As a young teenager myself, the natty or nots have shown realistic expectations in terms of what is achievable and what is not. Instead of what Mike said, saying that it discourages us to workout. If anything showing us unrealistic physiques and telling the majority that it’s obtainable is what causes the discouragement. It is definitely detrimental to tell young kids you're a natty when you're legit using the stuff, coach Greg is right. When I was younger I worked like an animal, and there were friends I knew that suddenly got bigger, and it hurt my self-esteem thinking they were doing so much better than me. Later I found out there were on a few different roids (sust, tren, and d-bol), which was fine, but it sucked that they lied for a couple years. I just think they should've been open about it because they claimed natty and I would think "why are they getting so much bigger? I was bigger than them before lol" I had another friend that was natty, and i would say "dude, I think they're doing something and not telling us because why are they suddenly so much bigger and stronger". It really wasn't an issue when I found out, like they were still our friends, I just remember saying "Why didn't you just tell us?"

Just wanted to say: I am 48 years old, and dropped 25 pounds of fat between October 2020 and June 2021 (from 214 to 189), because of better diet (not fad diets, just eating better), and exercised every day. Went from about 24% BF down to my current 17-18%. I don't look amazing, but I do look like I train now, and people actually comment on my muscle definition (meaning I now have some 😄). Since June 2021, I have not gained the fat back (my skin caliper measurements are the same now as in June 2021), but by shifting my training goals, and putting in the effort, I have gained about 13 pounds of muscle in a little over 14 months (now at 202 pounds). All of this to say that I follow Greg's advice: don't aspire to look like fake nattys, but aspire to be better then your were, and stay that way. And it works very well for me... Just try to be better. Right now, starting my journey to try and reach 15% BF, but I am in NO hurry, still enjoying life and the occasional fast foods... 🙂

If people wouldn't get their progress automatically discredited and attributed 100% to steroids, then I *guarantee* way more people would come out saying they take steroids.. Many (not all) people who take steroids don't even want to hide it but why admit to using them if people will say all their progress came from the steroids? ANY person who knows even a little about steroids and exercise knows that you can't just take steroids and sit around doing nothing and get impressive big. You still HAVE to put in a TON of work in diet and exercise. not to mention genetics... easily. at least half of those on steroids don't even look like they are.. because of bad genetics or not strict enough diet or exercise.

Thank you for telling the truth. Us newbies need to know what is realistic or not in order not to feel "wrong" or "broken". If someone wants to use juice no problem just please be honest about it 🙂💪

Don’t worry Greg. You always tell us to go harder than last time AND if you’re not on peds, then go even harder than last time to compete. Also your recipes helped me and my eating disorder back in 2019/2020. You encourage people.

I think Mike is not lying. He truly believes he is natural. There is no way someone can be lying so much for so long, with such conviction. He is not a liar, that's some serious case of delusion.

@@abdulmateen5760 could be that he sees himself playing the real world role of a fake natty and so he believes he is acting and believes he is natural in that acting role.
