HONG KONG TRAVEL DAY Manchester to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific

- This is the start of my trip to Hong Kong by flying from Manchester to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific. Flying Economy Class with Cathay Pacific CX216 on their Airbus A350-900 took just over 12 hours.
I start my day by parking in the Manchester Terminal 2 Multi Story car park and checking in my bag.
After I go through security I get breakfast at the Amber Alehouse, a full English Breakfast and glass of water.
I then walk around the terminal visiting all the shops and duty free before heading to our gate.
We board our flight on time, my seat is 64A, I have a good window seat and the legroom is ok. We are delayed a bit before taking off due to having to wait for a time slot.
The flight was 12 hours from Manchester to Hong Kong. we were served dinner over Germany, I had the pork and rice and I was pleasantly surprised, for airplane food it was really tasty.
I tried my best to go to sleep but just couldn't we watched a film instead. They served breakfast with a couple of hours to go, it was egg, sausage, etc. and again tasted really good.
When I arrived in Hong Kong I passed through immigration by filling in a passenger landing card, collected my free HK$100 voucher from the Hong Kong Tourist Authority shop and then got my bag.
I collected my Octopus Card from the OBS store in the arrival terminal and activated my Airalo e-sim.
I then caught a blue Lantau Island Taxi to my hotel for the next three night, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.
I check in, leave my bag at the bell service and get ready to explore Hong Kong.

Fantastic video, you covered everything! I'm flying to HK with my wife in a few weeks (same seat as you were in, on the return leg). Was it a generally smooth flight? It's going to be one of my longest.
Glad it was helpful, it was a smooth flight but as you say it was quite long. I found that Cathay Pacific was more comfortable than Virgin Atlantic who I usually fly with to the States.
I didn’t like hk but idk about Disney there
