playing for them …
The band members are (including their official nicknames)
Asami on vocals (the one and only voice):
Has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, also she is a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, she loves her pets and Star Wars
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, does songwriting for a few songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Best drummer in the universe (IMO), wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3, also the band was Miho‘s idea, she and Haruna were the founding members!
Miyako and Midori are one of the best guitar duo’s in Metal music today!
Next LOVEBITES song: “Break the Wall” Live! 🎸🔥🎸🔥🤘

Lovebites are really a band to be enjoyed live, all of their live tracks are amazing
these Ladies are friggin awesome, pick a song, any song as there are no bad songs.
There you´ll see the band in their usual outfits and "natural habitat" 😉
And the next band you should react to is definitely Band-Maid.
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
Their first song with Fami is “Judgement Day” ua-cam.com/video/m3uGjp-P7DI/v-deo.html
The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc.
As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."
Here are more clips you should check out:
“Set the World on Fire” ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html from their 2021 concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”.
“Don’t Bite the Dust” ua-cam.com/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/v-deo.html, from the same concert;
"Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope.
Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ua-cam.com/video/lXh_uMM94jU/v-deo.html;
Perhaps their greatest masterpiece, a showcase of multi-instrumental virtuosity and even classical dance “A Frozen Serenade” ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html;
And their most reacted-to video, “Holy War”: ua-cam.com/video/bgAxpEpEcno/v-deo.html
Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar.
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
While you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular:
"Shadowmaker" ua-cam.com/video/Brmoln5Gxus/v-deo.html
This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world
"When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
"Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html.
You really have to see them on stage LOVEBITES - Break The Wall - Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html
Thank you for your reaction. I fell in love with a Wicked Witch, the song that is (as far as I can tell one of the less promoted on the same album). That said I already rated Shadow maker, Swan song and A Frozen Serenade as right out masterpieces (though I actually prefer the live versions of Swan song from Five of a Kind, that latest is great too), I have not heard all the songs and I have no doubt the wonderful wolfpack will guide you on your journey with Lovebites so listen to them. You asked for more Japanese bands so I suggest Band Maid, official live for Puzzle;
ua-cam.com/video/zvuqmSQEnaA/v-deo.html
Have fun! :)
First of the new year you met something good. These goddesses are the light of hope for the future. In this day and age, if you like rock and metal, you can't go wrong with paying attention to Japan. There is always a correct answer.
LOVEBITES - Stand And Deliver lyrics:
Bet the time you got in this game !
Bet the time you got in this game !
You ready ?
You ready ?
Let the night go deeper than now !
Let the night go deeper than now !
You see ?
You see ?
Scream until you break and rip out your heart
Forget about everything that is just in your way
Stand and deliver
'cause nothing's satisfying
Stand and deliver
and shoot'em down
Stand and deliver
'cause nothing's satisfying
Stand and deliver
and shoot'em down
This is it, take all in your hand
This is it, take all in your hand
You ready ?
You ready ?
This, for me, is never enough
This, for me, is never enough
You see ?
You see ?
Feel the shade that lays deep down in your soul
Already know the craziness hiding under that face
Stand and deliver
'cause nothing's satisfying
Stand and deliver
and shoot'em down
Stand and deliver
'cause nothing's satisfying
Stand and deliver
and shoot'em down
We will bring something new to this world
Speeding it up and we won't end
Bet the time you got in this game !
Bet the time you got in this game !
You ready ?
You ready ?
Let the night go deeper than now !
Let the night go deeper than now !
You see ?
You see ?
Scream until you break and rip out your heart
Forget about everything that is just in your way
Stand and deliver

Bo -FG…….. like the Energizer Bunny!
Best part is when the whole band sings…..
@@northof4912 Yawn... Here comes the troll who calls Lovebites fans "old men who obsess over young women". Not even worth commenting further.
@@boyzyu Only you big-Bo. Only you! Getting your fetish on!

There was a band called Destrose that broke up back in 2016. The bass player (different bass player who left Lovebites) and drummer created the band Lovebites. One of the other member of destrose went to the band Nemophila and another went to Mary's Blood.

Stay safe. Stay Lovebites.
Since discovering Lovebites a couple of months ago, I have not listened to anything else!🤘🏼
Welcome to the Wolfpack! You're right to compare them to Iron Maiden. They do power, thrash, speed and have a few ballads. You should check out some live performances from them. They're absolutely amazing. My favorite band currently. Maybe of all time loll.
More LOVEBITES should be your next band. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Welcome to the 8th Wonder of the World!!!
Their new live version from Knockin at Heavens Gate Pt 2 from March of 2023 is even better, as is all their live music!!!
Other songs from that weekend are:
Hammer of Wrath
Nameless Warrior
Judgement Day
Liar
Swan Song (the Five of a Kind version has the Piano intro)
Stand and Deliver
However, there is no band song from this band!!
Enjoy!!!!
THIS BAND IS 🔥🔥
The Japanese rock/metal scene is currently the best in the world IMO.
BEST IN THE WORLD ,ABOUT RIGHT I SAY.
Heloooooooo, I recommend you to check out their live performances, there you will see the enormous talent of these girls, you won't find a guitar duo as fast as these girls, I suggest you the song "Raise some hell"
M & M (Miyako an Midori) are the best metal duo today, no question.
Subbed, Andy. Great reaction and really nice that you appreciated them. Lovebites is an extraordinary band with no bad songs in their 60+ set list. No cover band though they have covered Painkiller and Eagle Fly Free.
Regular gotos are:
Swan Song - ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html (With Miyako playing Chopin as intro, considered one of their best songs in general)
Epilogue - ua-cam.com/video/JIAJYBuuKGM/v-deo.html (The power ballad to end all power ballads)
Edge Of The World - ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html (Ditto)
Break The Wall - ua-cam.com/video/5Pc0XK0lNmU/v-deo.html (Slayeresque trash with contrasting guitar soli)

