I lost my little dog on Christmas day very suddenly, heart tumour with no symptoms until Christmas morning when he was sick. My heart is broken, he was 8 , please cherish your two little guys, they are not here long 😢💔

So so sorry it's the worst thing .. I agree cherish every moment with them as they only have you and dogs love you unconditionally! .. All they ever want to do is make you happy .. I lost my little pomeranium 3 months ago and I cried for a month .. I will love him forever .. he was my little dancing boy and I miss him every single day ! .. RIP all our little animal friends x

Time with elders is so important. This is the first time I’ve checked your vlogs in weeks......my Dad had been ill in hospital since the end of November. Sadly he passed away on 16th January and we had his funeral on 20th January. When I logged on and saw the ‘time with elders’ caption I just had to comment. I’m so glad we got to spend so much time with Dad at the end and tell him all the things we wanted to say. I don’t know how we are going to cope as a family without him. He was a huge part of our lives. Just like you guys, I live right next to my Mum and Dad so I saw them every day. Can’t believe I’m never going to see him again. Hug your parents extra tight today. X

Great to see you doing a vegan burger test 👍 Beyond Meat also do sausages and Richmond do great meat free sausages. If you like the vegan Magnums, there’s vegan Cornettos and a good vegan butter is Naturli, it tastes really nice, it’s in most supermarkets. If Dina likes more natural vegan burgers, try Aldi’s sweet potato burgers only £1.50 for two, or Gosh Moroccan koftas in Sainsbury’s. Vivera do good meat alternatives too in supermarkets. I’d love to see you dong more vegan taste tests. I just had the Chicago Town jackfruit vegan pizza, £3 from Iceland, it’s in most supermarkets and it’s really nice, it’s had good reviews.

I’m recovering well from my hip replacement now week 3 post op and I went out for the first time yesterday. Getting recovered but it’s slow. Your Vlogs are great company

Aww nanny Di just love her 🧡 my friend had a hip replacement and her one leg became shorter than the other. They do a disclaimer before the op to say this can happen, my friend was unfortunate as hers was to a greater degree than a lesser one, to the point the hospital build her shoes up for her to be able to walk, but she now needs a knee replacement as the way she walks twists the knee. She was only in her late 40s when this happened. Nanny Di your a real trooper and it melts my heart to see how Mark and she are together 🧡💕🧡💕

I love listening to older people's stories. When I was a bit more well I wanted to go and visit patients in hospitals who didn't get any visitors but then I ended up with Chronic illness myself so couldn't manage to do it. Older people love telling their life stories....x
Love ur family...only watch loose women on thurs and Friday wen Nadias on. Spent the last 2 years trying to support my husband through alcoholism unfortunately i seem to have lost the battle...but u both gave me hope wen I needed it so thank u xx

My shoulders are like that too, but im told by a physio that I have mild scoliosis and my shoulder rolls forward, so I need toconciously pullit back when walking. I get a lot of shoulder and neck pain because of my posture.
I love Nanny Di. I lost my mum last year and she makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

I wish I could do that granola, but I am allergic to cinnamon, and quinoa. I do add blueberries to the one I make though, but mine has more oats as the help my diabetes. I add almonds and crushed walnuts plus grated apple when serving it up.

Unfortunately some vegan alternatives are basically falafel or bubble and squeak with the word burger on the packet. But there are some good alternatives. Will have to try the Tesco one.

I have the same problem as Nanny Di with my foot. Mine is down to two botched tendon transplants when I was younger. That will be why her knee is longer. I have one leg two inches longer than the other.

Nanny Di with her longer leg and long arms bless her, I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I tried the Birds Eye plant based burgers and I really enjoyed them . And totally agree about oldies have so much knowledge and stories to tell on life experiences I’m one of them I’m 73 in February and my younger friends and my family love hearing my experiences and life especially the 60s and I did live my life back then and I’m very lucky as i don’t look or act my age and as my friends have always said to you will never grow old gracefully and I won’t forever the rebel.. hope Maddie got her part she is so talented ❤️

I try to think how I would feel if I new people did not take an interest in my day or being just because I have grown older ...I think it would make me feel sad . ❤️❤️❤️❤️ also there are people at the centre that tell me if it was not for the community centre they would go all week without speaking with anyone ...they have lost partners , family don’t live nearby and they have out lived friends ...it can happen to us all one day ..❤️❤️

My niece is a vegan (8/years now). She has no problem with ‘substitute’ meat, in fact she loves it. She lives in France where veganism is unheard off except if you are ill. I love plant based meat. You can do Spag Bol, chili, lasagne, taco shells etc they are delIsh!
My grandchildren were most upset when mother duck & her ducklings were set upon by marauding males. The babies went under the fence to accompanying Zoo. Mum was screeching to escape. Finally attracting the game keeper of the elephant enclosure he opened accompanying fence to let ducklings out. We kept ducklings safe waiting for almost 2 hrs till she returned, frantic, but all together. We went back following morning yes our wee family were contained. Swans are mating all year around.now days....as we have no definition in seasons. My grandees ❤️going on Eco watch walks.

Have you tried your dogs on a raw food diet? I switched my little poodle in October. She loves it. Best things are small poos AND her poo doesn’t smell.
Mark, Don't do that to your eye. I had a detached retina and that doctor told me not to rub my eyes like that. Aww, Nanny Di is an inspiration and has a great sense of humour.........x

nanny di, they gave me a shoe lift for my short leg, it goes in the shoe like and insole but built up on the hee.l
Lior _ Vibefeeler I have a shoe lift too but it doesn’t help much, just makes my foot not sit in the shoe properly, I have a deformed hip
Allison Marsh oh no that’s horrible! My foot has become flatter over the years so I may need a new lift that shapes my foot
Lior _ Vibefeeler I don’t know what’s possible as I have RA and severe osteoarthritis, really bad in my feet, Rey painful to walk, rheumatologist sent me to podiatrist but they said could do nothing for me but did I know I had one leg shorter than the other, we can give you a shoe lift for that! So just have to get on with it. Hope you get help with yours x

Trust me. The Impossible Burger (only available in the US at the moment) makes the beyond meat burger seem like cardboard in comparison. It is unbelievable. If you are ever in the US go and try one. You will be amazed.

I’m not sure you are considering the necessity for trigger warnings , sadly for quite a number of the population require them.
@@Poppins1110 I’ve had past experience with sexual assault, and what contributed to the shame I felt was people not discussing rape openly and people treating the subject as something so horrific it shouldn’t be mentioned. I’d rather rape was spoken about in an informed, educated manner than brushed under the carpet. Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself -HG.
Wonder Woman I respect everything you have said and being so honest. I wasn’t as brave as you to begin with ... for me the word is very triggering and at silly 0’clock when I can’t sleep because of PTSD I tune into this and it affected me - very subjective of course but I felt the urge to mention it that’s all.
There is no shame - I was just looking for an escape 💜
@@Poppins1110 I’m sorry Poppins1110 , I should have been open to other people’s coping methods. You have ever right to feel triggered, and you are at a different stage to me in the recovery process. The trauma is still raw for you, but trust me, I never thought I’d be able to talk about what happened but now I’m able, and I no longer suffer from the symptoms of pTSD I used to. You will get through this, I promise you. Big love to you 💛 I know what you’re going through. You’ll feel brave when you feel ready, there is no rush to heal, you will heal in your own time. X
