Trick or Bid's cancelling cards seem like they'd generate nice surprises, normally underpowered cards wreaking havoc! Also the "no one won so next time it's worth double" is a cool way to create tension, when it happens. If anything, it seems like it might not happen often enough! It's cool to imagine a game based only around that concept.
Yeah, you have to be careful with low bids for sure. All the sudden your 1 or 2 might win if the other cards get canceled, especially in a 3 player game.
Trick or Bid looks great. Simple-enough, streamlined game with a fitting and fun theme. Can the trump suit change during a round? Or is it always just the 1st bid card taken? Tip of the Diceberg is a cool idea, but I think the combo of dice and cards would be really fiddly. "Oops I bumped the dice, what number was that?" And there is a lot going on - not necessarily complex, but very involved. Good for the right group, but not as "accessible" imho. Great overview of these games! Looking forward to more content on the LOTR game @20:30 - SO COOL!! :)
That's the elevator pitch. Started with all dice climber, then went to dice plus cards to figure out a cheaper way to produce the game. The idea of not following melds was really fun to play around with so, there you have it.

Ooo yeah 3 player is spicy for sure!
I found the wolf ears lying on the table incredibly distracting 😂

Trick or bid trump always is the suit of the first taken bid card. It won't change after it is set.
Cheeers CCG!!!! And Jon has captured your questions, so i'll just say LOTR hype!!
So Tip of the Diceberg is the baby of Sumida River and Nokosu Dice basically?