Oh, you've done it now!!
Lately it's:
*Swan Song (especially the live version, where one of their guitarists, also a classical concert pianist) introduces and closes the song with Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, an homage to Polish fighters who rebelled against the Russian empire in the 19th Century. Swan Song adapts musical themes from that and Dvorak's New World Symphony;
*Under the Red Sun, reflections by these Japanese women looking to the future after the country was nuked;
*Painkiller, Lovebites' homage to the Judas Priest classic, one of their very few covers;
*When Destinies Align - there have been days when I looped it on replay all day. So beautiful and powerful;
*Rising, the acoustic version, just Asami singing with Miyako (one of the guitarists/classical pianist) on piano... sublime (the metal version with the full band is also great);
Incidentally, Miyako dropped an album this year of rock tunes that she arranged for piano and played in the style of classical music, from the likes of Metallica, Yngwie Malmstein, Gary Moore, Helloween. Album is called Etude Op. 23.
There's so much more to say...
Welcome to Wolfpack 🐺🤘🇮🇩
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
To get a taste of them live, may I suggest "Holy War" live from Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020. ( My personal favorite) lol
great reaction. thanks for your appreciation of these five. stick with them. they are the best. APEX.
Iron Maiden AND Helloween are about neck and neck for their main influences.

Here is some suggestions to skim the top:
MAXIMUM THE HORMONE - Yoshu Fukushu A VERY influential band in Japan, many bands would not exist without MTH.
Band Maid - Real existence
Babymetal - Megitsune
Nemophila - Dissension
Hanabie (Ha-Na-Bee-Eh) - We Love Sweets
Unlucky Morpheus - CADAVER/REVADAC They play the first song CADAVER, then play it backwards note for note REVEDAC. They also have a heavy metal violinist who does Van Halen covers.
Bridear - Light In The Dark
DOLL$BOXX - Take My Chance
Galneryus - Angel Of Salvation (live)
Li-Sa X Band - Looking Up To You Li-Sa X is a legit child prodigy on the guitar.
Mary's Blood - Marionette
Yōsei Teikoku - Astral Dogma
Iron Bunny - Three Shots Thruster Amazing guitarist and his costume will blow you away.
Wagakki Band - Senbonzakura (1,000 cherry blossoms) They use traditional Japanese instruments and western ones.
Stereopony - Hitohira No Hanabira
Melt Banana - Shield for Your Eyes, A Beast in the Well on Your Hand Bit of a wildcard here, they can't really be classified just experienced.
ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS! - Live at Iron Island FES. 2018 They don't play instruments. They play CRT's, electric fans, code scanners
Let me know when you're ready to experience Bloodywood from New Delhi. Yes, India has metal bands.
Wolfpack here visiting.
Nice to see someone discover this band. If you decide to return to Lovebites I recommend their live material. They tend to be a lot better live.
There are SO many ( mostly all female or female fronted ) bands in Japan worth checking out - Nemophila , Band Maid , Gacharic Spin , Hanabie , Doll$boxx , Trident to name but a few - the list is almost endless ( and NONE of them disappoint ! )
ENJOY !
Their name is
“The Warning”, you can start with the song “Choke”.
Thank you for your reaction.
Easily to you the best. Many contenders that each individual can choose from, Nemophila, Hanabie, Cryptia etc…
These girls are great, they are a force of nature
Nemophila "Adabana" - ua-cam.com/video/AxYiOwsu6wU/v-deo.htmlsi=AoJ-OPQ-LoqvbHCT
Band-Maid is more hard rock than metal, but they do occasionally cross into heavy metal territory.
Band-Maid "Domination (Live)" - ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.htmlsi=v8nEroiNs3J7ZDiF
BABYMETAL is a rather unique concept that blends J-pop vocals and image, choreographed dance, and heavy metal backing music (pretty much every genre of metal you can think of, they have it).
BABYMETAL "Metali" (featuring Tom Morello) - ua-cam.com/video/hkij4LvACZ0/v-deo.htmlsi=W-1uXml0vPjEidYH
Lastly, Hanabie (pronounced ha-na-be-eh, with four syllables; the last syllable has the same "e" sound as in "net," NOT an "ay" sound) are a very energetic and colorful band that started out as a Maximum the Hormone cover band (another major Japanese band, though they aren't female, except for the drummer).

