Do any of these custom installs require tuning or is the system smart enough to pick up on the custom parts?
Would this fit a 2014 Regal(non GS) 2.0T LTG motor (currently Trifecta tuned)

Exactly. Every other video out on youtube says 3 turns for 2mm

Will this work on the Cadillac 2.0t as well or just the Camaro’s. Same 2.0t engine but wasn’t sure if the programming is the same between the two.
Same engine. Just swap and go.

I just blew my turbo cartridge and I'm replacing the entire unit as it's cheaper , got a DV+ diverted valve contemplation on the TS wastegate, 7psi or 14psi???

Injen aluminum charge pipes hot and cold
Injen cold air intake
ZZP ignition coils
Ngk plugs
Mishimoto intercooler
Banks daisy chained idash computers on the A pillar
Voltage stabilizer
Throttle body spacer
I don't know why but I have a feeling my car would run fine with the 14psi it's a beast already and feels underboosted at 7psi.

We highly recommend to tune for any upgrades affecting boost.
Does it give you more horsepower or just throttle response? Isn't it the same as Racechip xlr? that you can change throttle response? I'm looking for something that can add more horsepower to my 2021 camaro. Got cold intake from you guys, but need something that can add more horsepower.
The 7psi kit will not increase power all that much since the factory set up is for the same psi. If you go with the 14psi kit then you would see a power increase but the tune and fueling would be needed to support that level of boost.
The 7psi will however increase throttle response since the diaphragm will respond faster then the factory one.

The 8 speed auto is a bigger hindrance to performance than turbo lag, if that's the transmission you have.
I changed mine out for the 7psi turbosmsrt wastegate, and on the way home noticed it wasn't getting up and going when I got on the gas. Soon got an engine light along with the notification "engine power reduced". Threw an under boost error code, code P0299. Any idea why thus could happen or does anyone have any tips on how to fix? Even after the code was cleared it still isn't making boost like it used to, takes alot more for anything to come out of the blow off valve.
prob underboosting, what made you get the 7psi? If im not mistaken, factory is 14/15 PSI, and Turbosmart def has the 14 psi option. At least thats the stock PSI on the regal 2.0 LTG motors.

Yes, these can be installed together. No tune necessary.
Would the 14psi version be ok without a tune?
would recommend a tune as you need the right amount of fuel to support it

I put this in but I got an engine light I'm not sure if I've done the length on the rod right. Does the turbo valve have to be straight up or all the way to right
Actually I went to turbosmart and their is way more instructions then just mounting.
Did you fix the engine light issue?
@@ryanharper9701 nope I took off the waste gage. And put factory back in. I went to turbo smart and pulled up instruction I have to get back to it.

Not with the 7psi. 14 psi yes. However tunes are always recommended for max performance
Not for this odentiical 7psi. And remember if under warranty still do not tune if you want your power train warranty still intact..

If installed correctly there should be no issues. We have been testing it for a while and have not ran into any problems.

Anything LTG most likely, which is the 4 cylinder 2.0t
what’s the difference between the Wastegate and the Blowoff valve?
I installed a blowoff valve from turbosmart, the dual port, on my 2020 camaro 2.0t. It relieves the extra boost made in your turbo that you don't use from my understanding. Shoots the air out when you let off the gas. From my understanding of this 7psi wastegate that I also installed, it kind of controls and evens out the amount of boost made in your turbo.

@nicholaspierce-oj2xt I did throw a code once, p990 or something I think,it said on the dash "engine power reduced" but it was because I had put it on loose. It doesn't say how tight but you want to barely be able to put it on, after i tightened it and shortened the length everything went back to normal.
@@frosty4980 you disconnected the battery and everything? Highkey worried to install it 🤣 never done it before. And a lot of people are saying it’s not like this video
