For blended soups, I use large mason jars because it's so much easier to pour them into a bowl than spooning out of a container. I use that for freezing soups too. It saves containers for other things.
I love how you haven’t prepped 3 meals per day and also not the same food for the whole week! you can see that a lot on youtube and I would get bored if I had to eat the same thing every day. I enjoyed the video a lot ❤
this is exactly how i "meal prep!" I make a soup for the week, I make tempeh and tofu in containers. Salads i make most days because its easy. i pre cook rice and put it in individual servings in the freezer. and i bake a loaf of bread. this gets me and my partner through most of the week, with fresh stuff prepped the day of. My partner likes smoothies and he just makes those in the morning.
Awesome video! I would love to see more meal prep videos. I need the inspiration because I always want to do this and then get overwhelmed. I would especially love an easy vegan crockpot meals video. Or freezer prep meals that you put together on the weekend and then toss in the crockpot before work!
I've been watching your videos from the beginning and although I secretly miss your little kitchen where you had little "luxury" (don't get me wrong because I mean this positively!), I'm also starting to get used to the Madeleine in this beautiful kitchen . You look happy and radiant, completely in your element. Don't be discouraged by "trolls" or "haters" because they only hate their own lives. Let it be (and remain) an encouragement to do what you love. :)
I think it would be great if people make more of these make ahead pastries, bars, breakfast cookies, dried goods ect.. like food that takes up a lot less space, can easily store in thw freezer or pantry and doesn't require building a bowl or throwing together a salad at the time of consumption
Living my pre motherhood life through this video while my toddler naps on me. I do miss a Sunday afternoon in the kitchen but I am sure they will come back to me some day. ❤️
This video has given me such inspiration! My fiance and I can finally move in together in a couple of months, and I'll finally be done with school! I've been so excited to cook for both of us. I love to cook, but I know the reality is that we'll both be busy during the week, and I'll want to chill after work. This video is helping with my planning. Thank you!
You did really well Madeleine on your first prep for breakfast and lunches. The food looked good to eat 🤣, pardon the pun. Gonna check out some more of your video's.🥰🐾
Loooved this video !! So excited to see more if you feel like it ! 😃😃😃 Just a word of caution : it's advised not to freeze twice a product, because the bacterias who werent kill by the first freeze, would grow when reheat and become prolific by the second defreeze :)
Frozen, pressed, and grated(large side of a box grater) super firm tofu makes really good mince! I enjoy it just as well as store bought alternatives and it's cheaper.
All looks so delicious...particularly drawn to the Winter vegetable pastries & broccoli soup ~ real comfort food for chilly days. A tip for hand-grating carrots: grate holding the carrot at about a 45 degree angle and you get longer less watery shreds :)
This influencer has a talent for creating content that is both informative and entertaining, which is why they have such a large and dedicated following.
Why focus on the grater? Because its GREAT. Hehe anyways! Those pastries looked SO tempting to eat, id deffo wud have done the same and ate them lol the mexican and vegan mince sounds very comforting ^_^
I'm thinking about switching my diet, and I'm looking at vegan and plant base. Your cooking style is wonderful because it's every day lifestyle living. From your pasties to your macaroni cheese then to your home made soup's oh and not forgetting that bread (amazing). I'm still working on this as it will be a life changing decision for me, but will let you know when I've made up my mind. So Thank you for your help in this matter. 🥰
Jamie oliver has a veggie pasties recipe that I have been doing since he firstly posted it and it is delicious. It filling and it goes great with a salad and I often take it to work too! I meal prep scrambled tofu for breakfast at once and it last me a week which is also good if you like it!
i love your videos. you inspired me to do my meal prep, i am so excited writing recepies and prepering food. today i try muesli and it was great. love you xoxo
Just to let everyone know - you can freeze your coconut milk, so if you only need a little bit the rest doesn't go to waste and you can just add it in as and when needed xx
If the mixture you put onto the puff pastry was warm then that makes the pastry wet/melted and hard to work with 🙈 I’ve learnt that the hard way - I’m too impatient to wait for it to cool! Haha
If you have ice cube trays for your freezer I've had great success with freezing the extra bit of a can of coconut milk! Then you can pop out a cube or two into soup when you're heating it up on the stove
I'm so very grateful for this video, it's come at a perfect time for me as Ive been looking for inspiration for meal prepping 😍🍴😋😋 thank you!! All these meals are so so me!!!! ♥️ Yum!!! Xxx
I would love to see you make pasties! I have roots in the upper peninsula of Michigan where Cornish miners emigrated, my ancestors included, and pasties are a big part of the culture there! I make them vegan with seitan and just use potatoes, onions, and Swedes (we call them rutabaga). My ancestors came from Penzance in the 1880s 😊 love seeing your life in Cornwall! ❤
Ooh I make turnovers like that for a treat, I usually use linda mccartney vegan duck, gravy, grated carrots and peas and mint. Will try these though, I've never thought to freeze half of them before cooking 😁💚🌱
I’m a vegan but a very unhealthy vegan. I desperately want to lose weight and start liking myself again. I’m struggling with healthy meals and portion size. I don’t want to have to live my life weighing food and counting calories. Thank you so much for these honest videos. I’m going to try meal prepping and see if that stops me grabbing for the easy but unhealthy options x
Thank you so much Madeleine! Do you create these dishes yourself or find them from someone else? Everything you make is always delicious! Very talented!! Diane
This screams of a group of very sad individuals looking to troll me based on the up votes. Please take your intentional nastiness elsewhere because it isn't invited in this community.
a tip: if you don't want to use the whole tin of coconut milk, just freeze the rest in an ice cube tray and use it later 😊
I honestly do this with everything that I don't finish. It's a game changer!!!
For blended soups, I use large mason jars because it's so much easier to pour them into a bowl than spooning out of a container. I use that for freezing soups too. It saves containers for other things.
This is a very good idea!

I’m not vegan but love watching your videos and how creative you are with food. I would love to see vegan baking videos😊
Oooh yes this would be great! Maybe next time I meal prep I will bake a cake!
I just started my journey eating better and trying vegan foods, you inspire me ❤
You'll be fully fledged vegan soon. Stick to it, so much delicious foods to make and try. The biggest bonus, the animals thank you 💚💚💚
Love a vegan meal prep😋 I usually freeze half a tin of coconut milk in a suitable container, and then thaw it when I need to use it
Brilliant idea!
Me too! I freeze it in either icecube trays or silicone mini muffin cups.

So beautifully done, as always...I love how you so successfully prioritize the details of your life!!!

You are so genuine, lovely and inspiring to eat vegan. I love watching you❤
I've just been thinking about how I need to start meal prepping, so great timing. Thank you!
More Meal Prep Videos Please!!!! Its great inspiration
Lovely and helpful! You can freeze any coconut milk you don't use...I do it all the time! I let it thaw and then add to whatever I'm preparing!
Thanks for the tip re any list, really useful 💚
Living my pre motherhood life through this video while my toddler naps on me. I do miss a Sunday afternoon in the kitchen but I am sure they will come back to me some day. ❤️
Samee! Watching this as I have a quick snack while my 7-month-old is temporarily occupied by a teether lol

I loved that this was a realistic meal prep right down to eating a pastie hot rather than freezing one because they were so tasty.

Where is that green and white apron hanging in the background from?
What type of lettuce did you use please for the tempeh salad? X

You really shouldn't make comments/ask questions like that.
disgusting comment. what's wrong with you?
Do better. Commenting on anyone's appearance is extremely unnecessary.
