- Welcome back to another chill 4K build :). I've been waiting to build this board for a while now since picking it up from Ashkeebs last year. The leaf spring mount is truly unique and sounds/feels dreamy. Combined with the FR4 plate, the board sounds very crisp and clear. I'm excited to look into some plateless or half plate builds for this! I also had a chance to use some of the famed HMX Xinhai switches, and I can see why they're getting so much hype. I think this is the first stock switch I've been satisfied with! Thanks for watching and reading, hope you're all having a great start to 2024!

I got the salvation too and I have got to say. It. Is. Amazing. The sound quality with the gateron ink black v2s make it sound like a clean clack on the spacebar and a muted clack on the keys. The enter has a sound like a hollow water bottle being hit by a soft finger. But no other keys sound hollow and there is no ping. I built mine with all the screws on the pcb because i felt it was a little to loose with just 2 screws. I rate this board a solid 9.8/10. The reason i dont rate it a 10 is because of the hollow enter key, but the keyboard sounds SUPER full and I seriously do not regret purchasing this amazing board. Alexotos and many other youtubers got me so interested in this board. It isnt budget but it is definetly not overpriced. It the perfect board you would want for that very full clean clack signature. Even though I put gateron ink blacks into the fr4 plate it does not sound thocky AT ALL. And that is exactly what i wanted. You may be wondering why i am not saying any cons about this board...that is because this board ticks all the boxes for me. This is also all my opinion. But i know that this board is my endgame and I wont be changing. Thanks for reading. Bye.
So glad you're enjoying it! I've really been loving it as well and I'm excited to try a halfplate build. Its a simple board but really unique and well executed
@@CappuccinoKeyshow are you finding these specific gmk keycaps? Because I purchase some Amazon abs Keycaps for 38 pounds. Do you think I should purchase these gmk Keycaps? Because they look really good and sound good…hoping if it will be an improvement in sound…thanks and great vid!
@@zanealcazar5579 Hey! unfortunately I don't have much experience with other ABS keycaps to compare, but I'd highly recommend GMK. They're quite thick and sound very clean compared to PBT or some of the PBTFans ABS caps, definitely an upgrade imo :)

Thoughts on the Xinhai's? Have u used HMX switches before? Where would you rank em in their lineup
really love them! first switch I've thought was flawless and consistent stock. sadly haven't used any other HMX switches yet but plan to after these!
@@CappuccinoKeys I think from all the reviews the Xinhai's are at the top along with the Cheese and Clouds. I used the Clouds and can say they're the best factory lubed switched I've used. Sound is marbly. Soo good
I highly recommend Xinhai. I'll give the clouds a try!
