I also have a Arlen ness air cleaner (the inverted series) and had a RSD Turbine on my sportster. What I dislike about those big guys (the cleaners) is the big black spacers on the breather bolt keep you away from adding an external breather kit. Or I haven’t found the way around it yet. These EBK Are pretty useful to keep the engine healthy
Just picked up my first twin cam used to my old evo, stuck between two tuners, TTS or a power vision 3 or 4 I have v&h long shots and going to a thunderheader 2-1 and the method clear intake just curious what yall recommend
So I run this same filter set up. I live in oregon and ride year round and get stuck riding in rain . Ive noticed even with rain sock my bike running real bad . Is this common for this type set up?
Installed mine on my 2019 street bob with cobra short shots Have a tuner with high air flow cleaner on it but when I start the bike it recs really hard around 4000 rpm, do you know why this is
K & N sells a clean and recharge kit for reusable air filters, basically you run the nipple of the bottle down each crease of the filter untill it’s a uniform red color, you don’t use much oil just enough to turn the filter red, NOT have oil running all over hell and half of creation then reassemble the air cleaner and your good to go

Most overlooked aspect of install. Can ruine expensive components by gorilla method. Beautiful filter assembly.
Mine came with 2 shooter tubes but not sure what they are for instructions are not a clear image to see where they go

Wanna buy this for my 02 softail but is it not in the way for your legs? Like that you leg wil hit it when you ride it

Yes, all bikes use the breather bolt spacers included in the kit.
It appears that the breather bolts get covered with those steel plates. Does the heads still breath well?
Yes, there are passages machined behind the plates.
The bolt is what’s called a banjo bolt, it has a hollow passage running down the middle of it
how do you get a gasket for this?
the AC kit will come with the gasket.
