Here's a tip: the Blue Falcon is actually better with automatic drift rather than manual. You don't gain much from the mini-turbos as the mini-turbo stat is low, and the drift isn't good either, so it's better to use automatic drift as that prevents you from noticeably losing speed while turning. That's why the world record on the Spear on DS Peach Gardens also uses automatic drift.
Blue Falcon is faster on manual on all tracks except DK Summit, but it's certainly much easier on automatic. It is one of the better choices for automatic kart out there, but the only karts that really benefit from automatic are Sprinter (B Dasher MK 2) and Jetsetter (aero glider), and even then both of these are karts are generally faster on manual in time trials, but in online races automatic would be preferred.
@@photobro123 if this player has this level of skill, he 100% has done on another save file - they arent hard to unlock. also, some vehicles and characters REQUIRE you to have time trail times with expert staff ghosts in order for him to match the time trial combo.

tbh for me the only expert ghost i significantly struggled with when i very recently beat all of them was Bowser's Castle. Unlike the DK Jungle mountain race thing you cant do any cool new shortcuts and unlike Rainbow Road you can't beat them with just better movement and play, you basically have to do everything they do absolutely perfectly for 3 laps straight and that gets frustrating when they're already almost perfect at it
I would say that the Rainbow Road Fast Staff Ghost has to be the hardest one yet. Despite this, I only lost to the Fast Staff Ghost time on that course by a bit less than 2 seconds.
