This item got me the hitless achievement on the 5BC spoiler boss and I'll be honestly when I say I don't think I could have done it otherwise... it's broken.
This video shows you how to set up custom mode, what items to look out for, how stun mechanics work and why this build is beyond busted and will promptly get nerfed into the fucking ground.

I actually created this build in 5BC so... yes it DOES work at the hardest difficulty...
I hitlessed the spoiler boss with it...
thumbnail was fascinating to create and used an AI generated background and a LOT of photobashing in my editing software XD
cool system to test out though... learned a lot
I've got to say, even if you did do it in 5BC the video is still a lot more credible when, you know, you're not playing on the easiest difficulty haha. It's also a better way to showcase when the enemies have actual health, since you have more BONKBONKBONKBONKBONK footage.

I've played with this build and created on my own without watching someone else recommend the items. I can say I'm proud but at the same time all I did was figure it out and then the game does the rest for me. Easy 5bc wins.

This is basically Hotline Miami: the build. The bat is literally from that game and biker uses similar knives as throwables in the first game. And nearly everything is one hit there too. This is the best crossover so far.

I'm always so relieved when I find a bat in my runs, because if I happen to be floundering without a specific build, I can just turn my brain off and vomit absurd damage

Despite the enemies you mentioned being immune to stun, those same enemies are not immune to root (except for Giant, but I'll have to check because I swear Phaser root works on him). So technically the bat is still broken against them since it crits on stunned and rooted enemies.
you're correct but since stun is the easier mechanic to use I opted to avoid making things more difficult
@@Windette tbf, Boy's Axe is a great way to root.
It also works on frozen enemies, although it doesn’t say so.

im making this comment after the DLC had dropped i think the only enemy that cant be rooted or stuned is the giant
DLC final boss phase two cannot be stunned or rooted
I successfully got my 3rd and 4th cells with the bat, cudgel shiel, wolf trap, and crusher equipped for both runs. That thing is legitimately insane
They didn't nerfed this build, and I'm so glad of it.
Everytime I force the game to give me Throwable Objects + Bat just to have fun and bonk the shit out of every boss in this game

I know this might be asking much, but can you do individual videos going over each biome in the game, enemies, puzzles, and the accompanying boss? It'd be pretty cool to learn more about each area, and frankly I don't have the brain cells to go read a wiki, I prefer to have everything told to me in insults by someone who is at least half competent.

@@ethanhostetler4007 I was mostly clueless too till about 3BC when I finally got fed up of randomly getting in those stupid lore rooms expecting actual Items so just searched on youtube for dead cells lore, it both explained the story and the different biomes, not the weapons though, that you would have to search for

I'm glad this is a thing someone who's WAY better at this game than I am said. I thought the hyperlight sword and blaster was the best weapon until I found this bat. Bonk bat busted
What's so good about em? They feel pretty meh
@Syrus Alder always have access to crits. They ate suppose to be played starting at range, then close up (playing the weapon as intended gives you those crits) does really solid damage, and you can do more damage by shooting your intended target more. Good against groups with careful play, good against bosses cause all of your shots will end up in the boss

@@kamuikadet6538 dislocated my one knee 4 times within 2 years. Really wasn’t fun, but my guess was my muscle were just way too weak. Now it’s not a problem anymore.

Loved this (watched it ~6 times). Also got me through the 2BC wall (finally).
Been loving this build. Thank you. One nit: I think it makes more sense to go Brutality than Survival, especially on higher BSCs. The reason being having more health doesn't help that much since enemies damn near one shot you anyways so having mutations like Combo scale with your scrolls makes more sense.
Phaser is also great for this build, it doesn’t expressly say it but it stuns enemies too. Using heart of ice and instinct of the master of arms you refill the phaser instantly. You can then spam the two to teleport around dealing guaranteed crits

This has become my de facto blueprint hunting build. I used to use nutcracker + boy's axe + wolf trap.

