    is the slant in your stop to prevent binding of the drop and saw?

      Yea I angle it a little when I clamp it down so the part can get out once it's cut

      @@NBSWELDING should the more open end of the angle be in the direction of saw rotation or the other way? thanks for the tip. I buggerred up my saw base by having a straight stop and don't want to have that happen again. any help appreciated. love the videos and enjoy seeing you make stuff in your shop to keep 'merica moving forward.

      @peetky8645 yes the more open angle needs to be direction of the saw rotation to let the part out without getting pinched between the stop and the blade
