Good for you for recording it. I once had a professor who tried to fail me because an online exam I submitted didn't go through due to a site error. I showed him video I took of the site not loading, and he still tried to fail me, claiming the error was on my end and I needed to make sure I have reliable internet when taking an online exam. Unfortunately for him, I also happen to work in IT, and went on in the video to cover all my bases, proving that the error was not, in fact, on my end. I had to go as far as contacting the department chair and sharing the video with him to get my professor to accept the exam.

I submitteed mine only a minute and a half before itwas due because it was being a pain in the ass and wasn't letting me use and download the document I had saved. I eventually withdrew from the class out of pure frustration.

CollegeBoard wouldn't have cared. They actually outlined at one point that lack of a stable connection didn't even necessarily qualify you to take the retest.

I've had so many more real-life experiences with the true horrors of life (deadlines) than I ever had dreams of the scariest fictional things. Like fr, people who had lag during quarantine are gonna be elderly by the time they're 25.
In my experience, it is a huge relief, but still absolutely nerve-wracking even after submitting, worrying that something went wrong or that you forgot something or got the deadline wrong. That might just be my crippling anxiety talking though. Honestly, even though the title says what is going to happen and this is someone else, this is still stressing me out and my heart is still pounding from the second-hand stress.

It's ironic because I was only allowed to upload it a few hours before the deadline and even though I finished it days before the system lagged and I took me a good 2 hours of struggling to upload
That dates back to this year's 1st semester when we had to do the midterm exams online. Not all students can finish quickly but I can depending on the subject difficulty. In spite of not slacking, many of my students were unable to submit at the last moment due to internet pressure and they were too afraid to have their marks go to waste so they had to report to the university office about that but they were lucky enough to pass eventually. Last year was okay, the final year exams weren't so long but with 4 hours in case something went wrong or someone had to find out the rules since they were open-book exams, so did I and everyone passed by default. Nowadays even with covid-19, we take exams in the university to overcome this problem again. Midterm exams might be either online or face-to-face depending on the circumstances while final year exams are more likely to be face-to-face. While I haven't experienced such a thing, I felt sorry for my students and you too, our teachers acknowledged the problem since in my country the internet is kinda sluggish.
I opted out of taking 2 AP exams that year and only took 2 of them (Yeah, in hindsight, 4 AP classes was not the move lol), and one of the gripes I remember was IB just electing to use your class grade as your exam grade, while AP basically said screw the students and had exams that felt more like in-class quizzes that sometimes pulled a fast one on you. I don't remember having upload issues, but I do remember seeing just how many different devices people would use to take their exams (WiiU, Switch, smart fridge, etc.) I'm glad you got your submission lol, I imagine there were thousands of simultaneous submissions at the last second creating such a lag spike

In my experience, it is a huge relief, but still absolutely nerve-wracking even after submitting, worrying that something went wrong or that you forgot something or got the deadline wrong. That might just be my crippling anxiety talking though.
Honestly, even though the title says what is going to happen and this is someone else, this is still stressing me out and my heart is still pounding from the second-hand stress.

It's ironic because I was only allowed to upload it a few hours before the deadline and even though I finished it days before the system lagged and I took me a good 2 hours of struggling to upload

That dates back to this year's 1st semester when we had to do the midterm exams online. Not all students can finish quickly but I can depending on the subject difficulty. In spite of not slacking, many of my students were unable to submit at the last moment due to internet pressure and they were too afraid to have their marks go to waste so they had to report to the university office about that but they were lucky enough to pass eventually. Last year was okay, the final year exams weren't so long but with 4 hours in case something went wrong or someone had to find out the rules since they were open-book exams, so did I and everyone passed by default. Nowadays even with covid-19, we take exams in the university to overcome this problem again. Midterm exams might be either online or face-to-face depending on the circumstances while final year exams are more likely to be face-to-face. While I haven't experienced such a thing, I felt sorry for my students and you too, our teachers acknowledged the problem since in my country the internet is kinda sluggish.

I opted out of taking 2 AP exams that year and only took 2 of them (Yeah, in hindsight, 4 AP classes was not the move lol), and one of the gripes I remember was IB just electing to use your class grade as your exam grade, while AP basically said screw the students and had exams that felt more like in-class quizzes that sometimes pulled a fast one on you. I don't remember having upload issues, but I do remember seeing just how many different devices people would use to take their exams (WiiU, Switch, smart fridge, etc.)
I'm glad you got your submission lol, I imagine there were thousands of simultaneous submissions at the last second creating such a lag spike