Beat my first 2BC run with this. It was the least I’ve ever had to try in a game. You see a bat, you TAKE IT.
This is literally just scout from TF2 before the sandman nerf. this is an elaborate reference to a time when you could throw the flying guillotine and hit someone with the sandman ball and do critical damage only the sandman was the thing to cause the stun and the flying guillotine was the one to do the critical hit

Phaser has a hidden feature that roots the enemy you phase yourself to. Pair that with wolf traps and a shield and you're basically untouchable while bonking enemies (including elites and bosses) to oblivion all the time.
Does this still work after the new updates?
The bat also works on rooted targets as well, if I remember correctly, so the enemies that don't stun are taken care of. Plus there's a root grenade in survival as well, so...

In 5BC when I use this I usually put it with the wolf trap and heart of ice. That on its own is super OP.

The baseball bat also works on rooted targets, meaning you can destroy every enemy, my build for the root class is the same weapons but I've rearranged the skills to the root grenades and bear traps, mutations are master of instinct, heart of ice and combo

To make things better, Dracula's initial form can be stunned while his teleport-heavy moveset makes rooting him impossible. If you go after him and he doesn't delete the shop, you're better off with double stun grenades, which are also useful against his final form's minions if you ran out of ammo on your throwable objects in the first round.

I want to heavily recommend also using the Bludgeon shield with the Armadillopack Mutation for the ultimate safety package.
Another bonk Sim is panchacku. I love those pans,the same crit condition as vorpan,combined with speed,it allows you to do marvelous things,I practically sppendran hand of the king
The bat also crits with rooted enemies so you could use the root grenade too which is also in survival

Frost blast might don't have stun but freeze but I think using this with baseball bat is really good, if your wandering baseball bat has also a stun so spamming frost blast with baseball bat with a stun is neat, and probably frost blast works some bosses
After watching your videos you encouraged me to download this game. I literally just got into dead cells yesterday. Bonk is very high on my list of things to do. (P.S: you explain stuff SO WELL! i got once a flint hammer or whatever is called with a modifier that makes it so EVERY single attack that i did with it was charged and some other modifiers that i dont remember i could just take half a cuarter of the hand of the king hp

You can also do this on the Spoiler boss. Its kinda like the concierge since he cant or barely can get out of the stun if you stun grenade him. Used this tactic to no hit the fucker since im not gonna try to no hit him honestly when going throug an hour long run just to reach him
try with brut the ability which teleports you behind enemy and this mutation wich reduces cooldown on kill that alows you to teleport to enemys just to oneshot them also initative and combo are great for this
...I... have never seen the Concierge be bullied that hard since I was able to make a pure "Floor is Lava" build and just watched as he killed himself on an arena of blue fire. And here I thought the Bat was underpowered.

It's funny because yesterday I managed to get to the vanilla final boss (first time there btw) with this weapon, using wolfs trap, and the turret that throws buzzsaws (HK moment) that bleeds enemies. With the bat having extra damage to bleeding enemies... yeah. Still the final boss wreck me harder than the golems.

If you have a wolf trap and the baseball bat if you place the wolf trap down and lets say the hand of the king got stuck in it and you use the baseball bat it will still do criticals

Throwable objects get way better when it pierces first target and Ammo +3. I think you can grab the Ammo skill and double it again. You never run out of Ammo for it.

I’m new to the game, but I got a run with the Bat and a trap item. A few insane modifiers for bonus stun damage, and I dropped the clock tower boss in about 30 seconds without taking a hit. It might have not gotten nerfed lol

The throwable object and bat combine to form the best survival build.
Dead cells is the indie game to end all indie games. Half life references, collabs with other indie games (such as terraria, RoR2, Hallow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, and Hotline Miami), it's a roguelite so it's addictive as heck, very funny moments throughout, and of course moments equally as frustrating as getting crushed by a boulder in terraria.
You can even get an affix on it that does 70% MORE DAMAGE TO STUNNED TARGETS.
i managed to beat the game on 5bc for the first time using the bat, and during this run i had 35 green scrolls and did 100% extra damage to stunned targets from the back, with this i managed to deal around 110000 damage per crit.
Windete you're the only youtuber i've seen make the bosses of dead cells into victims 🤣
