@@RedExionshello! Want to give you an instruction how to spend 350.000 euro per season.
At first I want to say that I live in Russia, so every race at European tracks costs me (not me, my parents actually) around 15.000 euro because of all flights, hotels and personal coach each race. Also Russian championship is very competitive and provides OK and KZ-2 classes, not Rotax, so we have 2 championships out there and OK was pretty expensive.
I had: 17 races in Europe (17x15000=255.000 thousand euro), 6 rounds of Russian championship with 6 pre-races (OK class) (12x6000=72.000 euro) and two races in Rotax (2x4000 euro=8000 euro). Races cost us 335.000 euro, then we add pre-season team payment (8000 euro) and price of 2 new suites and 1 new helmet with painting we get near very near to price of 350.000 euro. And that all to only win Russian championship and not getting even close to top-3 in Europe. I really appreciate to my parents. And, I will say it again, it was only OK season, not KZ!

From my research the cheapest form of tier 2 in North America is LO-206 Brigs & Stratton. My est is it would cost $2k US/ year for fun club Karting excluding travel, etc. If u absolutely want to run @ the front you could double that (less if U have lots of talent) from expenses for doing more tack time.
The least expensive class in our national championship is 100cc two stroke, which costs 2-5 times as much as lo206.
If one wanted to make a career of racing I’d say do lo206 until U easily finish in top 3 in most races, in at least two clubs. Then move up to 100cc. If u r talented you would be able to get some sponsorship. It u reg finish in top 3 in mult clubs I’d consider going to the national championship. If u get top 10 there I bet u could get lots of help in Rotax, X30, or OK. If you get top 5 there @ nationals I bet u could get help starting in cars.

OTK chassis lasts longer than one season. My lasted a full season with 10 races plus 5 which were already on it when i got it. Plus however manz practise sessions. Currently have a new chassis which and that should last a minimum of a season. First four races it is like brand new then it starts to slowly decline.

Well I don't really count that as karting. I think it is more of a for fun class and more closely related to actual car racing
