Very nice step-by-step informative video. Could you make on for the V6 version as well? I'm about to buy a Mishimoto catch can for the 6th gen V8 camaro assuming the mounting brackets and hosing included fits the V6 as well.
If there was a kit available for the V6 we would put it on the plan. Unfortunately there is no direct catch can kit that will fit the V6 models. The mounting location for the SS will work on the V6 but you will need to get new hoses for the lines.
The cans are the same but the mounting bracket and installation will be different. The SS models are actually a bit easier to install since they dont have an many hoses.
If my factory CCV connection is broke and just on snug would buying this kit allow for a secure connection? I had yanked a little to hard thinking it would come off but it broke. Thanks
One for CCV crankcase ventilation system & one for PCV Positive crankcase ventilation. Two different separate systems. Important with turbo higher pressure CCV
love the install videos. Reminds me of horsepower tv from back in the day.
Thank you for watching!
Clean install

Is it the same as the ss catch can or do they differ?

Where does one get that disconnect tool! For the ccv on air intake.
That tool is a fuel line disconnect tool. Its a tool that we have had for a while and found that it worked in that situation.

Unfortunately the factory Y would need to be replaced. This kit would not be a fix for that.
Where can I get the hose removal tool?
Its a fuel line disconnect tool that should be available at any local auto parts store.
Don't get it, why are there two catch cans...?

No v6 catch can?
Unfortunately not. We have suggested it to the manufacturers we deal with but nothing has been done just yet.
$500 these dudes are on drugs
The price is steep but everything is there! Correct size hoses, the y - pcv adapter and the plastic ends, etc!
Terrible angle show from the top
