Genpei Toumaden's only English translation as the game never left arcades in Japan, but did get a PCE port. Namco used to put some of their more obscure games on collections, but this and #5 sold poorly, even magazines like EGM gave a snobby opinion that Namco was scraping the bottom of the barrel for collections at this point. If anything, Namco was still putting out the good stuff by this collection, and did so for the fifth and Japan only 6th volume. I do have the Japanese version of this one, I knew I paid cheaply enough for it, only Pac-Land (which I got it for) and Assault/Assault Plus work on the disc. Ordyne and Return of Ishtar are a couple other treasures on this disc, but due to a flaw in the disc, they never load up for me at all.
Excuse me... but what is the secret version of The Return of Ishtar called and how did you get to it? (When the flames in the exhibit hall turned blue)
It's my favorite Namco Museum volume of all time! I was a pro on Genji and Heike Clans since middle school when I first got this game.
Vol. 4 has the best music if you ask me. Love that Libble Rabble remix used for zooming in on the items.

Great video. Thank you so much!
This is my favorite volume out of series.

I wish that Namco would re-release more of their obscure games in their library, all in one big collection, and do it right.
@@CreeperDudeBro Namco Museum Ultimate, collecting every game from Vol. 1 to 5 and Encore?

During the exhibit hall, quickly press Right, Left, Up, Down and Circle or X
I’m mainly here for Pac-Land
Me too
Me neither play this for pac-land
I can tell.
7:25 my favorite control panel!
My favorite of them all is Assault
The title card background looks like the museum is in Tokyo, Japan.
If anything, they should make a movie based on “Assault.”
0:22 Tekken 2 Opening
What would happen if pennywise became a samurai? 😂😂
1:32:28 My favorite NG cover!
Looks like I'm not thinly one who has problems with that jump pad in Pac-Land.

I really want to get my hands on this game, if anyone has a copy or even a disc of vol. 4 that they want to sell. reply.
Man this game is rare just like vol.5 but vol.2 isn't that rare it's considered a classic game with a high price
Vol 4 is rarest in pal, with 1 and 5 most common
