Whoa, cool to see this video blowing up again! BUT a lot has changed since I made it, the show is no longer available on AMC+, BUT Seasons 1 and 2 were released on Amazon Prime in New Zealand and Australia. We’re still waiting on a service to carry the show in the US, which I expect will happen before too long! But do not sign up for AMC+ expecting to be able to see it. Fuck those guys.

Watched it. In my view this is the second matrix trilogy and exposed alot of truth. From vaxx, the wars etc.
It’s really good work, be proud, it’s great to get content that has a modern viewpoint with being woke or uptight, just spot on. Love the emojicon even though I don’t get half of them it’s Brilliantly now.
S2 was amazing. You should make an update video. Even if you haven't seen s2, it would be helpful to get the word out about it. I barely saw any advertisement.
Also, for anyone wondering, s2 is basically the ending. Everything is wrapped up. Glad the creators were able to make a mostly satisfying (if a bit confusing) ending.
Really hoping that successes like Scavengers Reign will help boost your work and others!

I saw plenty of ads on facebook. It's just that it's on AMC. I got netflix and amazon, and share hulu and disney.
I'm just not paying for another fucking streaming service....

S2 was disappointing. One-dimensional characters, unmotivated plot, broken rules. Basically another series entirely

It's one of the few shows that has thrown me into a mild depression for a couple days upon completion. I immediately hopped back to s1e1 when I finished and rewatched the first season.

Another adult animated show that’s definitely underrated and deserves a bigger audience. See also: Undone and Onyx Equinox. At least it has another season guaranteed.

You know, for me it's kind of ironic that this show is called "Pantheon", because for the longest time after DC comics lost the rights to the name Captain Marvel to Marvel and started calling Billy Batson's superhero alter-ego Shazam (The word he says to transform, and the name of the wizard who gave him his powers), I was wondering why didn't they start calling him Pantheon. It made more since instead of his name being the word he says to transform because if people asked him what's his superhero name, and he said Shazam, he runs the risk of transforming without meaning to. Plus the fact that he literally gets his powers from a pantheon of legendary gods and heroes.
Thanks for a great suggestion, Johnny! I noticed an interesting detail: Caspian’s surname is Keyes just like Daniel Keyes who wrote Flowers for Algernon where the main plot line was also the decay of mind.

Yah I watched the first episode on Prime, and it seems perfect for me, but the AMC+ for more episodes is a deal breaker. Very unfortunate.

Buuuuut, I'd only suggest doin that in cases where you REALLY have no other way to watch something coz ppl/creators should be paid & rewarded what they deserve for all their hard work. So if anyone really doesn't have any other way of watchin this show or doesn't have the $ and really wants to see it just let me know in a reply and I'll tell you a safe place where you can watch it, but we're usin the damn honor system so only ask if you really have no other way of seein this show otherwise support the creators of this show coz they really do deserve it, this show is TRULY Great!)

So happy to see people talking about this! I was so excited to get my partner into it, it's just amazing! Also, in the later fight scenes, I almost saw it as a depiction of fighting in 4 dimensions, with them seeming to exist across an additional plane, extending between multiple locations.

I watched your video a week ago then started watching the series yesterday and finished 2 seasons today and man was that the coolest thing I have seen in some time...I have watched soo many movies and TV shows that at this point there is almost nothing that I can't predict in a show or a movie scene but coming from that guy this show doesn't let you predict...Totally worth it..For the first time I am saying this for something " Criminally Underrated ". Pantheon has literally become my favorite show of all time. Maybe it's just because it involves a lot of concepts I work with, but I genuinely loved this show more than anything else I had ever seen.

Thank you so much for talking about the show in such a clear and concise way- I know when I’ve tried to recommend this show to friends I have a bit of difficulty explaining the story without giving too much away plot wise but your video does an excellent job of summarizing what is so great and overall charming about the series
Anyways thank you again for shinning a spotlight on this series since it really does deserve a lot of love in this time where western animation seems to be getting thrown under the bus by big studios
from the reviews I new this show was gunna be good, but I was not ready for how good, like so good it almost brought a tear to my eye on several occasions, and that takes dam good writing. And now it pains me no one else i know has ever even heard of this master piece of a show, let alone watched it.
Finished it two weeks ago. Loved the story. Definitely excited to see animated shows with deeper, more intelligent, more sophisticated story lines. Worth a watch!

