    I don't care about the Bronny storyline. It isn't authentic, it's forced and several strings behind the scenes had to happen for this to happen. The Griffey's was a true moment. They both deserved to share the field

    • @complexity5545
      @complexity5545 8 годин тому

      They don't get it -- they have hopium because they wish their dead-beat daddy would've been there to drop them into the family business. Seeing LeBron promote Bronny reminds them of what they think their absent father could've, should've would've done. But they don't understand that most good fathers don't buy their kids spots on teams, but install a rigorous understanding of self worth by helping their offspring find what their good at. Bronny is not elite at basketball. Lebron is doing Bronny a huge life disserve. He's on the path to being a lesser man. Bronny can never be LeBron, like I know my dad can never be as good as me in my line of work and I could never be as good as my dad in his line of work.
      LeBron's just doing what he thinks good dad is supposed to do -- buy their kid the world, but he doesn't know it makes them worse. Bronny's should be learning how turn Daddy's fortune into more money. I bet Bronny is not smart at all -- he plays basketball not smart like a 13 year old -- he doesn't know how to use screens or run plays. I hope he gets better though.

    It's crazy because you can tell bronny does not look up to his dad like you would think, he even says 5:30 that "he never thought about playing with his dad" basically clarifying that this is his dad's dream, not his. How do you never think of playing with your dad who is arguably, the best player to ever play the game. I've never heard bronny praise his dads game and work ethic.
    He doesn't seem to be picking his dads brain about basketball and going over film with him. In all of bronny interviews, he never says his dad inspired him to play - he just says he wants to make a name for himself. He wants dissociation from his father so he has less pressure. He probably never wanted to play basketball, like space jam said. He wants to design & play video games, but felt the pressure to follow in his fathers footsteps.
    The first time they check in together, bronny doesn't even smile or dap up his father at 7:22 and at one point bronny looks back at the bench and lebron looks like he was about to smile and say something to bronny but then realized bronny wasn't looking at him.

      @@ComedyBros5 I would like to see him breakthrough too. And you’re spot on about him being one of dozens of players with his build. And just being way behind them in IQ and skillset.
      The only thing impressive about him. Is how he has handled the off the court coverage. That kind of attention and microscope would be very difficult to deal with. Especially at 20. So maybe his game will one day catch up to how tough he is mentally.

    Jordan vs. LeBron James... I watched Jordan in his prime, and it's a completely different style of play. Jordan was explosive, he gave as good as he got, whether it was a regular season game or a playoff final.
    LeBron James? It's about longevity, perseverance, in short, everything that has to do with endurance. After that? It remains a personal point of view, but for me, I'll borrow Kurt Cobain's words: "It's better to burn out than to fade away." :-) No hate, just an opinion, from an old-school fan who will always prefer his idol (thanks to confirmation bias!)."

    - Tij Iginla (son of famous winger Jarome Iginla), drafted in June at sixth overall by the Utah Hockey Club
    - Tyler Boucher (son of retired ex-goalie Brian Boucher), drafted 10th during the 2021 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators
