Just returned the Bosh 800 series unit. Over $1200 and the thing won't dry dishes without paying for special rinse consumables ... unacceptable!

Either you were doing something wrong or the unit had a fault that needed service . The Bosch unit do dry if you know how to use it and have the right settings without using any rinse aids , there is a extra dry feature in settings to activate the heating element to a higher temperature at the last rinse cycle to help dry the dishes. You probably did not get the right help from a experienced technician. I’m a master technician with 30 plus years and have worked with different brands and Bosch is one of the best .

Hydrosfer Did you know that 50% of America companies are now owned by foreign companies? All garage door openers were consolidated and then purchased by Japan. Smithfield Foods, the world's largest hog producer and pork producer located in the Carolinas, purchased Farmland Foods. Then these combined companies were purchased by a company from China. Since more and more companies within the United States of America are being purchased by foreign companies, it is Japan, China, Canada, etc reaping huge profits, and not the USA.

Hydrosfer And because of that, it's misleading when the media only reports made in the United States of America because they companies owned by foreign countries reap the huge profits and keep our wages and benefits low.

All of those dishwashers, except maybe Miele are sub-par, using old technology that wont clean anything except perfectly placed, lightly soiled dishes. I can't believe you actually recommended those.

Rachel Hier I'm using an older lg and it works pretty good dry good to I use the sanitize setting always that gets it hot enough to dry the dishes. I also always rinse the dishes before loading the dishes like I was always taught and try on leave room for the water to circulate in the machine.
Doing this inhavrnt had one issue out of lg dishwasher it is now 6 years old.

The "Whirlpool PowerDry Dishwasher - ADP 900 IX" and any similar dishwasher that has an auxiliary, high pressure, vertical sprayers which let you place more dishes and clean pans with hard soil without scrubbing them manually.

The Bosch does a fantastic job cleaning. Also the brand with the least repairs.

I love the LG they mention in the very beginning. Originally $700, on sale for $549, I got an additional 10% off for $498. And it has new technology. New quad wash (4 arms) has been proven to work! A quiet 48dbi. And their is an extra drying mode that ensures spotless and dry dishes. It beat out various higher end models costing twice as much. And the interior is stainless steel, foldable tins, top rack has 3 adjustment levels, and energy efficient.
