I ALMOST ALMOST SIT DOWN TO WATCH YOUR VIDEOS WITH POPCORN, IT IS A VISUAL DELIGHT. YOUR WORK WILL ALWAYS BE AN IMPORTANT REFERENCE FOR ME WHEN I RETURN PHOTOGRAPHY.
@@lindsayadlerphoto I have been following you for more than 5 years, I identify a lot with your work, it is elegant, tasteful, very fine. The best thing is that every time you surprise creatively. I find that a bit difficult to maintain. I applaud you
As a photographer, watching your work and tutorials is like watching an immersive art gallery. Simply beautiful. I’ve learned so much from you. Lindsay, than you so much for sharing your talent.
Lindsay's videos are so magnetic and she has such a charismatic way of teaching that I cannot help myself from glueing my eyes to the screen! I adore the way you work and the creativity you awake in me. Thank you so much, Lindsay!
very cool! I used this lighting set up with a red tulip in front of a soft box with a black mat board blocking out the middle 2/3rds of the soft box to give the tulip a beautiful glow
Truly beautiful image, wow funny how sometimes although things look complex they are actually quite simple. Thank you Lindsay Adler for sharing so much of your creative process, much success to you and your Team in everything!
What a proud photograph proudly carrying the Lindsay Adler signature. First time listening/watching the video, I visually missed the BTS section around 1:03 and paused and kept looking at 4:03. An old experienced man in a state of confusion, how did she do that - light seems to come from above, below and left and right, plus it is a bit hard in the contours. Then I went back to the beginning and there it was - of course - Howie did it.
Hello Lindsay, I have tried this today in a shoot with my friends and results were stunning ! I will post on IG and tag you in them! Thank you very much this was very useful!
Wow, this is so amazing, I'm speechless! I'm about to buy my first studio lens, trying to decide between 24-70 2.8 or the RF 24-105, would you recommend either of them?
Sometime I have to watch you w no sound and I still feel like I can follow along. Not sure if you have an interest ever considered it but you would make a dope professor I think
Hello from Lviv, Ukraine! I’m over here doing volunteer work with the refugee crisis, but I still take time to watch your videos. Another great one!
Hope you're staying safe.

♥️♥️♥️♥️ amazing !
Lindsay Awesome.
Great Video, I’ve also seen this setup and effect done by Gavin Hooey on Adorama Tv recently. Maximum impact and pop with a relatively simple setup.
I've been doing it for years. :)
I really like the headpiece from the designer you got it from. Awesome!!
Thank you!

Well I mean I do teach lol. :D
@@lindsayadlerphoto facts. You're world class
So good! When adding your gels to the soft box, does 1 gel give you that much intensity? Or are you layering? Just curious!
Lindsay, i have a question, the second light is a strobo o permanent light. Thank you
It's a Profoto D2 which is a strobe.
I have a question: Do you use a color checker (x-rite) when you put a color gel on your main light?
Not really unless I have to get accurate colors for a brand/commercial work. I generally tweak the colors (like I did here) anyway.
When you add gels to softboxes are the gels the same size as the box or are you using regular sized gels?
Definitely not the same size as the box. They don't need to be. They are just a size large enough to fit over the light.
How to use Gel on the lamp with softbox?
The gel is over the light in the softbox.
@@lindsayadlerphoto but there is hot light? Is it not burn on the Light?
I mean, it's not exactly touching the light, so the risk is minimal.
this is a add
Uh, no it isn't. But thanks for commenting.
also its ad not add. lol
