I've returned after 4 years to an insane amount of love and content. I have taken a break from msq just to go unlock more content and level some alts for the sake of variety. So much fun to be had in this game its wild. I do wish they'd add a little more to do while I'm working remote from home. BDO gives alternative ways to do crafting where you craft poorly, but at least you can earn some gil while enjoying the view while afk.
I did the same thing, had everything lvl 90 before starting endwalker even because of it. I'm not the biggest fan of the crafting, as I do think it could deserve a bit more love. But then again, bdo burned my brain 😂
I heard horror stories about Arum Vale before I even went the first time and I understand now. As of writing this comment I've been there twice and first time I had a tank who went AFK for 5 minutes without warning while standing in a poison puddle just before the final boss, luckily he came back. Second time I had a DPS who thought they were really big brained in eating all the fruit at once just as we entered the boss room. There was also a second DPS who ate the fruit that I (the healer) was about to eat causing me to die and everyone to wipe.
Im playing on xbox (finally!) And i honestly thought beast tribe dailys were some level 70 or 80 thing, im like 30 quests deep into the pre HW quests and finding out i can start beast dailys has brought me some much needed excitement 😂
There is a set of job unlocks missing from your list! The Stormblood jobs, Red Mage and Samurai, unlock at level 50. Unlike the Heavensward jobs, the quests begin in the starting cities, so you can start them as soon as you reach the level, instead of requiring you to reach level 60 and enter Stormblood.
I will be completely honest... Samurai is my main. And I am slightly ashamed that I somehow completely forgot to make sure it's mentioned... Thank you very much!!

I'm 1800 hours in and I completely skipped all the blue unlock quest well thanks for the video I'm trying to do the longest ones like with a good story. I just found the quest "Ruby Doomsday".🎉
After finding that the right class for me was Black Mage, the most useful blue quest was "My Feisty Little Chocobo" at level 30 I leveled him as dps because I wanted the dragoon set for him, as I actually didn't mean to use it as a companion, however, I decided to try his healing skills after hearing so much rave about it, and it was all true!!! I was able to do Fates that before I couldn't because I got killed just seconds before completing them, now I'm level 90 but even so, I don't go anywhere without him I'm completing Stormblood, and I'm a little sad that in the next expansions, chocobos are not allowed in certain important side zones

So I’ve apparently not unlocked Alexander, and I have no idea what blue quests to do bc I’m in the beginning of stormblood and I kinda need the content so I don’t burn out on msq 😞
Ya gotta get yourself Alexander, top tier content! And here's where to start the questline to unlock it for ya. Unlock: Completion of the level 60 quest chain starting with the quest "Disarmed" by talking to "Slowfix" in "Idyllshire" (X:7.5 Y:6.5)
I've played and 100% all mainline FF games, with the exception of the online entries, this series of guides has made the transition from single player FF games to FF14 so damn simple, I'd almost say you make it idiotproof 🤣. I'm only at MSQ lvl. 15. But Im curious, when would you say the best time to drop money on the game is?
If your wallet is feeling itchy, wait until you hit lvl 50 and have started the heavenward expansion. However if your happy to play as free trial for the time being, then wait until you hit 60, best thing to do overall is put in a few hours, and by then it won't be a question of "Whens it best to spend money" but "Do you want to spend money". I'm also very glad I could help, it's idiot proof, because I was an idiot 😂 I do a lot of content, but if there's a topic that needs explaining I'd be happy to cover it!

im lvl 56 ninja and oboro still doesnt give the lvl 52 job quest so on, is it possible thats because im missing blue quests? how do i know wich one i gotta do to unlock furder job quests?
@@DyingLegacy i just killed the giant centaur and the credits of the game pop up right after completing it.. so i think i ve done at least the first expansion, now im still following the msq but its not giving me as much exp , maybe because im on a trial account? not sure
@@tchevensky7802 When you are accepting your next msq quest, check the name and level of it. It probably has to be above lvl 52. Trial account has nothing to do with it, you're just heading into the arr patch content. You aren't into the next expansion yet. Which means you're not above the lvl 50 quests yet. So wait until heavensward before you can start doing those quests I'd imagine.

@@tchevensky7802 Nah play the game at your own pace, and go back over time to gather the content as you want it. At the moment and just enjoy the msq. But yeah, that's probably why you can't at the minute.
@@DyingLegacy ugh I wish they would add XP, I want to go back and do some relics but it doesn't feel worth the time grinding for a glam I might not use. At least with bozja you get XP and then in zadnor the hairstyles that drop go upwards of a mil or 2
@@DyingLegacy I feel like these instances zones was such a bad step in the wrong direction, I remember entering and wondering why they would want to funnel any of the playerbase into this zone. I spent hundreds of hours to grind 3 relics that I hardly use if ever use anymore. I'm just overall sad that some glam is locked behind this dead and uninspired piece of content.

It has nothing to do with blue quests. How far re you into the msq? That's the only thing that should be holding you back.
