Wow your hair has really grown. I learned how to twist and flat twist my hair 4 years ago from your natural hair videos. Thanks for all styles you've shown over the years. Maybe I'll lock my hair when I'm my mid 50s or 60s. Until then I'll just keep my hair in twist.

Thank you! I rarely style my hair as much as I use to before I was loc'd. I just like wearing it down a lot because it's really easy and i like to feel my hair on my neck and shoulders.
I've always loved your hair even when you were loose natural. Your locs look really healthy and getting so long. Do you have a length goal for your locs?
Thank you! Probably waist length or a little shorter, but if any those two goals come with a lot of weight on the neck, I have no problem sticking to mid back length.

This is pretty good I like this my locks are over 10 years old but they are Natty dreads I have never retwist or even started to twist they just do it all by themselves this is my second set my first set I had them for about 3 years and then I stayed at a friend's house and his sister came home from school with lights and I got them and then I had to shave my head. I have had twists and cornrows which oh God cornrows look so awful on me but anyways I don't know if twist will work for me with my locks being so long and being natty. I need to find somebody who knows exactly what to do and do them for me I can't keep my hands over my head for very long without my arms hurting really bad

I love your locs! Thank you for this video. I have starter locs and I can't seem to get my retwisted hair to remain...well retwisted. As a result, I get a lot of frizz and messiness. Additionally, I'm really struggling with flaking and dry scalp. Do you by chance have any tips?
Hello Makala! Have you thought about Interlocking? Unfortunately I don't have any tips in relation to dry scalp, but Interlocking could be an option for you if you're looking for your roots to stay in place longer. You said that you currently have starterlocs. Frizz and fuzziness is natural and very common within the first year of your journey. I say embrace it, but do whatever makes you happy in the end.

I retwist my hair every 6 weeks. Most people recommend retwisting anywhere between 4-8 weeks.

I haven't changed the direction of how I retwist. I suppose the camera can be deceiving at times. 😊

I have a question ! It’s very serious and any answers will b appreciated! I’m soo worried!! I just got my weave done yesterday and we used 2 full packs . I had one piece of hair left over and my hair dresser insisted on putting it in my head because she didn’t want to waste the hair! I didn’t think anything of it until later. All my wefts are single wefts on one cornrow she randomly put in the remaining weave hair on an already sewn weft making it a double weft and now I’m scared af that part of the hair is gonna break off and I been trying to grow my hair so that’s devestating af! Do u think my hair underneath the double weft is gonna b okay !? Please help!! Any answers r greatly appreciated it ! God bless you
How often do you retwist? I retwist about every 7-8 weeks (I’m 13 mos in) but I feel like they’re thinner than I would like.
I do a re-twist every 6 weeks.
