When are you getting more sizes of the blue hoodie Marty is wearing please? Been looking for a while and you only have small and extra small 😭 I need a large or XL haha check your stock cupboards for me please! :)
Mighty car mods is definitely the best and most constant automotive UA-cam channel, I mean they smash it every video and I for one am never disappointed. Keep up the good work Moog and Marty
I just wish there was a legit American MCM. I love these guys, but man, I _really_ want to see them work on some American muscle... And by that I mean... you seem to get two kinds of American muscle car shows. Either bottom-dollar "look at our stupid shenanigans" Roadkill-esqe, or "Look at us swap parts with this $$$$ kit from (insert sponsor here)" everyone else. No one is doing what MCM does - working on original hardware with just the skills under their belts, respecting the craft that originally went into these nuggets.
Don't know why i noticed in this episode but the video was sonically epic. The dynamics and imaging of the sound was so cool with the fill music. Thats world class editing and enjoy watching your videos every time.
I've been watching tons of MCM and other car youtube for years and I think today was the FIRST TIME I've ever seen someone use brake cleaner to actually clean their brakes. :D
@@DArkwIng2 you can see at 6:49 when Marty is installing the rotors that they are paint free where it matters. Either he had them masked or cleaned them up afterwards.
Love the car!! But after seeing that fuel filter you definitely want to pull the injectors and get the rail cleaned and injectors flowed and cleaned or upgrade before you put the aftermarket ecu on! Seen it many times as a mechanic, those injectors baskets will be full of crap no doubt
This is my favourite car on the chanel 100 percent.. .my worm hole has been re-respected and didn't blow me any galaxys away wich is just Madddd..thank you MCM for helping me through addiction, The cars of MCM book is my go too. Thanks so much guys, mental health in Australia is crazy and its dudes like you guys that make Australia a madddd place to be👌👌 thanks heaps for your help

I love the music, it is hitting me in this episode in particular; I am hearing TRON, Sega Master System, you name it. Thanks for the great car work, I can tell it is a forever car!
If you ever get stuck with o rings seals like for your fuel tank at the beginning of the video. Try a Hydraulic seals company. Some stock many sizes for Hydraulic rams etc... and they have the types of rubber levels for corrosion and heat levels. Some places even make seals on site to your specs, just got to give them measurements if the old seal not available.
A little tip when you’ve cleaned out your fuel tank is to put some paper towels in it and blast it with a air hose the towels fly around and soak up everything that’s left
Can't tell you guys just how much I thoroughly enjoy your channel and can't wait for the next so Thank you very much and please keep em coming. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE
As much as it sucks when things don’t work out perfectly when you put it all back together, it’s kind of a good feeling watching it happen. Bring a more human element to UA-cam car legends.
i absolutely love this episode !! i’ve been watching you guys for eight or nine years, i think, and it’s so great to see how far you’ve come since Mum’s driveway…!!
seeing youtube vids of people doing LS swaps, turbo kits, etc. is awesome but i feel like theres nothing better than watching a classic nugget get some maintenance and minor mods.
After i've seen the brown fuel from the filter, would recommend to flush the fuel lines. Front and back is refreshed (tank and filter) dont miss the lines. Greets from Germany!
Man the engineering and intuition you guys have is outstanding. I like how you guys can piece together a car with what you have and make it functional and perform just like or if not better than the aftermarket part neelop. You guys are a big inspiration. I dream to have on my own garage filled with all my old dirty stinky Nissan's one day. Congrats to Marty on his first v band. He might start making V-Bands for all the rare Japanese cars that there aren't any parts for anymore lol.
Such a cool little nugget. The super turbo march has to be my favorite. Super Gramps was cool but the honk is my favorite. Thanks for making odd cars fun.
Im so glad yall are working on the super turbo. Just bought myself one with 54k original miles. Its currently sitting in my garage waiting for a thermostat and coolant temp sensor

I miss my k11 super s. We had a good thing going back in the day on the micra forum. It's good to see you back in the super turbo. Maybe one day I will be able to find a super s for sale!
A few tips when turning parts on the lathe. Get the cutting speed correct, different metals machine best at the correct speed. The cutting tool must exactly on the centre height, use a selection of shims to get it right. The cutting tool rake and clearance angles have to be ground in to the tool to suit the metal being machined and it has to be kept sharp. Use coolant and cutting fluid for the best finish.
I love the concept of twin-charging. I know with modern DI Turbo engines no lag can be achieved but there is something rube goldbergian and retro future about both a supercharger and a turbo. Not to mention the sound. Do a Twin Charged VW someday???

Top Tip for repairing rust pinhole. 2 steps #1 electroetch the inside of the tank basically reverse plating steel.