You may think of 'Rising' (Acoustic version by Asami & Miyako), or is there an acoustic version of 'Raise Some Hell' that I don't know?
Lzzy Hale and the band were extremely kind to Asami, who was a bit nervous!
Asami the vocalist is "charisma" Lzzy’s good friend. Lzzy said Asami is super sexy girl.
I Agree ❤
❤ BAND-MAID ❤

This band has only done 3 cover songs Judas Priest Painkiller Helloween Eagle Fly Free and they did a cover of Halestorm Love Bites and so do I. The rest over their over 60 song catalogue are Lovebites original songs and not any bad ones Also check out the other Video that came out from this album where they are dressed in the formal Lovebites clothes and not just casual dress Judgement Day ua-cam.com/video/IF3NLN4D6a4-/v-deo.html For other Japanese bands I'd say Band Maid, Nemophila, Show-Ya,Aldious,Mary's Blood,Bridear,Fates Gear, Gacharic Spin, Hanabie, and Hades I'd also recommend East of eden, Unlucky Morpheus, and Asterism.
nest do shadowmaker the live version!!!

And difficult as it is to believe the live versions of this songs are MUCH better, pure fire.
Thank You.
These women are jamming the hell out !!!! Love it !!
EDIT: Yes it does have a little Iron Maiden and Accept vibe with some symphonic metal.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🔥🔥🔥🔥
If you liked this video,
I'm not the type you like,
You should definitely see it
I would like to introduce three more girl rock bands.

Gacharic Spin “MindSet”,
You won't regret it.
If you're interested in the songs from 30 years ago that formed the foundation for an all-girl rock band,

You can get a good idea of the level of Japanese girl rock bands.
✨🥰🤘
Other top Japanese bands: Band Maid, Baby Metal, Nemophila, Aldious, Unlucky Morpheus
This is the 1st song with their new bassist Fami after Roseanne Miho left.
Love Bites is originally a Def Leppard song, not Halestorm.
3 other Japanese bands(2 all female bands)
Band Maid - Thrill
Nemophila - Rise
BabyMetal - Megitsune
Song "Love Bites" by Judas Priest, 1984
Song "Love Bites" by Def Leppard, 1988
Song "Love Bites" by Grace Jones, 1996
Song "Love Bites (So Do I) by Halestorm, 2012 & Won Grammy
" Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance "
One could say, originally a Judas Priest song, but I suspect there have been other songs with this name, but it was this Grammy-winning Halestorm song that inspired this band to name themselves LOVEBITES (one word, all caps). In album credits & u2b videos it is written in all-caps, and all band members names in album credits are in all lower-case, no capitalizing, to emphasize 'ensemble'.
ASAMI joined Lizzy Hale/HALESTORM on stage to sing Love Bites And So Do I - ua-cam.com/video/OCRaHKul8xY/v-deo.htmlsi=NP9_Vy8GPlsgnI6w
Try a live performance of HOLY WAR and SET TNR WORLD ON FIRE. For the mellow side of LOVEBITES, you can’t beat A FROZEN SERENADE (live).
My favorite band is BAND-MAID, another Japanese, all-female quintet. Start with the live performance of DOMINATION, from 14th, February 2020.
You will get recommendations for many other Japanese bands, I’m sure.
welcome to the Lovebites Rabbithole. Once biten, there is no antitoxine.

Lovebites is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Greetings from Argentina
As you asked, next Japanese band: Band Maid and East of Eden - take a new one
Enjoyed the reaction. I'm a huge fan of these ladies. Yes, they're rather old school metal. They list Iron Maiden as one of their major influences. You asked about other bands and said you prefer more modern. Give Nemophila a try. They're another all female metal band from Japan. But their sound is more modern metal with 7-string guitars and more "extreme" vocals. My favorite of theirs is "Adabana".
Next : Band Maid Freedom official live or BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)
- Band-Maid
- Nemophila
- Asterism
- Whiskey Dust
- Tokyo Groove Jyoshi (If you like Jazz-Rock and Funk)
- Mary's Blood
- Doll$Boxx
- D_Drive
- Fate Gear
...and Wagakki Band
There are at least 20 more fantastic (mostly female or female fronted bands) out there in Japan, but this will be a good start!
Please react to other Tokio Hotel songs
Next try react " God allow me pls to play music " by VOB band metaL hijab from indonesia and tour Us 2023
Please react to Nemophila they're the best out of Japan 🤘🔥🔥❤️❤️ Mayu vocals are so diverse one best singers in the world
Babymetal will probably be the group favorite but Band-Maid, Maximum the Hormone, Jam Project and of course X Japan are all amazing as well
Thank you for the suggestions! 🤘
Babymetal is more a dance group with studio musicians behind them and not a real band. They even play with different musicians when playing in Europe or the US, not with the original Kami band from Japan …
Babymetal Idol Grup
Look I try to not be a music elitist, but please don't compare Lovebites to Babymetal lol.
iron maiden ? no this japenese sound.they all comes from classical training the singer before was a ballerina
I think live video is better
