    Hi Sam:
This is a great review. I think I have heard of these, but I've never laid my hands on a pair. I started using the ones by After Shokz (now just known as Shokz) when they first came out, and once my first pair died, I got a second, the Trekz Titanium which I still have today. I wonder if the ones in this video are very similar to those in design? I don't use my Shokz for anything other than when I'm traveling and need to use my GPS.
I can definitely see why many people would find the constant vibrating annoying. I have tried some of the later units by Shokz and the vibration issue is much less than it is with the older sets.
I love the additional feature of an MP3 player on the ones you reviewed. I also love that they cost under $100. I guess my only question is how does the quality sound either on a phone call or if you are recording a message in an app such as WhatsApp?

I use a similar make but mainly to use with Soundscape when out in unsure places with my Guide dog or sometimes to listen to music when at home so I can listen out for the doorbell etc 😊

What great timing of this video…I finally killed my Bluetooth headphones. I like the features of these, they put my old ones to shame. I don’t like the ones in my ear, as they start to hurt after a while. But, for music, I use my stereo headphones. I agree with you about the extra distractions Sam. Great video and appreciate your honest critique. Hope all is well with you and your family. ❤️😄

Hi Sam, just wanted to add that being able to hear the headphones when you’re not wearing them is a feature, not a bug. I misplaced my Shikoku yesterday and was able to quickly find them by turning up the volume and playing music.

I use Shocks, and have for over 2 years! I love them. To me the only negative is when flying. The vibration from the plane diminishes the sound from the shocks.

Shokz is good product,Except that the price is a little expensive
"The vibration from the plane diminishes the sound from the shocks."At present, there is no good solution to this problem, and the whole industry needs to continue to explore.

Thanks, Sam! I wonder if something like this would be good for me. I don't always like using regular ear buds because then I REALLY can't hear anything else. I'll have to see if those headphones would work even if I was wearing my hearing aids!

I wish you had demo’d the microphone quality. I use the aftershocks bone conducting headphones and like them, but I get many complaints on microphone quality. Also, it’s difficult to hear in planes.

How does one find a podcast in the directory with no screen to scroll through? I would likely just listen to music but curious how to find desired items ?

I have some Finnis bone conducting headphones for swimming, and they work great. But if I want to hear good sound and still hear my environment, then Air Pods Pro are hard to beat. And they work with Soundscape.

What were the in ears on the neck string that you had? I’m after some as I constantly lose individual earbuds and I am not comfortable using my bone conducting headphones when I am using my sunglasses and needing a face mask! My ears aren’t big enough to hold everything up!

Well it’s true that the bone conducting headphones shouldn’t damage the eardrum any perceived loud noise could theoretically damage the hair cells which are the setting cells for hearing and I want to get damaged during long-term exposure to loud noise. At least that’s my understanding I am not a doctor but I have talked to some people about hearing loss since I suffer from quite severe tinnitus as well as being severely visually impaired. having said that there should be no problem with sounds at reasonable levels no I use some active noise cancelling earphones if I’m going to be at an event with loud noise since I still take place in some motoring events with my father that does happen from time to time.

      @wissonly Рік тому

Absolutely right.Bone conduction headphones are safe and health, but their sound quality is not good as noise cancelling headphones.

How are the fit with smaller ears? I have an issue with in the ear ear phones. Half of them are to big and pop out to easily. So wonder if these would be loose? Did you try them out running. i enjoy running on the wooded trails. Which means hopping over/around things. Og course there is the occaional trip and fall because I didn't see somthing. I know stick to roads but the wooded trails are fun. Anychance of testing them ina "fake fall" to see how well they stay. I would hate to have them come off on a trail because I tripped and not be able to fnd them since I have SD. Are there any smaller/snug fitting bone conduction headphones you would recommend?

      Stakeholder statement:this is wissonly brand.
Aftershokz is NO.1 bone conduction headphones. In fact, many of our designers and engineers have worked for aftershokz.
Our product is like Aftershokz headphones. However, under the same product parameters, our products are more cost-effective than theirs
