If you play an A power chord on the E string and the rest of the strings open alternating in time with the rhythm you can create a very similar sound to the original recording

I think thwy play a G chord on top of the A power chord in the orginial, so to make it more realistic you can play the 3rd fret on the 6th string

My fiancée (fiddle, cello) has recently picked up the bass to accompany us on rock songs etc. I wanted to show her that bass can be up front at the lead sometimes too, so we’re learning this song. It’s also a cheeky song to play with your girlfriend after a fight with same. This is very helpful for learning my part and getting the rythym of the wailing intro down right. Thanks.
