    That almost looks like a chemical burn, like some kind of break fluid got on the paint. Great job addressing the issue!

    Good video but definitely not burnt through. Burnt through clear clear if you try to polish or sand what have you it will create the burnt through area larger and you have to apply more clear coat then sand and polish

    Hi how did you remove the paint patch , surely you need to add paint before you polish?

      In this case, do not watch the entire procedure carefully

    Your a Master. Question I use a touch up paint on a bumper that I'm practicing on and the paint is still not dry completely and it's been over 24 hours. What should I do to get this paint to dry like it should ?

    • @Amddetailing
      @Amddetailing  Рік тому +1

      it could be that you put a little hardener or a lot, that's why it's important to put exactly how much it says on the box from the manufacturer, it should dry in 24 hours, leave it for another 12 hours and see what happened, if even then it doesn't work, wipe everything and mix again

      @@Amddetailing I applied it just the way I got it from the paint shop. Did I had to add the hardener and clear to it before applying ? I'm not sure if this paint when is prepared for the car if prepared with hardener.

    You can’t sand a burn through. I do like your work, but both of your videos on this subject are clearly not burn through issues. A touch misleading, even though you did remove whatever the issue actually was.

      When you know what to do, there is no problem😉

      @@Amddetailing I am an established detailer in the UK, so I do know what to do when you get a real burn through on lacquer and that’s having to paint over it. Once you’ve gone through, there isn’t a way of turning back the clock unfortunately. So what was the actual issue with the paintwork as it looked raised and lumpy? A burn has a very different look in being very flat and smooth.

    Hello! A stupid mechanic did a touch up on a deep scratch without filling the scratch! Which led to paint flowing down the scratch! How can I fix it!?
