I got Scarlet Heroes for Xmas and have just gotten around to reading the rule book the last week or two, so this video series has been very helpful. (Hopefully I didn’t say this in the first 2 videos already) I also have The One Ring and the Strider mode PDF so that series is ALSO super-helpful. Thanks for producing all this content for us out here in UA-cam land. :-)

Thanks for sharing this. Man your map looks amazing! I’ve been using Basic Fantasy and I do like their system but I’ve heard a lot of good things about Scarlet Heroes.
Scarlet Heroes is great. Easy solo gaming or gaming for 1 on 1 with say a spouse or your child if you are introducing them to the hobby.
I realise I'm replying to a really old comment here but wanted to let you know I'm playing a mashup of the Scarlet Heroes rules with the monsters, equipment and levelling system from Basic Fantasy, so you can have both! They work really well together.

what's your opinion on divine magic healing? BFRPG healing is by touch only! I think in 5e the higher level heal has a 30 or 60' range. I think playing games like EQ and WOW got me used to heal from a distance...
I'm pretty sure how BFRPG does healing magic is how most old school editions of D&D handle it. Personally, I like it. I think too much "AoE" stuff, if handled poorly, feels like a video game and not a TTRPG.
What software are you using for that map? Thanks
The map was made in Worldographer and exported into my VTT of choice, Foundry.

Thats how it goes. Looking back I would probably reroll. Or we could say the rooms have been converted into vaults from something else.