Yeah I've seen pantheon and I can agree that it's a pretty great show, but it's crazy how the marketing has been so bad that us UA-camrs basically have to do the marketing for whoever runs amc +,which is kinda sad Because pantheon deserves a larger audience and despite it getting a season 2 there's so much more they could explore with more time if you know what I mean

The Indian tech giant Prasad is based on Mukesh Ambani and I knew that the moment they first introduced him. Him flying around in his chopper while the people of slums living next to his magnificent house was an accurate portrayal of the tech giant. The research team did their best job. Same and same. I'm one episode away from finishing and holy crap... this show. It made me FEEL things again, awe, depression, elation, anxiety, excitement, just all the maximum feels. Been a while since I was this inexorably riveted by a story (and I'm viciously picky with the shows/movies I give my time to).

I watched the whole show in a couple of days and I feel so empty now that I finished it and found out season 2 is just in Limbo. It was amazing and I really enjoyed it a lot. Hopefully someones picks up season 2.

just finished the final episode and wow this was probably the best ending ive seen in animation yet... while i love the ending of atla and fmab as well they both have a end of journey ending to it, or with arcane s1 a big cliffhanger but this felt like a finale that toasted your brain just to be put in a blender but regardless absolutely amazing show, i especially think the ending elevates the whole show to another level and it already was solid to begin with

You may not have made the show but for me you were the most important stepping stone towards me viewing it (a little dramatic lol but I did just finish watching the ending of season 2) anyways if you ever wonder if your videos are worth it, then it most definitely has for me. I would definitely need to see the full list of all of these cancelled animation projects. I’m betting I’ve watched some of them as well as others that have even yet to be released. It’s probably horrific to see. I have no idea why they’ve done this when demand is just increasing and many people want to work on these projects, but they were dumped for the sake of more possible live-action generic rubbish.

I just found out season 2 was released earlier this year and I binged the whole thing in under 12 hours.
At some point in this video early on at 1:35 or something it's been said that they were working on season 2 when this video was made, which must have been around 11 to 12 months ago... and I DISTINCTLY remember that AMC had canceled pantheon season 2 all the way back at the start of 2022 while it was reportedly finished and ready to release a year ago at least.
I'll admit, that gave me a pause, but, as always, this was a really good showcase of a largely obscure series that ended spectacularly.
It kind of amazes me that they would cancel it when the second season was already finished, considering how the second season concludes.

Just finished it after having a personal hiatus after seeing episode 2. It is kind of sad it has been cancelled despite there already being finished s2 episodes, but in a way you can still enjoy its current finale as its own kind of ending, with an unknown future.
Amazon Prime picked up Season 2 for October 15th.

I assume when animation is mentioned only US produced animation is included. If we expand to outside the US Japan is ground centre for animation, with Korea and China doing some very good work as well. Youjo Senki, which is primarily a story about the struggle between logic and faith, is surprisingly deep. If you are not interested in the depth then you can just enjoy the great action. Goblin Slaver is a deep story about a man’s fanatical struggle to ensure what occurred to his sister will never occur again, but resulting in a severely damaged personality. Uncle from another world, on Netflix, is a tragedy dressed up as a comedy and Romantic Killer, also on Netflix, is surprising entertaining as well as exploring deep human emotions.
I had tears of joy in my eyes while finishing 2nd season. It's definitely the best sci-fi I have seen till date! ❤

While I'm in early, it might not be your vibe, but I think Kid Cudi's animated short film Entergalactic is a must watch. Its like Into the Spiderverse animation crossed with a very New York love story. 100% recommend

one of the reasons this show understands the internet becouse the writes do. the tv hacker tropes we all know are a thing becouse the show righters are boomers. we are just now getting to the where maillanioals are head righters. we have a deeper understanding of the internent and tech then any ganeration before or after us. so we can write tech stories better. gen z is good at tech to but there mostly moblie and used to moblie ui so thier actaul level of tech skill is now on avarge.
