I am doing veganuary this year. I was kind of worried at the beggining but I honestly am having so much fun with food! I usually eat around 90% of my meals vegan so I don't even know why I was nervious. So far it's been a great experience! I'm definitely going to try the breakfast wrap, it looks delicious :)
After wrapping the breakfast burrito., try grilling it for a few minutes on each side. Boosts the flavor, melts the cheese, and makes a crispy exterior
At least in the US, we’d call that a “breakfast burrito”. Those always contain an egg scramble or scramble substitute and can contain veggies, breakfast type meats (or fake meats) like sausage or ham, potatoes, avocado, salsa, etc. They usually don’t have rice but I occasionally see ones with black beans. They’re really popular as a handheld breakfast and lots of fast food or local taco stand type restaurants serve them for breakfast.
I work at a used bookstore, and veggie and house (w/ sausage) breakfast burritos are on our cafe menu! They are super popular and we serve them with several of our house made salsa options. 🤤❤️
I’m a student studying at home right now and for lunch I like to make a big batch of food that will last throughout the week, so I did the breakfast burrito (doubled up the amount) and tried it and omg it SLAPPED. It’s so freaking good, one of the best foods I’ve tried in a while. I feel like this is going to be my only lunch for a couple of weeks now, it was seriously so good & recommend everyone to try it!!! 🤤

Love the crispy kale on top of the soup idea! Definitely going to try that next time I make a puree soup (allergic to carrots and hate parsnips, but I have an amazing sweet potato lentil curry soup recipe that I love).

Thanks for all the lovely recipes. I'm going to try the curry but since there are already potatoes in it and I don't want double carbs, I'll serve it alongside some cauliflower rice and leave out the cauliflower in the curry 😊

Brilliant idea to add some crispy kale to the soup. I always cook my pasta IN the sauce of a pasta bake. I just add everything to the oven dish at the start with at least another can of water. This way as it cooks it absorbs the tasty pasta sauce and not the water as it would if it's cooked first. A real game changer ... and less washing up.
Sounds weird, but I really liked that you said what you did. I often "listen" to videos and so I can listen and judge whether I'll like to try the recipe without having to watch all the time. The recipes sound great and I'd love to test the burrito 🤤 Regards from Germany Stephanie

Wonderful recipes Madeleine, definitely trying all of those. We always put potatoes in our curries, my daughter's friends mother was Asian and she said they always did this and it helps to thicken it too. My mouth is watering!!

Burritos don’t usually have rice. That’s a thing that places like chipotle or places outside of California does.

I normally lock all your recipes and I definitely enjoyed the cauliflower potato curry recipe but I must admits it definitely needs Atleast salt ??? To balance the spices and heat out otherwise it tastes a bit odd. So I added a half teaspoon of salt and it was perfect!
