@Double Boe 7 yeah same the green lights switch to the other side on the power terminal. It just powers off once I connect it to the door. Nvm I got it..
For someone with 143 subs he makes good guides. Usually i had to wait 15 minutes for the person to get to how an inverter works (what i was looking for) but he got right to the point

I abandoned them and used other doors or just left them unpowered until I googled "No man's sky Door with no power".

For those who need a typed up list to understand: Items you need: - Door (automatic) - Power inverter - Proximity switch Instructions: - Power inverter has 3 sections: 1. Green lights 2. No lights (grey middle section) 3. Red lights - Plug a wire from your power source to the GREEN (input) section of the power inverter to power it, then extend this wire to the input (left side) of the proximity switch to power that, too. - Run a wire from the output (right side) of the proximity switch to the CENTER (grey section) of the power inverter. - Run a wire from the RED (output) section of the power inverter to the door plug. Voilà! Automatic door is automated. Thank you Rusty!
It’s also worth noting that the color of the lights doesn’t matter, it can flow both ways. What’s important is that you have the power coming in one side and out the other, just remember which side is your input and which is your output.

1h30 later and 10 000 combinations later and still not working 2h00 later and I finally got it. This guide is completely inverted. Do exactly the opposite and it works. (Ex: connect red instead of green etc)
The color is sort of besides the point. If you're doing it correctly it's bi-directional with the inverter acting as a gate to allow the flow of power through. You can plug it in to either red or green as long as one side is attached to the power source, and the other side is attached to the door., with a switch leading to the center post. This method still functions as of update 3.1 it's in use at various bases I currently play in. It is an older video though, and I plan on updating it with some new information, and a couple of different door wiring setups using parts that have been added since this video was made.

if its done the other way around, its a really good way to turn off powers and save energy from electronics you don´t use unless you´re standing infront of it. I did this in early stage with my vaults and many things to save up power. I step up close, the vault get power and opens, then I step away and the power turns off and it locks.

Too right I lost it with the garage doors and then realised it is actually a bug that hasn't been fixed.
