    Wow this looks absolutely amazing! 🤤 At first I was thinking that it seemed like too much work but once I got to the end seeing the scrumptious result I see why it is totally worth it! Can’t wait to try making this!

    I’m inspired to give akara a go now. One of my favourite foods worries I would mess it up. Apart from the video, is there a recipe I can follow - I use this to check that I’ve got all the ingredients before starting. - your fan from downunder (Melbourne, Australia)

    Achei interessantíssima a forma como adaptou o akará. Comida ritual ofertado ao meu òrisá Oyá. Aqui no Brasil em Salvador-Bahia,de onde sou, não temos o costume de fazê-lo recheado. Fazemos os bolinhos apenas com a massa de feijão fradinho,sal e cebola. E fritamos no azeite de dendê/azeite de palma. E como acompanhamento, caruru,(tipo amalá),salada de cebola e tomate, vatapá ,camarão seco e molho de pimenta. Isso para comercializar. Pois no candomblé, oferemos a Oyá apenas os bolinhos com camarões. Sem acompanhamentos.
    Gostaria se possível ,da receita em português,pois não falo inglês, e fiquei sem entender alguns dos ingredientes agregados á receita. Obrigada! 😅

      I have used red lentils but I didn't do the hand mixer part...maybe next time.

      @@QIKWIA You're welcome! The beautiful thing about the red lentils - no skins to remove, just soak, blend, season, fry. I asked Chef Lola to do a video using red lentils. I hope she will soon.

    What happens when you leave the skins on? I think one needs the fibre in our diet.

    You always use garlic and ginger for your food but y. I want to no if the garlic and ginger is good food or not, please talk to me .

      They both have great medicinal properties and makes your food yummy. There is no ginger in this one though 😂
