Instructions unclear. Accidentally unlocked godhome, cleared all of the pantheons, and gave the flower to the godseeker.
@Laylaybug1 you... Do know that you give the flover to the godseeker OUTSIDE of godhome
You still need to do up to (the knight i think?) in order to wake the big godseeker up enough to gift

When doing any of the routes, it helps to start at the destination, then go to the grey mourner, clearing out enemies on the way. Just make sure not to bench if you do this.
Why did I never think of that
Eh, it’s fine. I did it second try on my first play through and never failed again after that. Don’t really want to waste that much time =_=
I think they made it so collecting the flower resets enemies because this never worked for me
@@matthewdossantos1414 Collecting the flower doesn't reset the enemies. Benching does. Don't bench. Not like you need to heal, right?
Or cheese it by benching super close to your destination, then getting the flower and save-quitting.
More advice would be to leave a dream gate at the gray mourner so when your flower inevitably breaks you can easily get back
no. bench at mourner. if it breaks, quit out to menu, and go back into the game. you'll be at the bench.
But if u do bench doesn’t it respawn the enemies u killled?

The problem with this is reloading the game means all the enemies respawn anyway. The reason for the tip with Dreamgate is that it won’t respawn anything that you’ve killed, making the quest easier.

Oh absolutely. I did it the hitless way myself for all the anxiety points. However if people are genuinely struggling doing the quest then there’s nothing wrong with it.
He wants to get rid of us as fast as possible, so he tries to do speed run tricks and remembers that he's here to help us

Pro tip for flower quest:
Kill everything on your route before getting the flower and then DO NOT BENCH. The pathways will be missing every annoying enemy, leaving only the weak ones.
Wait can we use dream portal to get the flower after cleaning monsters ?

@@Windette If you enter waterways from the part of kingdom's edge you get to from ancient basin, you can get isma's tear while avoiding most of the waterways.

Personnally i did the flower quest and it took me an entire days to finish by giving it to the nailmaster ,elder big and the grave.

The alternate way to never get hit is to play Shiek from the original Hyrule Warriors. No idea why, but in that game Shiek and only Shiek gets to be invincible so long as they are performing a dodge roll, and can infinitely chain them for effectively endless invincibility, since they have litterally 0 frames where they can take any damage while doing this.
I somehow love, how the essential fighting trick in this game is "wait for enemy movement and punish it" and somehow I was stupid enough to get punished by enemies using the same principle (hundreds of times).
I've honestly been stuck on the second hornet fight for a bit, the insults help, thank you
I literally couldn’t do it without cheesing her with Stalwart Shell.
But now that I’m doing the pantheons... I’m gonna have to actually learn how to beat her without simply facetanking D:

hornet 2 was realllly easy for me. like 1-2 deaths.
no charms btw, fighting normally with no cheesing. but i must admit, hornet sentinel radiant was pretty hard, 1/2 NKG radiant difficulty.
The flower is rare! She just clearly had a very very long time to grow more of it.
She probably knew she wasn't gonna get anyone with actual skills to help her with it.
i was waiting for the next one for so long, i wandered off and got all 3 dreamers and awakened the dreamnail.

I have never really had much trouble with the flower quest actually. I did it on the 2nd try, after having backtracked from the grave and killed everything in my path. Since big enemies don't respawn unless you sit at a bench, I only had to deal with small things, so it wasn't really hard. Flower quest is more about preparation and planning your path ahead if you don't trust your skills.
Anyone else uses the planning technique?

@@Windette actually that's the only thing left. I have done the nail and soul binding, but the other two I am still practicing.
I see that quest as more of a quest you do once you’ve got all the power ups and charms so that you can use sharp shade, long nail, and fast nail to make things easier ( if you don’t know the sharp shade makes you dash a little further so it can help you dash threw the zombies with ought taking damage if you time it well)
Fun fact. If you bench in the station in queens garden. You can pick up the flower and then quite the game. This makes it that when you start the save you will have the flower and will spawn on the bench right next to where you have to put the flower

Everyone was amping up the flower quest so I was really cautious and fueled by pure adrenaline and did it first try
Uh, last time i did the quest and took the "Elevator" the flower broke...don't use any kind of transport. It will destroy the flower...

I played through a decent chunk of the game before losing like 7k geo to dying with an existing shade which made me restart the game in rage, at which point I used the guides to get back to speed.

Doing this without dreamgate is working harder not smarter. Especially when all the enemies respond when you bench.

You can't dreamgate this quest anymore they made it so it breaks the flower in the the godseeker dlc

I enjoy these vids a lot even though I've done everything there is to do in hollow knight.
Quick tip:
The flower dosn't get destroied when you bench warp ( quit out , so you respawn at the last bench you rested ) Most of the NPCs that have an interaction with the flower are near a bench , there is a station rigth above the grave (Traidor's Child) , dirtmoth's bench (Elder Bug) and near Oro's hut
I feel stupid cause it took me longer to figure out how to turn on the lighthouse than it did to climb up to the top
I like watching these videos when I've already finished the objective the video is trying to help me achieve

If you wanna cheese it, you can first set a dream gate at the grey mourner’s place (don’t get the flower) bench near wherever you want to give the flower, then dream gate back to grey mourner, get the flower, save quit, and then reload the file, walk the minuscule distance left, (which considering what’s left for the actual flower quest, might pose a challenge for you lot, not you windy, you’re doing great). And flower quest done, easy. Note if you don’t have or don’t want to use dream gate, just walk to the grey mourner and don’t bench anywhere. Dream gate makes it way faster tho.
