I can't recall a movie that captivated me as much as interstellar. During the failed docking-scene, i literally forgot to breathe. I've seen alot of good movies, but Interstellar is on a whole new level.
I was so worried Nolan would make TARS and CASE like HAL9000s. On the contrary they were the comedic relief! Really enjoyed their screentime and the fact that they were practically made by the film production and not CGI added more personality to them
I laughed, was visually stunned, intrigued by the plot, and i cried. this is what a movie should be... not sharknado or the sisterhood of traveling pants.
What an amazing movie. Please people, please see it. It's not hype, it's really worth your time. You can really tell they all cared a lot about making it a high quality film.
I definitely had to see this movie again in theaters. I still felt as effected by it even on the second viewing, started getting teary eyed at all the same spots, felt my heart racing at the docking scene (ADRENALINEEEEEE), felt all the tension building up to Mann about to get himself killed - its my favorite movie in years. A sci-fi lover's dream come true, especially if you're familiar with hard science fiction books.
This was the first movie I ever watched twice in the same week at the local cinema. This was instantly my favorite movie of all time, and practically blasted away my previous impression of science fiction. This movie will win oscars, there is no way around it, it is incredible!
No oscars sadly. Something is wrong with this world. Thats why we have to leave it. Mankind was made to do that. First we gotta figure out whats up with gravity. Then we'll have a plan A
Hey, chin up. It got the oscar for the visual effects. But It should definitely have won more oscars. Hands down the most intense cinema expreience I ever had, and that spinning sequence will go down in tense moment-history!
Interstellar got a 75% from critics on rotten tomatoes, 89% from users. I saw it with my girlfriend this past Saturday, loved it! Very emotional to watch the astronauts navigate to those 3 planets and get updates from their families.
Matthew could have won a consecutive Oscar for Interstellar. My favorite performance from him. It's one of the best films I've watched especially for me who is not into space films.
+ZeaMoore4 you're out of your mind. 2001: ASO is a masterpiece (but you have to be patient, I admit I got bored a bit the first time i watched it). Interstellar is entertaining, but it doesn't really matter. 2001: ASO is an important piece of art, which deals with themes that hadn't been dealt with before in ways that hadn't been used before. Interstellar is just a footnote to 2001: ASO.
I just cant stop watching this movie.. Have watched it atleast 15-20 times already. m glued to it. Literally have no words to express my love for it..!!
I remember that night after leaving the cinema... It's like I'm operating on a higher level. This movie, in my opinion, is the best movie I've ever watched - so far.
This was a great amazing movie from start to finish I loved everything about this movie. The acting was great the story the special effects the score by hans zimmer was great . Christopher nolan is a very awesome and talented director and he's one hell of a story teller.
Matthew's acting was waaaay ahead its time. It defies description. Especially when he was behind the bookshelf in the tesseract. The scene where he says > don't let me leave murph.... man, that was intense. Only a few people can understand what his acting there was about. You can't act that if you haven't been through some great emotional pain in your life. Almost impossible to overcome... So... it seems like what doesn't kill you makes you stronger is true :D After all it has made him an incredible actor. Thank you for this Matthew. Thank you just for this scene. Most people think that actors have it all given you know. THAT IS NOT TRUE. Guys, You have no idea how much things you have to go through to shape such character. To be able to express emotions in such a way...
i remember seeing this when it came and thinking it was boring ( i think i was 11) but watching it now a few years later i finally appreciate the cinematic master piece
when it came out my local cinema at the time only ran interstellar for 2 weeks i was gutted that i missed it but i bought later on blu ray and it was amazing !! Emotional and v moving my fav sci fi Would have liked to have seen it on the big screen though.
Interstellar= best movie in the whole universe
